Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters.
A few more Blue Tokai coffees I have tried during my time in Kolkata. The cold brew was much needed during the 40°C+ days here!
Will be back in Auckland in a few days and am looking forward to getting back to my cafe visits! ☺️

Kalledevarapura Estate, Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters
Cafe culture is not that big in the city that I am in right now, but I do get coffee delivered to drink at home. I've tried Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters in 2018 when I was here last, and have been trying them again with my parents. Almost through with this bag and quite liking it!

A couple of photos from the Allpress Espresso at the Auckland airport. I had an oat flat white and quite liked the decor of the spot!

O3 Space, Newmarket
Drink pictured: Oat flat white ($7)
Visited O3 Space in Newmarket over the weekend. It's mostly a coworking space but they also have food and coffee during the day. The back "cave" area is normally only accessible with a paid subscription but they had a free trial the day that we went. They do have a free public area at the front though. The cave at the back is really lovely (and photogenic), and I haven't really seen anything like this in Auckland before!

Some photos from Fluff, which is one of my favourite cafes! They use beans from Sorted Coffee and I really like their yellow colour scheme! 💛

Bambina, Newmarket
Drink pictured: Oat iced latte ($8).
Back to Auckland cafes starting with Bambina in Newmarket. They use Allpress Espresso here and I enjoyed my oat iced latte! They have mostly indoor seats and a few outdoor seats too.

Pour & Twist, Wellington
Drinks pictured: Iced filter coffee ($11) and teh tarik ($5).
The final coffee post from Welly (and my first coffee there) is about Pour & Twist. They are a fully manual brew bar, so they don't serve espresso based drinks. I knew about them since 2019 but when I visited Wellington in December 2019, they were closed, so I'd been waiting 4 years to try this place. They were pretty busy on the Sunday morning that we went, and it's not a big cafe so we were lucky to get some seats. I had an iced filter coffee (using Rocket Coffee beans) and my partner had a teh tarik, which was his favourite cafe drink that he had in Wellington this time. Next time I'd like to go and try one of their specialty drinks!

Swimsuit Coffee (Dixon Street), Wellington
Drinks pictured: Oat iced maple ($7), hot chocolate and flat white.
The second coffee stop in Wellington was at Swimsuit Coffee on Dixon Street. They use Coffee Supreme beans here. I had an Oat Iced Maple (which is an oat milk iced latte with maple syrup) and I liked it so much that I am still thinking about it! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and I really liked their dark blue exterior.

Coffee Supreme Midland Park, Wellington
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($6.5) and hot chocolate.
My third stop in Wellington was at Coffee Supreme Midland Park. Most people were getting takeaway there, as there were only a few seats. They also sell beans and a lot of coffee brewing equipment there as well!

Evil Twins Coffee, Wellington
Drinks pictured: Oat iced latte ($7) and hot chocolate ($5).
Was in Wellington for the long weekend and tried 4 coffee places there. I'll go backwards starting with our final stop, which was Evil Twins Coffee. They use beans from L'Affare with a special roast for their cafe. It looks like a small cafe when you first go in but there is a lot of seating in the attached bigger room. I had an oat iced latte and I really like the cup that my partner's hot chocolate was served in!

Little Q, Kingsland
Drinks pictured: Oat flat white ($5.8), white hot chocolate ($5.5) and almond iced latte ($7.3).
Some photos from Little Q in Kingsland. They use beans from Aoraki Coffee Roasters and offer a medium and dark roast. I have tried both and prefer the medium. It has mostly indoor seats with a bench and a few small tables outside, and is a super photogenic space!

Coffee Supreme Iced Long Black
Price: $15.4 (4 cans, on sale)
Coffee Supreme is having a sale on their canned iced coffees until the end of the month so I took the opportunity to try the iced long black, and I really liked it! I normally make cold brews at home during the summer weekends but this works just as well for when I'm feeling lazy....or forget to prepare my cold brew the previous night!

Lily Eatery, Devonport
Drinks pictured: Iced americano and long black with a side of milk.
Went back to Lily Eatery in Devonport a few weeks ago. Always a big fan of their interior! I had an iced americano. They use beans from Eighthirty Coffee Roasters, and I really liked the little piccolo glass that they served the extra milk in.
