I really need this spread around because this is becoming a serious issue.

The following is a post concerning reblog bait, and how harmful and triggering it can be, and why it needs to be stopped.

THESE types of posts really need to stop being made or spread. I have OCD and these are a massive trigger, because I physically cannot ignore them. I thought it was just a me thing for a while but then I posted a rant on my story on Instagram and so many other people with OCD (or even without) feel the same, and on top of that they just clog peoples feeds.

And it’s not not just the ones with consequences. Even the ones with rewards trigger it, because my brain automatically fills in the consequence. It’s effectively a simulation of OCD itself. You have to do something or something bad will happen.

This is becoming a serious issue and it’s really been affecting mine and others mental health. I don’t know if this will get anywhere but I’m trying to spread the message in the hopes that people understand.

EDIT: This goes for tiktok posts that ask you to ‘follow and copy link’ to lock in positive affirmations also!!! I don’t want to do that stuff, but I start freaking out with everything bad that’s going to happen to me if I don’t. Please spread this to stop people with anxiety, OCD and other mental health issues from suffering.

“I get it, I get it.” Simon spread the pamphlet open. “Here, I’ll practice on you.” He cleared his throat. “Mom. I have something to tell you. I’m undead. Now, I know you may have some preconceived notions about the undead. I know you may not be comfortable with the idea of me being undead. But I’m here to tell you that the undead are just like you and me.” Simon paused. “Well, okay. Possibly more like me than you.”

“SIMON.”

“All right, all right.” He went on. “The first thing you need to understand is that I’m the same person I always was. Being undead isn’t the most important thing about me. It’s just part of who I am. The second thing you should know is that it isn’t a choice. I was born this way.” Simon squinted at her over the pamphlet. “Sorry, reborn this way.”

Clary sighed. “You’re not trying.”

You know everyone always talks about how Jace is always seen as better than Alec, but I think it's forgotten that Jace never saw himself as better. He's always seen Alec as his equal, in the ways that Jace thought mattered anyway. It's everyone else who sees Jace as better.

Jace values Alec's pure soul, his goodness, his faith in people more than strength or how good a soldier you are. He values Alec's soul and heart more than his abilities as a Shadowhunter. And he thinks that makes Alec better than he could ever be.

JACE GETTING SUPER SPEED IS AMAZING(I mean he kind of already has it, but that only makes this more perfect). I love this so much, I hope you get around to writing it :D

Figuring out some of my AUs on Shadowhunters (and i have PLENTY bc why does this fandom fit, like, EVERYTHING???)

This one is a crossover with a wonderful Russian graphic novel “Exlibrium” originally created by Bubble studio (the authors of Major Grom btw) Explaining some details: the novel tells us about an organization that deals with fiction characters that come out from “awakened” books to our real world and cause troubles… And actually all its members were once harmed by those characters, became infected with a (kinda) transformed ink and - after an initiation - got a certain “spectral color” and a superpower connected with it (the original plot is amazing but sooo hard to describe :,) ) But thinking about it is quite fun, so: - Jace got azure = super speed so he is a freaking pain in the ass  - Clary is a holder of green and is able to heal (but not much of a fighter) - Isabelle - red & fire, because it is just HER - Simon was unlucky to get purple which gives an ability to control time and is quite dangerous so EVERYBODY HUNTS HIM LOL NOTHING CHANGED - Alec’s color is grey that is not normal (like black or white also) and he is under a certain control which makes him deal with a lot of issues (including mental) - Magnus… is not even a human being one of book characters who work on this organization  -and I assure you the things are a lot more complicated and in my head I’ve got a pretty big remake of the original TSC story based on this setting but ANGEL GIVE ME STRENGTH TO WRITE IT- Hope u enjoyed :>
