Valentine's Day: SEES Edition
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day! I didn't have time to make any for the girls but I might post some later! This was also my first-time writing Shinji so hopefully he's not too out of character. Enjoy!
Word Count: 2886
Minato Arisato
You sigh slightly, turning a box of chocolates over in your hands. You were definitely making this out to be more of a big deal than it was. The school day had ended and you were still sitting there in the classroom. Yukari and Junpei had already left to go back to the dorms and Minato had wandered off somewhere as per usual.
You were planning to give this box of chocolates to Minato, just to show your appreciation for everything he’s done for SEES. But your nerves got the best of you. This morning, you had walked to school with him and when you tried to give him the box, you immediately went silent when he looked at you. And at lunchtime when you saw him in the hallway, you had turned on your heel when your eyes met.
You lay your head on your desk sighing once again. “Darn it…”
“Who’s that for?”
Your head shoots up from your desk as you look to see Minato standing next to you. You didn’t even hear him come in.
“Minato! You’re still here. O-oh, um…” You stammer. You look away, tilting the box towards him. “...They’re for you, actually. Just as a thank you for everything you’ve done with SEES and all.”
“Oh. Thanks.” He takes the box and you let out a sigh of relief.
“ …you were really nervous, huh?”
You look at Minato, seeing a slight smirk on his face. “You noticed…?”
“Kinda hard not to. You avoided me all day.”
“Not my fault…”
He chuckles, “Thanks anyways. I appreciate it. Next year though, it’d be nice to see your face when you hand these to me.”
Your eyes widen and your face flushes as Minato grins. “Wanna head back to the dorms? We can share these.”
You laugh slightly as you stand up. “You’re really something sometimes… yeah, let’s head back.”
You follow Minato out of the classroom, the two of you chatting quietly. Maybe things didn’t go as planned, but in one way they worked out. Next year, you definitely would face him with a smile.
Junpei Iori
“Dude, did Y/N give you chocolates?” Junpei asks as he sits on the couch next to Minato. Akihiko was also present, sitting on the couch across from them.
“Yeah.” Minato replies, “Why?”
“I also got some too.” Akihiko adds, looking up from his boxing gloves. “What? They didn’t give you any?”
Junpei groans. “No… I mean Yuka-tan, Fuuka and Mitsuru-senpai gave me some, but that’s more of a teammate thing right? I dunno, I feel like Y/N and I are… more than that, or something.”
Neither Akihiko or Minato respond and Junpei groans again. “Oh c’mon, you guys have nothing to say?”
Minato shrugs. “Did you ask them out?”
“...no. I mean not yet at least.”
“There’s your answer then.”
“Dude, you're no help at all.” Junpei sighs, leaning his head back on the couch. “Did I do something wrong?”
“Maybe you just need to be patient. I don’t even think Y/N came back to the dorms yet.” Akihiko says.
“But the day’s almost over! …Okay, I’m going to look for them!”
Junpei gets up and heads out the door without another word. Meanwhile Mitsuru and Yukari enter the lounge from upstairs.
“He has a bit too much energy don’t you think? Should he really be worried about whether Y/N is giving him chocolates or not?” Yukari says with a sigh.
“Hey, let him be. He’s gotta put that energy to use somehow.” Akihiko replies.
Mitsuru sighs. “If only he’d have that amount of energy when it comes to his studies.”
---------------------------------
“Huh? My package hasn’t arrived yet? But I got an email saying it arrived today…” You say to the mail carrier.
“I’m sorry. It was expected to arrive today, but due to unforeseen conditions, it’s been delayed.”
You sigh. “I see… Well, thank you then. Could you give me an estimated arrival date?”
“It should arrive in about 2 days.”
“Great… thank you again.”
You exit the post office sighing once again as you start walking back towards the monorail. Well, there went your plans for the rest of the day. You wanted to surprise a certain someone with a co-op game the two of you mentioned playing together a while ago. You should’ve known there was no way that the game would actually arrive on the day of. Sure, it could have been better planning on your part, but the whole thing had slipped your mind up until last week.
Suddenly you hear a familiar voice call your name.
“Y/N! Finally, I found you!”
You look up and see Junpei running towards you.
“Junpei? What are you doing here?”
“I’ve been looking for you. Damn, I had no idea where to look so I’ve been running around all over the place.”
“Oh, I was on my way back to the dorms anyways. Were you worried about me or something?”
He chuckles a bit nervously. “Uh, yeah something like that.” Then he looks behind you. “The post office, huh? Picking up something?”
“Ah, yeah I was, but it turns out it’s not here yet.” You smile slightly. “I meant to order it way earlier, but I forgot. Kind of silly of me to think that it would actually arrive today.”
“Was it something for Valentine’s Day?”
“Yeah actually… wait, why are you asking so many questions?”
“N-no reason… Why are you getting so defensive?”
You cross your arms, looking at Junpei with a smirk. “Ohh, I see. You were looking for me because you were expecting a Valentine’s Day gift, right?”
Junpei scoffs. “No, why would I be expecting something? Valentine’s isn’t even that big of a deal.”
“Uh-huh… so I guess you don’t want your gift when it arrives then.”
His face lights up. “Wait, you got me something? For real?”
“And here I thought you were worried about little ol’ me.”
“Hey, who says I wasn’t?”
You laugh. “I’m just teasing. I appreciate you coming to look for me, even if it was only to get your gift.”
“And if my gift is right in front of me?”
A beat of silence passes and Junpei laughs nervously. “That was lame, forget I said anything.”
“It was a little lame… but I don’t mind it.” You say, whispering the last part. “Anyways, let’s head back to the dorms.”
“Did you say something? Something along the lines of ‘ I don’t mind it’?”
You don’t say anything as you start to walk past him.
“Hey c’mon! I’m just playin’!”
Akihiko Sanada
“Hey guys,” You say walking downstairs into the lounge. “What are you up to?”
“Oh, hey Senpai.” Junpei says with a grin. He and Minato were sitting at the table with a large pile of small boxes in front of them. They were all wrapped nicely with ribbons. “We’re just going through Akihiko-senpai’s Valentine’s Day gifts.”
“Uh, isn’t that an invasion of privacy?”
“Not necessarily. He gave us permission to look through them. You should’ve seen him when he came back to the dorms. He had no clue what to do with all of it. He said we could take some if we wanted. Man, getting all of this from girls and he just gives it away?”
“Well, it’s not like he’d eat it all anyway.” You say, then you look over at Minato. “I didn’t think you’d be taking some.”
Minato shrugs. “Free SP items, I’m not complaining.”
“Right…so where’d Akihiko head off to?”
“I think he said something about going for a run towards the shrine. He left not long ago so you could probably catch up to him.” Junpei replies.
“Thanks, see you guys later.”
You set off towards the shrine hoping to find Akihiko. When you arrived, the sun was setting, the pink and orange hue gently enveloping the area. You spot Akihiko sitting on top of the jungle gym, looking at the sky.
“Hey there Mr. Popular.” You say walking up. “You look worn out.”
“Y/N? What are you doing here?” Akihiko asks, a surprised look on his face.
“I heard from Minato and Junpei that you might be here. Mind if I join you?”
“Yeah, come on up.”
You climb up the jungle gym and Akihiko gives you a hand to lift you up. You sit next to him, looking up at the sky. “So, you had quite a day, huh? I saw Junpei and Minato with your gifts in  the lounge.”
Akihiko lets out a sigh. “Yeah. You wouldn't believe the amount of people in my classroom during lunch. Even the teacher had trouble getting them out of there.”
“Heh, I bet. I could hear those girls from down the hallway. ‘Sanada-senpai, these are for you!’ ‘Happy Valentine’s Day Sanada-san, please accept these!’ And so on and so forth.”
He hums in reply, chuckling slightly at your impression. Silence settles between the two of you as you continue to watch the sunset on the horizon. Then Akihiko speaks up.
“So, what brought you all the way over here? You weren't looking for me were you?”
“I was actually.” You say, handing two small boxes over. “You're probably tired of hearing this, but Happy Valentine's Day, Aki.”
Akihiko freezes when he hears the nickname and his face flushes, his ears are tinted red. You laugh a bit when you see his expression. “Sorry, it slipped out. I must've picked it up from Shinjiro. I’ll be more careful.”
“N-no! I mean…” Akihiko clears his throat, taking the boxes. “It's fine. You can call me Aki… if you want.”
You smile. “Maybe I will. It's pretty funny to see you like this.”
“Hey, don't tease me.” He sighs. Then he starts to open one of the boxes. “Hm, dark chocolate?”
“Yeah, you don't like sweets that much right? I figured you might like it better than milk chocolate.”
Akihiko nods as he takes a piece out, popping it into his mouth. “It’s good. Not too sweet, and it has some bitterness to it. This is something I wouldn’t mind having every once in a while.”
“Good, cause I know how to make them.”
“You made these?”
“I asked Shinjiro for help… which is probably where I picked up calling you Aki.” You chuckle nervously. “If you want I can give you the recipe.”
“Hm, how about we make it together then? It’d probably be good for me to learn how to make something more complex anyways.”
“Sure. We can get Shinjiro to join in as well.”
“Heh, he’d probably just yell at me whenever I do something wrong.”
The two of you laugh as Akihiko goes to open the other box. He unwraps it, revealing a small keychain, a pair of boxing gloves to be exact. He looks at you, holding it up. “You got these for me?”
You nod. “I saw it at Paulownia Mall one day and you came to mind. Sorry, it’s a bit cheesy, isn’t it?”
Akihiko shakes his head, a small smile appears on his face. “No, I don’t think so at least. Hearing you say that you thought of me… it’s a nice feeling. I’ll have to put this on my bag so that way I can think of you when I see it.”
This time you freeze at Akihiko’s words, you can feel your face flush as you try to come up with a response. You weren’t even sure if he realized the effect of his words.
“Hm? What’s wrong? Your face got all red…  well it is getting a bit chilly, huh? Do you want to head back to the dorms?”
“Ah… yeah, let’s head back.” You say with a smile. You climb down the jungle gym and Akihiko follows you down.
“Hey actually,  how about we get some beef bowls? It’ll be the perfect thing to warm you up.”
“Okay,” You say, winking playfully before you take off running. “Last one there is paying!”
“H-hey! You got a head start, that’s cheating!”
Shinjiro Aragaki
“Okay, and now we wait…” You mumble quietly, putting a tray of chocolates into the fridge.
You’re currently in the kitchen, attempting to make a batch of chocolate for Valentine’s Day. Well, before the end of the day that is. Yes, you were a bit late, but for good reasons. Shinjiro was always away from the dorms so you couldn’t really ask for his preferences in sweets. At this point, it wasn’t any secret who you were making these for since you had to ask the other SEES members for information. Interestingly enough, there was no one in the dorms so you figured they all had plans for today.
You let out a sigh as you lean against the counter. To be honest, you weren’t exactly sure what led you to make chocolates for him. Maybe curiosity? Despite having been a part of the team  for a while, you barely knew anything about him. You weren’t the most stealthy person; so when you tried to follow Shinjiro once, he immediately caught you and told you to go back to the dorms. You did try to follow him again a few times after that, but of course failed. He didn’t seem much for conversation either so you never really talked to him, but you suppose you should have tried harder if you were really curious about him.
Just then the dorm doors open and you step out of the kitchen to see who it is.
“Oh, you’re back early today.” You say, seeing Shinjiro walk inside.
He looks up at you then averts his gaze. “Yeah.” He glances around. “...it’s quiet today. Guess you’re the only one here?”
“Mhm, looks like everyone has plans.”
Shinjiro stays quiet for a moment then looks at you again. “Are you making chocolate? I smelled it when I came in.”
You nod. “I’m just waiting for it to harden. Want to wait with me? I could use the company, and you could be my taste tester.”
He lets out a sigh, stuffing his hands in his jacket pockets. “I might as well. Not like I got anything better to do.”
“Perfect!”
You turn on your heel, walking back into the kitchen as Shinjiro joins you. Once he steps into the kitchen, his attention is drawn to the bowls on the counter. “You added filling?”
“Yeah, it’s dark chocolate so I figured it would be a nice contrast. You aren’t allergic to raspberries are you?”
“No.”
After that curt response, silence fills the space. Well, this was more awkward than you wanted it to be. Your gaze falls onto the bowls and you walk over, picking one up and bringing it to the sink.
“Uh, do you want to dry these after I wash them?”
Shinjiro only nods as he picks up a drying cloth and you start washing the bowls. It's only when you hand him a bowl to dry that he says something.
“...So, I heard you've been asking about me.”
You freeze slightly, then you chuckle. “Yeah, I have. Let me guess… Junpei?”
“Yeah.” Shinjiro sighs. “Y’know, if you wanted to know about me… you could’ve just asked.”
“I know. I just didn’t want to bother you.”
“You could just say you were intimidated.”
“No-no! I wasn’t. I’m not…well, maybe a little, but I was only asking the other members for good reasons.” You say handing him the last bowl. You turn off the faucet and dry your hands. “Those chocolates in the fridge are for you.”
Shinjiro looks at you in surprise. “Me?
“Yeah, I guess you can consider them as… friendship chocolates? I was wondering what you liked in terms of sweets so I was asking around. I guess I went with raspberry filling since it's close to the color of your jacket.”
He looks at his jacket. “...I guess.” He sets the bowl down along with the towel and leans against the counter. “Well, next time, you can just ask me. We’re teammates right? You don’t have to be scared to ask me stuff. It’s not like I’ll bite or anything.”
You laugh a bit. “Right, I’ll keep that in mind.” Your gaze turns towards the clock and you walk towards the fridge. “I think they might be done now.”
You take the tray out and set it on the table, touching one of the chocolates to see if it’s solid. You nod happily and pick one up to give to Shinjiro. “Here!”
Instead of taking it with his hand, he leans his head down to pick it up with his mouth. You freeze once again when his gaze meets yours, then he raises his head, chewing the chocolate.
“Hm, not bad. This is your first time making it right?”
“O-oh, um yes.” You say, glancing away from him.
“Next time, you should try to add more cocoa powder for the bitterness. You were going for dark chocolate, yeah?”
“Yeah, I wasn’t sure how much to add.”
You feel his hand fall on top of your head as he ruffles your hair. “We can make them together next time then. Don’t look so down.”
You smile, “I look forward to it then.”

Persona (game of your choice depending which is more fitting) gang's reaction to the Reader using a cardboard box by hiding himself within the box and remaining inconspicuous, and also uses it to escape the notice of enemy sentries and surveillance cameras (Basically like Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid)
A/N: Hi Anon! Thanks for requesting! So so sorry this took so long! This is my first time doing a character reaction request but I hope you enjoyed it! Had a lot of fun doing this one, so please feel free to request more!
Word Count: 2765
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Akira
Akira wouldn’t be fazed at all. Maybe just a bit surprised on the inside, but on the outside, a blank stare or maybe a small smirk of amusement. He would wonder where you hid the box though. Under your coat? No, there’s no way you could hide a box of that size under your coat. How did you carry it anyways? Whenever you would hide, the box always seemed to pop out of thin air. But even though your hiding methods were peculiar, the box did serve its purpose.
Besides Futaba, Akira was the first person to join you in your box hiding shenanigans. He was always looking for new things to test out while exploring palaces and this method proved to be fun. You could see the glint of mischief in his eyes as he would pull a box out of thin air and hide under it. As a Shadow approached, Akira would stand up, letting the box fly off of him. The Shadow would notice and immediately charge at him, weapon drawn. Then just as quickly as before, Akira would pull out another box and  hide himself under it. You could hear him chuckle as you watch the Shadow look around in bewilderment. The glint of mischief, the tiny glimpse of a smirk that you saw before he hid back under the box; it was just like a cat toying with a mouse.
Ryuji
He would be the one who would loudly shout “what the hell” and end up making you all retreat from the palace. But honestly Ryuji would probably get the reference. He probably never played the series before but he’s most likely seen it in memes and such.
"Oh they're doing that hiding under the box thing!" (Futaba would probably get offended by this remark.)
At first Ryuji would find the idea dumb. There’s no way that hiding under a box would actually work, right? It was huge, and stuck out like a sore thumb. Even he would be able to notice that it was out of place in the palace. But once he sees that the Shadows completely ignore the box, Ryuji would eventually use it to his advantage. Like Akira, Ryuji would also want to test his luck with the shadows. The first idea he had was to sneak up behind the Shadows, put the box over their head and ambush them from behind. A lot of extra work to do when you could just normally ambush them but it put a smile on Ryuji's face whenever he pulled it off.
Ann
Much like Ryuji, she’d probably be surprised when she sees you hide under the box, but she’d be more composed about it. Ann wouldn't normally want to hide under a box, but she would do it if it meant staying undetected and not having to leave the palace. She might complain a bit at first, since it seemed to be a hassle having to lay on the ground; but she’ll quickly get used to it.
One time while you all were taking a break in the safe room, you noticed Ann drawing faces on her box. When you asked her about it, she told you that she thought the faces would bring more life to it. You had to agree, the doodles were cute. So then you started drawing on your box too, and eventually all of the Phantom Thieves were doing it. It turned out to be a neat little stress reliever from exploring. But somehow, it ended up turning into a competition of whose box looked the best and you were appointed as the judge. As a joke, you voted for Ryuji which ended up making Yusuke snap a paintbrush in half.
Yusuke
Yusuke wouldn’t have much of a reaction to be honest. Just like his reaction to Morgana the first time, Yusuke would just see it as something normal. To him, it’d just be your way of escaping enemy surveillance. Yusuke probably would also come up with different ideas of using the box. Seeing Akira and Ryuji attempt their ideas made him curious. If he painted on the boxes would they become noticed by the Shadows? The answer was no, as the paint only added some flair. Interestingly enough this led to Yusuke collaborating with Futaba on an idea she had. With Akira’s permission and yours, you ended up being an art project. Specifically, Futaba wanted to have Yusuke paint the boxes and sculpt them in a way that could be worn like a costume.
Within a few days, you showed up at the hideout inside of a beautifully painted cardboard costume of Futaba’s favorite Featherman. Yusuke and Futaba were proud of their collaborative creation; both of them explained the details that went into it. The rest of the Phantom Thieves were impressed to say the least, that was until you all went into Mementos. The costume was meticulously detailed, the paint gave off a very metallic feel for something made out of cardboard. The only problem was that you couldn’t move very well in it. When Makoto asks how Yusuke and Futaba got you to LeBlanc, they pull out a hand trolley that they used to wheel you there. Although the use of the costume was short-lived and never got to see any action, it neatly sits in Futaba’s room for the time being. Who knows, maybe one day you’ll actually be able to use it.
Makoto
Makoto would probably tell you to stop messing around at first. Saying something along the lines of “now isn’t the time to play hide-and-seek with the Shadows.” She apologizes to you for saying such a thing once she sees that the Shadows don’t pay any attention to the box. At first, Makoto wasn’t sure how to approach the situation. While yes, the box was actually an ingenious hiding method, but she had her doubts about it. Wouldn’t it just be easier to hide like you always did? The box did seem a bit inconvenient to pull out every time, and it did make ambushing enemies a bit slower.
It wasn’t until Akira called a meeting per Futaba’s request that Makoto’s doubts were… somewhat relieved to say the least. You all sat through a 2-hour presentation about the Metal Gear Solid series, Solid Snake and the possible pros and cons of using the box to hide while in Palaces. At the end of it, everyone’s attention turned to Akira as he sat in the back of the room, his arms crossed. The only thing he said was “Okay.” as he pushed his glasses up and gave Futaba a thumbs-up.  With a loud cheer from Futaba, the room filled with chatter as Makoto only sighed with a small smile. To be honest, now she was completely terrified of what this could possibly bring on. But, this should be fine for the most part right? After all, you guys were still young. You should still be allowed to have some fun while trying to change society.
Futaba
To say that Futaba was ecstatic when she saw you hide under the box, was an understatement. A very severe understatement. Like Ryuji, she lets out a loud cheer which ends up attracting the Shadows’ attention. Luckily there was a safe room right around the corner, so you and the Thieves duck into there. Once inside the safe room, Futaba would ask you a bunch of questions. Such as have you played the games and if so which was your favorite? Were you a 100% completionist or the type to play it once and be done with it? And so on and so forth. Futaba becomes a lot more invested in actual palace exploring rather than just navigating once the other Thieves start using the boxes to hide as well. She would beg Akira and Makoto to let her join in on ambushing Shadows. Even with all of the pleading from Futaba, they deny her request. This rejection ended up being futile anyway since you suggested that she join you in a Showtime Attack. And no one could stop you, not even Akira. Let’s just say that your Showtime was… too chaotic for anyone to stop you.
After that, you’d always hang out at Futaba’s place, playing different games with her. Eventually it got to the point where Futaba would end up hosting small game parties in Akira’s room. It was friendly at first, just you all playing games together. At least it was friendly, until Ryuji suggested Mario Kart. Akira jokingly refers to that night as “the night the Phantom Thieves almost broke up.” You guys don’t mention that night. Ever.
Haru
Haru’s reaction would be similar to Yusuke’s, she wouldn’t see much wrong with it. In fact Haru would find the idea very cute. Hiding under the box and then ambushing an unsuspecting Shadow? What fun! Everytime Haru would pop out from underneath the box, she’d have a bright smile on her face as she swung her axe down. She also probably played a part in trying to convince Makoto that using the boxes to your advantage was a good thing.
In any case, Haru enjoyed the box method, if anything she was one of the people who really showed the advantage of it. She’d carry Morgana in one of the boxes if neither of them were chosen to be in the team lineup for the day. Seeing as the Shadows don’t notice the box, Haru would suggest that she wanted to try something. Of course, Akira gives the okay and before Morgana can even process what’s happening, Haru tosses the box towards a Shadow, leading to a successful ambush. She apologizes to Morgana for not warning him, and promises to warn him next time. He wanted to reject the promise, never wanting to be thrown again, but he couldn't bring himself to say no to Haru. This would end up being a mistake on his part as Haru came up with new ways to ambush Shadows. One of them included sliding the box with Morgana in it across the floor like a bowling ball. This soon became his least favorite thing about Palace exploration but as long as it was only Haru that was doing it, he was fine. There was no telling what hell the rest of you would unleash if he allowed them the same permission.
Morgana
Just like Makoto, Morgana would also tell you to stop messing around. He’d tell you that you’d have time to play after you all were done exploring the Palace. Of course once he sees that the Shadows ignore the box, he doesn’t say much about it anymore. He’d actually become intrigued about how it worked. Morgana knew that the effect of cognition was strong, seeing as that the guns you all used were actually loaded when inside of Palaces. But could that effect actually extend to making a box unnoticeable by the Shadows? It was just an ordinary box, what was so special about it? He’d ask you about it, wondering if it had something to do with your cognition of the box. The first answer you provided was that you had no clue of how it worked. After you thought about it some, your 2nd answer was that it was simply the will of the game mechanic. Morgana figured it was best to just let the conversation die there after that.
Morgana is most likely one of the only members of the team who doesn’t use the box that often. Well, more like even if he wanted to, he can’t. The box was a one-size fit all type of thing, that is for humans. When Futaba and Haru tried to convince him to join them, he refused at first. He was already fast enough to ambush normally, so adding the box would just be an extra step and a waste of energy. But of course, they kept trying to convince him, saying that it was a team spirit thing. Morgana would never admit it, but he was glad that Futaba and Haru wanted to include him in it; even if it was something as silly as this. Well, he was happy until the box he pulled out was the same size as the ones you all used. It was almost as if he pulled out a comically large spoon. It didn’t help when the box fell on top of him and he popped out from underneath it and everyone simultaneously said “aww”.
Akechi
Pre-third semester Akechi would just go along with it. If he needed a place to hide, he would hide under a box. He'd be a bit confused when he first sees you hide under it and then even more perplexed when the rest of the Phantom Thieves follow your lead. But he understands that it proves to be useful when you get yourselves in a tight spot.
Now with third semester Akechi, he would absolutely loathe having to hide under the box. That would be the last thing he would resort to if he had no other choice. Even if you tried to force him under it to avoid having to retreat from the palace, he would try to brute force his way through the enemies. He’d still see the usefulness of hiding underneath it, but he much rather fight than hide at this point. To your disappointment, Akechi tends to try and avoid any situation that could possibly lead him into having to hide. However, on the rare off-chance that the situation is unavoidable, Akechi scowls when he has to pull out the box.  You and the other Phantom Thieves can't help but laugh a bit when you see him throw the box off angrily as he stands up and simply continues navigating through the palace.
Sumire
Sumire’s reaction would be similar to Ann’s, surprised at first but quickly regains composure. She would ask you a lot of questions, mainly due to her wanting to do everything in her power to help the Phantom Thieves. Even if it was a bit bizarre to her at first, Sumire would just go with the flow. She didn’t question it and if anything thought it was fun. To her, it was somewhat of a team bonding sort of thing. Everyone followed your lead when the situation called for it, well some did it reluctantly, but Sumire felt as if it brought the team closer together.
Since she was a new addition to the team, Sumire was excited to learn and help out in any way possible. She’d watch you guys do different tactics to ambush the enemies, then she’d do it herself. You couldn’t help but be proud of her when she turned around after the battle asking “Senpai, did I do it correctly?” Eventually Sumire came up with her own ideas of ambushing while using the box to hide; she even pushed for Akechi to join in on the fun as well. Of course he refused, and then Sumire asked for everyone’s help in trying to convince him. She wanted him to feel like a part of the team, and also maybe show a genuine smile. In the end, he begrudgingly agreed. It was fine until Akechi started getting a bit too… creative you could say. In a sense the “jump” in creativity could be due to your convincing statement that the box ‘was just another way to strike fear into the heart of your enemies’. Yeah, not the best thing you could have said, but it sure did the trick.
Soon, Akechi was having a little too much fun with using the box to ambush that it put the whole team on edge. You were beginning to think that it was a bad idea. A very bad idea seeing that Akechi’s antics only got more violent as time went on. One day Sumire decided to copy Akechi, an idea that you, along with everyone else, advised against. But of course she reassured you all, saying that if anything this would make things less tense. And so, Sumire copied one of Akechi’s methods; it didn’t have the exact murderous intent that Akechi had but it was a good effort. Akechi only stared at Sumire when she asked if she did it correctly. It surprised all of you when he laughed and told her it was a good attempt and that he’d gladly teach her how to do it properly. Well, at least Sumire was right in that the box ambushing brought the team closer together.
Is it ok if I request an Akira scenario where he's helping Y/N achieve her 'true persona'? How would he react when she achieves her persona? Or, different case scenario, how would Y/N react to Akira's "new form" when he gains HIS persona. dunno if this would work out, I've kinda forgot parts of the plot of Persona so I don't rlly remember where or when exactly this happened-
A/N: Hi anon! I'm so so sorry this took so long! I hope you enjoy!
Word Count: 2427
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wish (Akira Kurusu x Fem!Reader)
You let out a sigh as you stare at your phone, occasionally typing some words and then deleting them a few seconds later. Tomorrow, the Phantom Thieves were going to steal Maruki’s treasure and fix reality once and for all. You were a bit nervous, but you had faith that things would turn out the way you hoped. The only thing that was bothering you however… was Akira. Besides the short conversations you had with the team during palace exploration, you hadn’t talked to him outside of that. You really wanted to, but you just couldn’t bring yourself to text or call him.
It was silly honestly. He was your boyfriend, yet here you were unable to talk to him. When you two first started dating, Akira told you that he would always be there for you, no matter what. Whether you needed to vent, talk or just wanted his company, he’d be there. Yet what about you? You hadn’t been there for him when he started the infiltration on Maruki’s palace. You had a hunch that things weren’t right from the start of the New Year, yet you couldn’t bring yourself out of that ‘perfect reality’. You wanted things to stay like that, even if he wasn’t by your side. Even if that was what you wanted the most.
Suddenly your phone rings, playing a ringtone you knew far too well. You glance at the screen seeing Akira's name and you answer hesitantly.
"Are you using our text messages as your grocery list again?" He asks.
“Wha- no, why would you ask that?”
“Well, you were taking a long time to type so I just figured you were typing your grocery list out.”
“I wasn’t typing out my grocery list for your information. Shopping’s the last thing on my mind right now.” You sigh. “Anyways, how’d you know I was typing? Were you waiting for me to text you?”
Akira chuckles, “I mean when your girlfriend suddenly cuts you off, a guy can’t help but wonder if he did something wrong.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong, Akira. It’s just… you know things have been hectic. We’ve been so busy lately with Maruki and everything else.”
“So busy that you can’t talk to me?”
You stay silent. He was right after all. Akira had made sure you all finished planning out a path to the treasure long before the deadline. You had plenty of time to talk to him, but you just felt guilty every time you thought about it.
“Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.” He sighs. “It’s just… I miss you;, you know? We’ve barely talked since this whole thing started. And I’m not blaming you, it’s my fault too but if there’s something wrong, I want you to tell me.”
“I know, and I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you worry. I know it’s late, but I want to talk to you… can I come over?”
“No need, I’m already heading your way. Just wait for me, okay?”
“Okay.”
You hang up and put your phone down on the couch next to you. You were glad that he called but you also felt terrible. The last thing you wanted to do was make him worry, make him feel as if he did something wrong. You hated hearing him like that. Sure, you two had your fights sometimes but this was different. Not only did you betray his trust, but you broke your own promise to him.
Akira must have been closer than you expected because a few minutes later you hear a knock on the door. You go to open it, greeting him with a smile. “Hey.”
“Hey.” He replies a bit out of breath. “You weren’t waiting long, were you?”
“Please tell me you didn’t run here.”
“I didn’t. Definitely not.”
You roll your eyes as you pull him inside and close the door behind him. “Liar. Come on in, before you catch a cold.”
Akira chuckles, “I only did what you told me to. Besides, I was going to show up uninvited, but I’m glad I called you first.”
“So that’s why you said you were already headed over… Well, thank you for calling first.” You clear your throat. “Anyways, um, sit down. Would you like some tea or hot chocolate?”
He shakes his head, “No thanks.” Then he takes a seat on the couch, patting the empty space next to him. “Come here. You don’t have to be so nervous.”
“I’m not nervous…” you mumble as you sit down next to him. “Okay maybe a little, but it’s just because we haven’t talked like this in a while. Like… a serious conversation like this.”
“Would you believe me if I told you I was nervous too?”
“No. You’re always so calm and collected. If you are, I can’t tell.”
“Then here,” Akira says, taking your hand and placing it over his heart. Even through his winter coat, you could feel his heart beating at a quick, steady pace. You glance up, meeting his gaze as he smiles softly. “Now, do you believe me?”
You nod, unable to tear your eyes away from him. Just how lucky were you to have someone like him in your life? Someone that easily washed away the doubts in your mind with a single action. Someone that was so kind to you even after how you treated him. With a simple action and a smile that melted your heart, Akira washed your guilt away. It’s hard to believe that your ‘perfect reality’ didn’t have him by your side.
“If you keep staring at me like that, we might not get any talking done at all.”
Drawn out of your thoughts, you quickly pull your hand away from Akira’s chest. “S-sorry, I was just thinking…”
“It’s okay. Still nervous?”
You shake your head. “Nope, nerves are all gone. Thank you.” With a deep breath, you start. “Well, first of all, I wanted to apologize for how I’ve been these past few weeks. I didn’t mean to cut you off like that, and my intention wasn’t to make you think you did something wrong. It’s just… I felt guilty.”
“Guilty?”
“Mhm… the truth is, I knew from the beginning that this reality was off. I’m not sure how I knew, it was just a hunch really. But, instead of telling you, I pretended to not know. It’s just seeing everyone so happy… it wouldn’t feel right taking that away. Yet in the end, I guess we all made up our minds anyway…” You look down at your hands, fiddling with the hem of your shirt. “The main thing is that I should’ve been there when you first infiltrated Maruki’s palace. And yet I wasn’t. Despite you always being there for me, I couldn’t even be there for you…”
“So you knew…”
You nod, feeling Akira’s gaze. You knew that if you looked at him, you might just end up crying. He didn’t sound mad, if anything it was more surprise and slight disappointment. To be honest, you weren’t sure why you made that choice of not telling him. Maybe it was just how you were, you always had a habit of hiding things from people, even if you didn’t mean to.
To your surprise he ruffles your hair, and you look up, seeing him smile. “I’m not upset. So don’t look so sad. I’m a bit hurt that you didn’t tell me, but it sounds like you had your reasons, right?”
“...yeah. I didn’t want to see our friends have what they wanted the most taken away from them.”
“And what did you want? You probably weren’t affected by Maruki’s reality because you didn’t have it.”
“I…” You hesitate. Would it be selfish of you to say what you wanted? He was already right here next to you. Just like you wanted originally. However, voicing your thoughts aloud was different. If you told him, what would he think?
“There’s that look again.” Akira says with a small chuckle as his gaze turns towards the ground. “It’s okay, you don’t have to tell me now. Or ever, if you don’t really want to. But just know that whatever it was, it wasn’t selfish of you to think that way… I mean, all of us, me included, we have our selfish ways, don’t we? That’s why this ‘perfect reality’ came about anyways.”
It wasn't often, but very rarely you saw this type of expression on Akira. It was distant, but there was also a feeling of longing. As if he was trying to come to terms with something.
“...perfect reality…” You mumble quietly. Then your eyes widen in realization.
Tonight was the last day for Maruki to contact Akira. You felt stupid for forgetting something so important. Then you look at Akira. Did he have that same look throughout all of this? That look of loneliness? That look easily told you who else was on his mind.
"Maruki contacted you… right? To be honest it slipped my mind… even though it was something so important."
Akira nods. "Yeah, he contacted me."
"And Akechi was there too?"
He looks at you surprised. "How did you-"
"The look on your face. The last time I saw you with that expression was when he died. You two were really close, huh?"
“...yeah.” Akira sighs. “Somehow, Maruki heard of what happened to him and in order to give us another chance at being friends, this reality came to life.” Akira runs his hands through his hair. “If we don’t go through with taking back our reality… Akechi will be alive, and if we don’t… well the answer is obvious.”
You stay silent, not sure of what to say. What could you say to this?
“It’s a lot to take in, right? You’d think it’d be a simple decision after everything. But when someone’s life is being used like that…like a bargaining chip… it just feels wrong.” Akira shakes his head slightly and glances at you. “What would you do if you were me?”
There was that expression again. How were you supposed to answer him when such a sorrowful expression painted his face?
“I…” You begin hesitantly, trying to find the words to say. “I’d go through with what we started. Of course, using someone’s life like that is just wrong, but I think it’d be best if we went through with it. I think Akechi wouldn’t be able to stand knowing that we turned our backs on what we originally planned to do. If we did that… it’d just seem like his sacrifice in Shido’s palace was for nothing… at least that’s how I feel.”
Akira chuckles, “Sounds about right.” He sits up, leaning his head back to stare at the ceiling. “I thought the exact same thing.”
“You already gave Maruki your answer then… So why ask for my opinion?”
He hums in thought, a smile appearing on his face. “Because your opinion is important to me. Why do you think I was in such a rush to get here, to talk to you? During this whole thing, I’ve heard everyone’s opinions on what they thought we should do about this reality. Yet the one person whose opinion I wanted to hear the most, the person whose opinion is the most important to me, never contacted me to talk.” Akira turns to you, a soft expression on his face. “You know I’ll always be here for you right? No matter what. So don’t keep your feelings or thoughts locked inside.”
You blink a couple of times, feeling tears start to prick at your eyes again. You chuckle slightly as you look away from him. “You sure do have a way with words. Makes sense that you’re our leader…” With a sigh you face him with a smile. “I’ve made up my mind. No more keeping to myself. It wouldn't be fair to you, making you worry. I want to be someone you can rely on too.”
You couldn’t explain it but somehow, you felt different after you told Akira that. As if your soul felt stronger somehow, as if a voice in your head told you that you had changed. You weren’t exactly sure what this feeling was, but you knew that you wanted to give back to Akira after all he’s done for you.
You hear him chuckle, about to say something but you place a finger on his lips. “Nope, I know what you’re gonna say. That you already rely on me for a lot, but let me have this okay? I want to trust in this feeling that I have, that I can be stronger for you and the team. If I can’t truly confide in you, then who am I to even wish for you?”
“You… So that was your wish?”
“I-” Your face reddens in embarrassment as you take your hand away from his face and avert your gaze. You didn’t even realize what you had said.
“Oh, what happened to ‘no more keeping to myself’?” Akira teases. “C’mon, be honest now.”
Your face reddens even more as you look down at your hands, mumbling slightly. “I wished for you.”
“One more time? I couldn’t quite hear you.”
“I wished for you! There, happy?” You shout as you look at Akira. He had the widest smirk on his face. You grab the pillow next to you and smother him with it. “Wipe that grin off your face…”
“What? A guy can’t be happy that his girlfriend wished for him? You don’t have to be so embarrassed. Y’know it’s cute that you’d wish for something you already have.”
“Just please… shut up.”
He laughs and suddenly you feel his hands on yours as he lowers the pillow so he can look at you. “But seriously, I’m really happy you told me, even though you said it without realizing. You said it with such conviction, I wasn’t sure if I heard you correctly. You feel… stronger.”
“Yeah, yeah. You’re just saying that to make me feel better.”
“Mm, I think I can prove otherwise.”
You laugh as you look up, meeting his eyes again. “Yeah? And how can you-”
In one swift motion, Akira closes the gap between the two of you, his lips pressing onto yours. It was quick and sweet; you didn’t even have the time to react with how fast it happened.
As he leans his forehead against yours, you can hear him whisper, a bit of playfulness laced in his voice. “Believe me now?”
- Ryuji Sakamoto x Akechi’s Sibling! Reader
“You...actually know my name?”
“I know that. I’m just... I thought you... argh, just forget it.”
“Oh come on, you can’t just start a sentence and not finish it. Tell me.”
“I just thought you were one of those types of people. Y’know, the ones who...care about themselves and no one else.”
Part One | Part Two
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ever since your little outing with Childe, your weekly sparring sessions with each other felt...different.
You’d find yourself wanting to talk more with him during your breaks. Hearing about his hometown, his family. All the while, his eyes would sparkle as he talked about them. You’d sit next to him quietly while he fished, but recently he’d always start up a conversation with you; mainly regarding on how you were doing with your fighting style ideas and about your hobbies.
“What do I do for fun?” You ask, surprised at the question.
“Yeah, any hobbies? I mean you must do something other than meeting me every week to spar.”
You avert your gaze from Childe, turning your focus to the ocean in front of you. “I... go for walks.”
“Walks?”
“Yep.”
Childe bursts out laughing as you glare at him, your face red from embarrassment. “What’s so funny?”
“You couldn’t come up with a better excuse? Maybe that just shows how much you enjoy our sparring sessions.”
“It’s not an excuse. I just...walk around looking at people fight.”
“Huh, you might be more of a fighting addict than I am.”
“Am not. Unlike you, I don’t try to pick a fight with everyone I come across. I was just...you know, looking for that spark.”
Childe hums in response, “Looks like that led you to me. Quite lucky if I do say so myself.”
You wryly smile, “Sure, sure, lucky me. I suppose you’re not too bad. For Fatui standards at least.”
“Heh, if you keep saying things like that, we might just have to cut our break short.”
“Maybe...” You say a bit absentmindedly as a question comes to mind. “Can I ask you something?”
“Sure.” He says, casting the line on his fishing rod into the open sea.
“What made you want to join the Fatui? I mean, it’s just that your nature doesn’t really fit in with them.”
“That so? What about my nature doesn’t fit in with them?”
“...Your kindness.”
Childe glances at you as you continue to explain.
“I’ve said it before, but I realized it when we played hide & seek with those kids at Liyue Harbor. Maybe it’s because you miss your siblings but... despite the line of work you find yourself in, you make it point to show kindness to those around you. Even to someone like me who disliked you in the beginning.”
“Are you sure I wasn’t just being nice to you because you were a pretty face?”
“Hey, I’m being serious here. Besides, I’m pretty sure the Fatui don’t let anyone off the hook because they have a nice face.”
Childe chuckles, “Okay, okay, you got me there. Anything else you want to add? I do love getting these types of compliments from you.”
Rolling your eyes, you stand up. “Alright, break time’s over. I’m in the mood to kick your butt again.”
“Well, you are certainly allowed to try.”
------------------------------
About two weeks later, you meet Childe at the Golden House for your weekly session. You were a bit confused as to why, but Childe only met you with a smile, saying that you’d see next week. So here you were, standing outside of the Golden House, making sure you were far away enough so the Millileth couldn’t see you.
“Psst. Y/N, over here.”
Turning around, you see Childe pop his head out of a bush.
Before you can even ask why the two of you are here, he simply gestures for you to follow him, mentioning something about a secret entrance to get in.
You find yourself by the side of the building as Childe effortlessly jumps up onto the roof. He holds out a hand to help you up, which you take, and he pulls you up. To your surprise, there’s a small trapdoor on the roof which Childe opens and jumps down into the building.
You almost yell at him for being careless, knowing how far the drop is from the roof to the ground, but you stop yourself when you see him land perfectly on the ground.
“Hop on down! I’ll be sure to catch you.”
You hesitate, looking down at the distance from the roof to the ground where Childe stood.
“C’mon, surely you aren’t afraid of heights?”
You shake your head, speaking nervously, “Of course not... but... you will catch me, right?”
“I promise.”
Childe grins and you jump down, a few seconds later you land in his arms.
“You can open your eyes now Y/N.” He says chuckling, as he lets you down.
You step onto the ground, averting your gaze from Childe when you see him smirk, “Thanks. So... what exactly are we doing here?”
“Well, let’s just say I got a bit impatient waiting for you.”
Puzzled, you look at him, only to be met with a blade of water coming inches near your face. You’re taken by surprise, so a scratch appears on your face as you step back.
Childe laughs with a grin, “That look on your face, you look as if you were about to be killed.”
“Well, you did attack with that intention, but I see what you’re trying to do.” You say pulling your weapon out. “Guess the best way to spur on some ideas is a surprise attack.”
“Glad you caught on. Just hope you’re prepared; I’m going all out today.”
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
With that, you run towards Childe, slashing your weapon upwards as he blocks with his blades. To your surprise, he switches forms, turning his blades back into a bow. It almost feels like the both of you are moving in slow motion as your eyes meet.
Using one arm to push against your weapon with his bow, Childe seemingly conjures up an arrow in his other hand and draws the string back. With the way the bow is positioned, the tip of the arrow points at your forehead. You attempt to push your weapon a bit more, trying to move the arrow’s path away from your head, but to no avail.
You can see Childe wink at you as he suddenly pushes the bow upwards, shooting a hydro arrow that is sure to fall back to the ground and land on you. Drawing your weapon back, you dash forward and thrust your palm into Childe’s face. A burst of Electro flashes as you feel your hand hit his face. You take this chance to swing your weapon down, but he’s no longer standing in front of you. Suddenly you feel a hard kick to your back, and you roll to the ground, coughing as you hear Childe chuckle.
“Playing dirty, are we?” He says, wiping some blood from his mouth.
Wincing a bit, you stand up with a laugh, “Oh, I’m just getting started. C’mon now pretty boy, is that all you got? I might start falling asleep over here.”
Childe smiles as Electro begins to spark around him, “I was going to save this for later, but since you seem bored, we’ll take things up a notch.”
You watch as his body transforms, a large one-eyed mask dons his face, and his body seemingly grows larger as dark purple armor covers it. Standing in front of him made you feel like an ant, but similarly to when you first met, your heart was pulsing with excitement. You wanted to win this fight.
Your vision glows as your weapon becomes imbued with Electro and you summon an Electro blade in your other hand.
He appears in front of you with a flash of purple as his Electro polearm swings down towards you and bursts of Hydro shoot up from the ground. You counter his attack, pushing against the polearm with your weapons. You grit your teeth as you can feel how much stronger Childe is in this new form. You can feel yourself being pushed back slowly and suddenly a flash of purple appears in front of you as you’re knocked off your feet and tumble to the ground.
Childe had dashed using Electro and now appears above you, his weapon coming in fast as he plunges towards the ground. You feel around quickly for your weapon only to notice it flew across the room. You roll onto your back, summoning Electro weapons and brace yourself for impact, hoping that this wouldn’t kill you.
Your weapons clash against each other as Childe lands on the ground with a force that is strong enough to shake mountains. The pressure on your chest is almost enough to crush your lungs as you struggle to push the point of the polearm away. Your vision begins to blur, and your eyes begin to tear as you attempt to clear your mind. You could feel your arms beginning to give out as your mind scrambles for a solution.
Think Y/N. Think. How do you get out of this? You’re not strong enough to push him back and within a few seconds you’ll probably lose consciousness. Is there any way to distract him somehow? Wait, distract him…
You think back to your conversation with Childe a few weeks ago. You told him that as a pastime you often just walked around Liyue looking at people fight. You picked up some skills from observing them, so maybe, just maybe your idea would work.
You force your eyes open as you focus all your strength into your vision. Your gaze falls onto the ceiling, and you silently pray that this works. A few seconds pass as you feel Childe push his weapon down with more force and you grin as you see two flashes of Electro above.
Every time you came across someone’s fighting style you liked, you always made a point to practice it, Childe’s included. The truth is, you were always working at this skill, but it would always fail no matter how hard you tried. Making mirages of yourself do different combat skills was difficult. You always practiced it after your training sessions with Childe, and every time you did there was improvement. It was just a matter of perfecting it before you were going to finally tell him you wanted to fight him at his full power. Sure, the day came way sooner than you expected, but seeing that your hard work finally paid off made you ecstatic.
The two mirages come crashing down onto Childe’s back as he lets out a grunt and flings them off. You take the opportunity to get up as you stand with your mirages at your side. You once again focus your power into your vision, seeing as Childe was still stunned from the attack.
Your mirages overlap with your own body as you start charging up a powerful attack. As Electro courses through you, you can’t help but grin and look at Childe.
“Checkmate.”
You slash forward with your weapon, and it sends Childe flying. You jump up, flashing through the air as a purple spark and plunge your weapon down near his head as you fall back to the ground. The air whips around your face as you fall quickly due to your vision still coursing through your body. With a loud crash and dust rising from the ground, you hold your blade against his neck as you breathe heavily.
Although only a few seconds pass, it feels like an eternity before Childe finally speaks as his transformation disappears, his dark blue eyes are staring into yours.
"Breathtaking."
"What?"
"You. You are breathtaking."
You can’t think of a response as your brain is trying to figure out the meaning behind his words. Then suddenly he leans his head forward just a bit to meet your lips. It only lasts for a few seconds before he lays his head down again, but you can feel your heart about to pop out of your chest.
A few more seconds of silence pass and then Childe speaks up with a sigh. “Looks like you beat me again.”
 “Again?”
“Yeah, I fell for you first, and you beat me in a fight just now.”
Your face flushes red as you avert your gaze from him. “I guess so… but, who’s to say I didn’t fall first?”
Childe raises an eyebrow as he grins, “Ohoho, Y/N, have you been in love with me this whole time? I’m flattered.”
“I still have a weapon in my hand, you know.”
“Touché. But… I’ll say this now. I love you Y/N.”
You look into Childe’s eyes, and you can tell he’s being serious. With a sigh, you dissolve your weapon and cup his face in your hands. You lean in, pressing your lips against his and pull away a few seconds later.
“I love you too.”

Home (Drabble)
A/N: I’ve been on a long hiatus but I’m back with a short drabble inspired by Enna Alouette’s song Birds of Time. This isn’t intended for any specific character, but I wouldn’t mind writing a longer fic.
Word Count: 269
C/W: Angst
---------------------------------------
Cold.
That’s what you felt as your limp body was picked up and gently placed on their back. As your eyes struggled to stay open, you hear them speak.
“You have to stay awake for me, okay? I’m not letting you close your eyes until we get home. You’re going to be just fine.”
Home.
A word that filled you with a warm feeling. A place that held all the precious memories you loved. A thought that was always on your mind. Home.
As warmth continues to fade away from your body, you slip off of their back, landing into the cold snow. Blood seeps into the snow, painting it a scarlet red.
“Hey! Hey, honey, I need you to stay with me, okay? I need to take you home.” They yell, cupping your face gently in their hands.
You smile lightly, coughing a bit before weakly bringing your hand up to their face. “Home? I’m already home, silly.”
You feel tears fall onto your face as they quietly mumble that you need to stay awake as they try to pick you up again.
“Sweetie, stop. Please.” You softly say.
The tears keep on falling as their eyes meet yours and you gently stroke their hair. “You are my home. So please, don’t see me off with those sad eyes.”
Your hand slowly drifts to the ground, soon lying still beside you. With your final breath, you whisper a quiet “I love you” and your eyes finally close.
Stifled sobs can be heard as snow begins to fall again, and a single phrase drifts along the silence.
You’re home.

i read your childe ff and can i just say you’re an amazing writer bc you captured his character so accurately (the fight scene was so well written too) and i like how y/n is straight forward, i loved it so much so if you have time can you do a part 2 where y/n starts to have feelings for him? I’ll be looking forward to more of your works!!
A Dazzling Spectacle [2] (Childe x Reader)
A/N: Ahh, thank you so much Anon! It really means a lot to me knowing that I can write characters’ personalities accurately. I hope you enjoyed this 2nd part and feel free to request again!
Part One Here
Word Count: 2253
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Too slow! You gotta be faster than that if you want to beat me!”
“Argh, shut up!”
You swing your weapon as it comes centimeters close to Childe’s face but he only grins as he takes a step back.
“You know, getting angry is only making you slower.”
“Then you,” You dash forward, swinging your weapon downwards causing it to clash into Childe’s blades, “should stop being so annoying.”
Childe shrugs as he pushes his blades against your weapon. His strength is so strong that the force manages to push you to the ground. “And maybe you could be a little less predictable.”
You let out a sigh, hugging your weapon to your chest.
Since you met Childe that one day, the two of you have had weekly sparring sessions. You could feel yourself getting better at fighting, but creating that dazzling spectacle that Childe had every time he fought, was another problem.
“We can take a break; you look worn out.” Childe notes, sitting down next to you. “Something troubling you? You’re more irritated than usual.”
“You know I wonder why that is? Oh right, I have Mr. Pretty Boy over here edging me on.”
“Hey now, is it really me that’s edging you on or are you just letting my words get to you? Also, I’ll gladly take that compliment.”
Your face flushes from your comment but you roll your eyes. “Of course, it’s you. You and your...stupid face.”
Childe laughs, “And there’s the insult. Now then, what’s really going on in that pretty mind of yours?”
You turn to look at Childe, suddenly noticing how close he was to your face. You push his face away, averting your gaze from him. “You are very annoying. Besides, why do you care about what’s worrying me?”
“Am I not allowed to care about my sparring partner? If something is taking your focus away from me and the heat of battle, I do think I have the right to know.”
You set your weapon down beside you, glancing at Childe. “Well, I know you won’t stop bothering me about it, so I guess I’ll tell you. You better not laugh though.”
“I won’t. Promise.”
“I... I’m frustrated.”
“Frustrated?”
“It’s been 2 months since we started our weekly sparring sessions. I can feel myself getting better at fighting but... I’m nowhere close to making my fighting have that breathtaking illusion.”
“Well, for starters, you should try coming up with your own style of fighting. From what I can see, you’re trying too hard to copy me.”
“Copy you?”
“Yep. During these past few weeks, I noticed you’ve been mimicking the way I fight. But your Electro Vision does put some limitations on that.”
You let out a sigh. “I don’t even know where to start on trying to find my own style.” Then an idea comes to mind. “Oh, what if you fight me while using your Electro vision? That could give me some inspiration.”
Childe chuckles, rubbing the back of his neck. “Can’t do that now, wouldn’t want to lose my advantage in battle. However, I suppose we can make a deal.”
“A deal?”
“When you figure out your fighting style and manage to make that spectacle you’re looking for, I’ll tell you a little bit more about myself and use my full power our next fight. How about that?”
“Oh, so you have been holding back on me.”
“I didn’t say that now. I never hold back, especially against you.”
“Yeah right. Also, I’ll pass on learning more about you.”
“Rude. We’ve been meeting up for 2 months now and we’re still practically strangers.
You shrug, “Not my fault.”
“Says the one who immediately shuts me down when I try to ask anything about you.”
“Hm, unfortunate. Anyways, I’ll take you up on your deal. We can shake on it, so no take backs.”
To your surprise, Childe extends his pinky towards you.
“What are we, five?” You ask, giving Childe a weary look.
“You make a pinkie promise, you keep it all your life. You break a pinkie promise, I throw you on the ice. The cold will kill the pinkie that once betrayed your friend, the frost will freeze your tongue off so you never lie again.”
“A nursery rhyme?”
“My siblings and I would recite all the time back home. Consider this as me keeping my word to you.”
You let out a small sigh, hooking your pinky together with Childe’s. “Alright then, you better keep it.”
“I never break my promises,” Childe says with a grin. “Now then, what do you say we call it here for today and grab a bite to eat in Liyue Harbor? You do owe me for saving you that one time after all.”
“Don’t remind me. Well, it won’t hurt to get dinner I guess.”
“Perfect.”
Childe stands up quickly and takes off running towards the direction of the Harbor. “Last one there pays for our meal!”
“H-hey! That’s cheating!”
---------------------------------------------
Panting as you walk up to bridge to the Harbor, Childe greets you with a smile.
“Tired Y/N?”
“Heh, you think? That was cheating by the way. You got a head start.”
Childe shrugs, a smirk replaces the smile on his face. “True, although you really had no reason to worry. I was going to pay anyways.”
“And how was I supposed to know?”
“Well, maybe if you accepted my invitations all those times before, this could have been avoided.”
“You are a jerk.”
“As you’ve told me many times before, it wouldn’t hurt to get a new nickname though.”
“Whatever, so where to?” You ask as Childe begins walking, gesturing for you to match his pace.
“Luili Pavilion.”
“Wha- Luili Pavilion? There’s really no need for all that food.”
“I disagree. We did all that sparring today and you can’t tell me that it didn’t work up an appetite. Besides, who’s the one paying?”
You sigh, “You have a point.”
Silence settles between the two of you as you walk side-by-side past the shops and other people on the street. Since you started meeting Childe for your weekly sparring sessions, you noticed little things about him.
One thing was that he enjoyed fishing. You learned that the first week after meeting him. You didn’t question it when you had arrived on Yaoguang Shore, but once you saw Childe sit down and fish after your few rounds of sparring, you had to ask. He explained how his father used to tell him stories while they ice fished when he was young. Since he was on his own now, he used fishing as some sort of meditation. According to Childe’s words, it was his way of reflecting on his battles.
The other thing was that as a member of the Fatui, he sure stuck out. Of course, you noticed this when you first met. However, you’d be lying if you said you weren’t surprised to see Childe in a street act when walking through the streets of the Harbor one time.
He was odd to say the least. You didn’t know much about him, which was all due to your unwillingness to know more about him; however as much as you hated to admit it, he was right. The two of you knew practically knew nothing about each other, excluding the little things you would talk about during breaks from sparring.
You and Childe already acted as friends somewhat, so it was only normal to want to know him a bit better. Right?
-------------------------------------------------
“For someone who was objecting to all that food, you sure ate quite a lot.” Childe remarks as the two of you walk out of Luili Pavilion.
“It’s your fault for ordering so much. I didn’t want it to go to waste, that’s all.”
"Even though I'm the one who paid?"
"It doesn't matter if you or I paid. The chef made all that delicious food for us, so finishing it all would be the best way to show our appreciation."
"You're a very kind person aren't you Y/N?"
You chuckle a bit, "Is that what you think of me? Even after I've made no attempt to get to know you these past couple of months?'
"Well, you asked a lot of questions about my hometown and Snezhnaya during dinner. Besides, even if you treat me with unkindness, I can still tell you're a kind person."
“Well, you’re a kind person too, Childe.”
Childe freezes up for a second, his footsteps coming to a stop beside you. You’re about to ask what’s wrong when a group of kids run up to Childe.
“Mister you’re back!”
“Can we play hide and seek again?”
Regaining his composure, Childe bends down with a smile. “Hide and seek again? Will I be seeking again this time?”
“No, you’re too good at seeking.”
“And hiding.”
The kids nod in agreement and one of their gazes lands on you.
“Do you want to play with us?”
Surprised, you give a small smile. “Oh, um-”
“They’ll play.” Childe says grinning at you. “You do know how to play hide and seek right?”
“O-of course I do.”
“Great, you can be the seeker then. How long should we make them count for?”
“30 seconds!”
“No, 100!”
Childe stands up, “100 it is then.” He glances back at you, winking. “These kids are pretty good at hiding. Well, get to counting!”
With that, Childe and the group of kids run off in the opposite direction as you cover your eyes and begin counting to 100.
You sigh as you finish counting, removing your hands from your face. With 100 seconds, Childe and the kids could have hidden anywhere, especially when you consider how big the Harbor is.
You decide to check the docks first since that was the direction they headed in. You knew they probably would have changed their hiding spots within the 100 seconds, but it was worth it to check.
As you search around the docks, you look under every nook and cranny, making sure to cover every area. When you’re about to leave the docks to check elsewhere, you hear the quiet giggles and shushing of voices coming from the boats. You made it point to check all the boats, but perhaps you missed them at one point?
Peeking over a couple of boxes on the boats, you see Childe seated on the floor with the kids surrounding him. Little fish and whales made of water flow up and down as the kids watch them in awe.
Looking up Childe gives you a grin, “Huh, looks like we’ve been caught.”
The kids look up at you and begin to giggle again.
“I thought it would have taken longer to find you all. I didn’t expect you all to be hiding together.” You say.
“Well, that’s because Mister Tartaglia started making cool animals with his vision!”
“Yep, yep! It was super pretty, so we went around gathering everyone else to come look.”
“Thought you said these kids were good at hiding?” You ask, looking at Childe as he stands up.
“Well, thought I’d make it easy for you since it would have taken you forever to find us.”
“It wouldn’t have taken me forever. I’ll take you up on that challenge next time.”
Childe chuckles then bends down ruffling one of the kids’ head. “We’ll be back soon to play again, okay? Don’t cause your parents any trouble, now.”
The kids all nod in agreement, thanking you and Childe for playing with them and waving goodbye as the two of you wave back and walk away.
“I would have thought for sure you were the youngest out of your siblings.” You say glancing at Childe. “But seems like you’re an older brother.”
Childe nods with a soft smile. “Yeah, I have three younger siblings at home. Teucer, Tonia and Anton. I have two older siblings as well, but I often send presents and letters to the younger ones.”
“What a doting older brother. They’re fortunate to have you.”
“And as I am fortunate to have them. Well, what about you? Any siblings of yours to write home to?”
You shake your head. “No, it’s just me and my parents.”
“I see. Well, I’d like to meet them one day.”
“What?”
“To congratulate them on a job well done of raising you. You’re kind, strong. Passionate about the things you love.”
“Alright, I get it. I’ll be sure to tell them myself.” You say, averting your gaze from him. Clearing your throat, you look ahead. “Anyways, we should part ways. It’s getting late.”
“I can walk back with you.”
“No, thank you. Giving you the chance to find out where I live is asking for trouble. You would never stop bothering me and show up at my door at 3 A.M just to spar.”
“Sharp as always Y/N.”
“But I wouldn’t mind meeting up more often.” You mumble quietly.
“Oh, are you falling for me, Y/N?” Childe teases, grinning from ear to ear.
“I am not! We’re friends now so we might as well start meeting up more often.”
“Sure, sure. Keep telling yourself that. Well, then I’ll see you next week.”
Childe starts to walk away but before he does, he takes your hand, pressing a kiss to your knuckles. “Thanks for tonight, it was fun.”
Without another word he walks away, and you blink a couple of times before shaking your head slightly, a light blush on your face.
“See you next week.”
Can I make a p4 request? How would the investigation team react to their shadow selves coming into the real world as seperate people
Hi Anon,
It's been a while and I have tried working on your request but I haven't played much of Persona 4 yet. I have only gotten up to Kanji's Palace. Originally I was going to do Yu, Yosuke, Chie, and Yukiko and come back to the other team members later. However, I really struggled trying to do your request and felt as if I didn't know the characters well enough to try and gauge their reactions to the scenario. I didn't want to give you something that felt like I wasn't trying or taking your request seriously. Sorry about this but thank you for requesting. However, if you'd like to request something else, please feel free to do so.
Confession Rehearsal (Akira Kurusu x Reader)
A/N: Name based off of that one Honeywork’s song “Confession Rehearsal”. This was really fun to write!
Word Count: 1527
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“You want me to help you rehearse for the play?” Akira asks glancing up from his phone.
You clasp your hands together in front of you. “Please, Akira. You’re the only one I can ask.”
“Do I get anything out of it?” He asks, putting his phone down and crossing his arms.
“The title of 2nd best actor of the Phantom Thieves.”
“Make it best actor and I’ll reconsider.”
“Akira.”
“Y/N.”
Oh, how you wanted to wipe that smug grin off his face.
You let out a sigh, knowing that there was no changing Akira’s mind. “Alright, fine. For a week though.”
“A month and we have a deal.”
“Okay, yeah sure.”
You two stare at each other for a few seconds before laughing.
“You’re so dumb.” You say pushing Akira’s arm.
“And from that performance you can see why I deserve the title.” He says with a grin. “Alright, so what time should I be there?”
“Right after school’s fine. Oh, and don’t worry this is just extra practice for me, so no need to worry about anyone being wary of you or anything like that.”
“It’s been a few months and they still think I’m some sort of dangerous delinquent, huh?”
“That’s high school for you.” You say with a small laugh. “Anyways, free period is almost over so I should probably head back before Ma-”
“Y/N, how many times do I have to tell you that you can’t visit other classrooms during free period?” You hear Makoto say outside the open classroom door.
“Before Makoto catches me.” You say with a sigh.
You hear her footsteps walking up behind you and you turn with a smile. “Hey Makoto. Look, I was just leaving.”
“Y/N, you know the rules. I really don’t want you to get in trouble.”
“I keep telling them, but they never listen.” Akira says smirking as he twirls his pencil in his hand.
Makoto gives Akira a look. “You’re not off the hook either. Don’t think I haven’t noticed you sneaking back into your class a few minutes before free period ended.”
“Busted, huh.”
You stick your tongue out at Akira before walking out of the room, “See ya later, Akira!”
“Well, I suppose that’s my cue. Goodbye Akira, and please do listen to me. Don’t blame me if you get detention one day.” Makoto says with a small smile.
“Sure thing, I’ll be sure to tell Y/N that too. Although knowing them, they probably wouldn’t mind being stuck in detention with me.”
“Knowing you two, you’d probably end up getting more detention. Bye, then.”
With that Makoto leaves the classroom and a few minutes later the bell rings signaling that the free period is over.
When you first met Akira, it was somewhat coincidental. You were in the same class as Ryuji, although the two of you never really talked until you joined the Phantom Thieves. Yet one day you found yourself in Yongen-jaya. You’d read about LeBlanc in a magazine one time and finally took it upon you to visit and try the coffee there.
What you didn’t expect to see was Ryuji heading there himself. He told you that he was meeting up his friends from Class-D and said that if you wanted to join you could. You took him up on his offer as the two of you entered LeBlanc. To say the least you were very surprised to see Akira standing behind the counter, serving Ann a cup of coffee. Although you didn’t know each other, Akira had greeted you with a smile.
That was the first time you had seen him smile. When you passed by him at school, his head was always turned towards the ground. You figured it was to keep the attention off himself, especially with the rumors about him. His eyes didn’t seem necessarily cold, but of course the rumors made it seem that way.
His smile was refreshing in a way, charming and a bit mischievous. It made you want to learn more about him.
------------------------------------------
You were quietly rehearsing your lines in the empty gym, waiting for Akira to arrive. Since the whole mess with Kamoshida, the volleyball team was slowly getting back into the groove of practicing; but since the gym was being used for theater rehearsal, no practice was being done.
You sigh glancing over line after line. You weren’t sure what to expect when you signed up for the school play, but the lead role was not on your list. The play was... well, cliché as cliché could get. A teenage romance, littered with the everyday misunderstandings between the two leads.
And then there was the confession scene. The one you had trouble with the most. You were usually on the receiving end of confessions, never the one who gave them. Well at least not until today. Today you were going to confess your feelings to Akira. Was it cheesy and a bit cowardly to do it behind the premise of play rehearsal? Yes, but you weren’t exactly lying when you said you needed help rehearsing your lines. The confession was just an added part, like a reward to Akira for helping you... that is if he accepts your confession.
Then you hear the door of the gym open and Akira walks with in a smile. “Hey, sorry I’m a bit late. Morgana wanted food, so I had to buy some bread from the school store.”
“No worries. I wasn’t waiting long.” You say as you hand Akira the script with his lines highlighted. “We’re really only going over one scene today, but your character has a few long lines.”
“Fine by me.” He says putting his school bag down as Morgana pops his head out, looking at the paper from a distance.
“Blech, so cheesy.” Morgana says. “This is what you’re doing for the school play?”
You chuckle. “Well considering that it’s Shujin we’re talking about, and with everything that had happened recently, I guess this the best thing they could come up with.”
“It’s not necessarily bad... well, except this line here.” Akira notes.
You glance over at the line he is pointing at, “Lucky for you, we’re only doing the best written scene. So no worries there.”
You flip through the script, directing Akira to the correct scene as he looks over the lines.
“A confession scene, huh?”
“Yeah, pretty cliché, right?”
“Hm, well, it’s not bad. I guess if I were the lead, I wouldn’t sidestep around it like they are. It’s much easier to say it outright.”
“Well, you are a fairly straightforward type of guy.” You add. “Anyways, we can get started if you want.”
“Heh, should’ve expected as much from one of the leads of the play.”
You stick your tongue out at Akira and take a deep breath in before reciting your lines.
“Can you just wait a second, please?”
You glance up, hearing Akira sigh as he reads his line. He was really getting into it. “What is it? I don’t really have the time right now.”
“That’s what you said yesterday, and the day before! You’ve been avoiding me for the past few months!”
“And?”
“And we haven’t talked at all. We haven’t hung out at all. What happened?”
“Nothing happened.”
You scoff, “You can’t just say nothing happened, because something obviously did! Why are you shutting me out? Did I do something wrong?”
Akira runs a hand through his hair, glancing at you when he reads his line. “No, it’s not you. Look it’s just complicated.”
“Complicated enough that you can’t confide in me? I’m your best friend for crying out loud!”
“And that’s the problem.”
“Wh- what is that supposed to mean?”
“You know what, just forget it.”
You grab Akira’s arm as he turns away. “Just tell me!”
“I like you, alright?”
You blink a couple of times, tilting your head in confusion as he turns to face you. “Uh, that line isn’t supposed to be for another ten lines, Akira.”
“I know.” He says with a grin. “I like you, Y/N. More than a friend that is.”
Your brain malfunctions for a second and then you cover your face in embarrassment. “I was supposed to say it first.”
“Hm? You know covering your face just makes it harder to hear you.”
“I was supposed to say it first!” You say, your face was even redder than before.
“You’re really cute, you know that?”
“Ugh,” you flip Akira’s script in his face, “Stop being so calm about this. It’s annoying...”
“I’m only being straightforward, you said it yourself.”
“He’s right you know.” Morgana adds, hopping out of Akira’s bag and stretching.
“Shush, just give me a second.” You say, pacing back and forth on the stage.
“They’re really overthinking this, huh?”
Akira only nods in agreement, watching in amusement as you continue walking back and forth. Finally you walk up to him and punch him in the shoulder.
“Ow?”
“You suck. It’s annoying how you barely get flustered at anything, but... I guess that’s why I like you too.”
Akira smiles. “That’s all you had to say, you know.”
“Argh, shut up.”

A Dazzling Spectacle (Childe x Reader)
A/N: A somewhat self-indulgent fic? I really love the aesthetic that characters have when they fight such as Childe, Albedo, Kazuha (;-; lost the 50/50 for him). But nonetheless hope you all enjoy this!
Word Count: 1562
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Since you were young, you always found yourself mesmerized by the oddest things. When something caught your interest, you always made it a point to seek it out. One of those interests that had caught your eye was fighting, well the beauty of it at least. There was just something about the way sparks flew when swords clashed together, or when arrows whizzed through the air after the breathtaking sound of the bow’s string being released. It felt magical to you.
You knew how to fight, always trying to recreate the dazzling spectacle of battle. But your vision never seemed to fit what you were trying to do. You heard stories of a Pyro vision holder who used her vision to make fireworks in Inazuma, some of those fireworks were even used for Liyue’s Lantern Rite. You could only remember how beautiful the fireworks were then. How fascinating it would look if their vision was used in battle.
Then by chance one day, you came across it. The sight you were looking for. It was glaringly bright, the way the sun sparkled against the water flowing through the air.
You could’ve sworn you heard a chuckle as a treasure hoarder’s body falls to the ground.
“Hah, how boring...”
A young man with ginger hair bends down, picking up the treasure hoarder insignia that was dropped. His hair was wet, in fact his whole body was drenched, most likely the result of his vision. You take a small step forward, not noticing the tree branch underneath your foot.
You had never seen someone pull out their weapon so quickly. It was almost in an instant that he had pulled the arrow back on his bow, the tension in the string waiting to be released.
“Who’s there?”
You knew better than to answer; you had just witnessed what this man could do. Yet somehow, you didn’t feel scared at all. If anything, you felt excitement.
With your hands held in front of your chest, as a sign of surrender, you step out from behind the tree.
"Just a normal person. You can lower your weapon you know, I have no intent of fighting you."
The man keeps his bow drawn, obviously still wary of you. "You're not 'just some normal person'; that Electro vision on your hip says otherwise."
"And you're a Fatui Harbinger. You could just shoot me and call it a day."
The man chuckles, “Now, now the Fatui don’t just kill people you know.”
“Well, the blood on your clothes and the treasure hoarder insignia in your hand say otherwise.”
“Keen eye, and here I thought the water washed away all the blood.”
“Blood dries a lot faster than you’d expect.”
“I suppose. Now, mind telling me why you approached me?”
You hesitated before giving your answer. Would this guy believe your reasoning? Even you felt like your reasoning was odd, even somewhat stupid. But nonetheless, keeping your hands steady in front of your chest, you simply put it bluntly.
“The way you fight...is breathtakingly beautiful.”
The man looks at you, as if trying to tell if you were actually serious or not, and then bursts out into laughter.
“Beautiful, huh? Never heard that before.”
He lowers his bow with a grin, “You’re a weird one.”
“I- I am not! I just...” Then you cross your arms in annoyance. “You’re one to talk you know. At least I don’t go around looking for a fight.”
You were looking at the ground, waiting for some sort of retort but then you hear the sound of water.
“No.” You say, glaring at him, “I am not fighting you.”
“Oh, come on. Live a little. I promise I’ll be gentle.”
“I am not-”
“Don’t you want to experience the ‘breathtakingly beautiful’ combat yourself?”
You stop speaking, now looking at him trying to see if he was serious or not. And then you saw a glimpse of light. A glimpse of light in this guy’s dull eyes.
Before you know it, you take your own weapon out, sighing slightly. “Well then, a warning. I won’t be gentle at all.”
---------------------------------------
“You know, the way you use your vision to fight can be very… impractical at times.” You say wringing the water out of your clothes.
“Afraid of getting a little wet?”
“…Both you and I are completely drenched.” You say glancing up at him. He was currently hanging his jacket on a tree branch to dry, leaving him completely shirtless.
“So, how about another go?”
You halt your movements, looking up at him. You had managed to get a few good hits in on him, considering the scratches that covered his body. You on the other hand, had a few scratches here and there. He wasn’t lying when he said he’d be gentle, but you wanted to face him at his full power. You wanted to see just how dazzling his fighting could be.
You walk over, grabbing your weapon that lay near the tree. “One exception. You must come at me with everything you got. No holding back no matter what.”
“No matter what, huh? So even if you’re on the verge of death, don’t hold back?”
You freeze for a second but regain your composure with a small smile. “Do I really look like I’d die to you?”
“Quite confident now, are we?”
“Weren’t you the one who told me earlier that the Fatui don’t just kill people?”
“Did I say that? I guess there are a few exceptions then. Well,” The water forms into blades, fitting the grips of his hands nicely. “Come at me.”
Your vision glows as your weapon becomes enveloped with Electro. And the next thing you know, he appears in front of you; a hydro blade nearly grazes against your face as you hop backwards. He was faster than last time.
You quickly swing your weapon around, hitting the blade with full force as water splashes from the impact. Out of the corner of your eye, you see the other blade swinging towards you. You kick his hand with your foot, causing the blade to fall. But of course, he saw that coming and quickly forms another blade in his hand. Slashing upwards, the blade nicks your face this time and he grins.
You step back, wiping the blood from your face and swing your weapon around again, blocking the next incoming attack. This time you push back, and the stupid grin on his face grows wider.
“You look very upset. Does your little scratch hurt that much?”
“Shut up.”
You take a step forward, pushing against the blades with all your might and your vision glows, causing Electro particles to envelop around the blades. You grin this time and quickly hop back, letting the Electro particles infuse with the blades.
He was certainly in for a shock. At least so you thought.
In the blink of an eye, his vision changed from Hydro to Electro and the next thing you know, you were on the ground. Your weapon knocked away and out of your hands as an Electro blade rests neatly against your neck.
“Care to forfeit this match? Or would death serve you better?”
You glare at him but simply hold your hands up, “I surrender.”
Satisfied with your answer, the blade is removed from your neck as you sit up.
“I have to say, I most certainly would have been done for if not for my little trick. You’re a tricky one, huh?” He says with a grin, his clothes turning back to normal and his vision returning to it’s original element.
“I’m the tricky one? Really now?”
“I digress, it may have been dirty of me to do what I did, but you are the one who said no holding back.”
“Whatever.”
“So”, he bends down to meet you at eye level, “Was it even more breathtaking than before?”
You glare once again at him, annoyed at seeing his face at this point. “You’re too close. And... I suppose. Being able to use two elements is certainly something. But I didn’t even get the chance to see you use Electro in action.”
“Why don’t we make this weekly then?”
“What?”
“We can fight every week. I’m in need of a sparring partner anyways and you seem like the perfect candidate. And you want to use your vision to make spectacles while fighting, correct? Fighting me can only benefit you.”
“And if I accidentally kill you while doing so?”
He laughs, “I’m a Fatui Harbinger. You’ll have to really be serious about killing me if you want to actually accomplish it. So, what do you say?” He asks holding a hand out.
You look at his hand, still very wary of this guy. He was a Fatui Harbinger, which already brought up a lot of red flags. He seemed to have an absurd amount of energy, especially when it came to fighting. His bloodlust...was worrying to say the least, even concerning. But like before you didn’t find yourself scared. You finally found what you were looking for, so might as well take this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; right?
You take his hand, shaking it slightly as he pulls you to your feet. “I’m Y/N, by the way.”
The guy grins once again, his dull eyes showing a slight glimmer of light inside. “You can call me Childe.”
Hi, when I mean “requests that don’t involve a reader or S/O” I don’t mean character x character requests. More like “character reactions”, if you get what I mean
Ohh okay, I understand now, sorry for the confusion; but I'd be happy to do character reactions as well!
Hello, a few more questions. Can you make requests that doesn’t involve a reader or S/O? And also, can you do Headcanons, that way one can have multiple characters?
Hi Anon, I haven't written headcanons before but I'd be willing to try it out. And when you say "requests that don't involve a reader or S/O" I'm guessing that means like character x character requests?
