Gender is a total scam, there's no innate mystical connection to manhood and womanhood. There's no feeling like that. Maleness and femaleness are physical attributes, not souls. And there's that, your body and whether or not you have dysphoria and if you do, how you choose to manage it (and yes sure, within that you can choose to present/live however you want because people deserve to have bodily autonomy). But there's no Ethereal Mystical Truth About Gender that you must find deep within yourself. It's all a lie. It's all what we've been taught about what is considered "masculine" and "feminine" but that's all a social construction and not tied to anything true about human nature. Anyone can have "masculine" traits and feel connected to them and viceversa. We all often have a mix of both, and pretending that we devote even parts of our lives to explore and find our True Gender is all a waste of time. Just be you.

It will never cease to amaze me when someone makes a post with clear radfem/rad leaning ideology and then ‘TERFS ARE IN THE NOTES THIS ISNT FOR YOU FUCK OFF’ or a post gets ‘stolen’ from a radfem

Like, my dear.......maybe if your opinions are widely circulated and agreed with in radfem circles PERHAPS we are not as different as you’d like to believe or tell yourself.

I’ve never seen a post get “stolen” from a blatant white supremacist/anti-semite bc they had good points. Maybe something to think about.

On a similar note, ive had this blog for a couple of years now and my views have obviously changed alot, as has my personal life, but i do specifically remember a post i made early on somewhere along the lines of "im a simple transman, i see a butch woman in public and im filled with a strong sense of kinship and comfort" and man if that doesnt still apply. I honestly detest the attempts by both the trans community and genuinely transphobic women trying to separate the transmasc experience from the gnc bi/lesbian experience. There will always be an overlap, and by driving a wedge between the communities and vehemently going "he/him lesbians arent lesbians! Transmen cant be lesbians! Transmen have NOTHING in common with butch lesbians and masculine bi women!" the mogai hellscape and "queer" community is fostering an attitude in transmen, of all sexual orientations, that being associated with lesbianism is bad, dirty, wrong, transphobia, etc and its making a group of young gnc women and girls (many of whom actually ARE lesbians) that its okay to say shit like "ugh im so ugly and i dont pass at all i just look like a [lesbophobic slur] :(" and like. If that doesnt reinforce both regular lesbophobia and internalized homophobia idk what the fuck it does lmao. Anyway im fucking rambling but what im saying is this:

The female gnc experience is broad and diverse, its also both powerful and vulnerable and beautiful and ugly and wonderful, and i think we as a society are great disservice to young gnc women by driving a wedge between communities with this kind of overlap, and it ends up making all of us a little more isolated when we're no longer allowed to say "im a transman and i find comfort and kinship with gnc women" or "im a gnc woman and i relate to alot of the experiences of transmen". I dont know. I suffer from a chronic case of "doesnt know how to get to the fucking point, or what the point necessarily IS" have a good day

It’s so crazy how humans r social creatures but we’re stuck in this hell hole of late stage capitalism that convinces us we can not only heal in isolation but thrive in it too, find purpose and dedication and make a lifestyle out of it, and only at the end of that tiresome road can we reward ourselves by leaving desolation behind and replacing it with community when the whole time it’s always companionship and love and understanding that we need, it’s always someone we can share with to know we are not alone in this place and this pain...
