i feel as though that’s pretty self explanatory but you may not be aware of specific stim blogs that have “anyone can interact” in their blog title, bio, and their own banners

i would prefer those types of blogs not interact with my posts because they allow the interaction of terfs, pedophiles, transmeds, etc. and often reblog anyone’s posts. in the past i’ve had a handful of my posts reblogged by those kinds of blogs and my notes have been swarmed with not only terrible people but incredibly triggering blogs.

oh gosh not a lot

i follow a few big ones and a few smaller ones that i like the vibes of

but i generally don’t follow a lot of stim blogs because with a smaller community now a lot of blogs reblog the same things from each other so i only need to follow a handful of them to get good content

this blog isn’t my main so if i followed every single stim blog i liked it’d clog up my dash A LOT

🪀 do you own any stim toys?

i’ve got a handful of squishies and little fidget toys but not a lot. i have a mini beanie baby that i like to play with but he doesn’t count as an official stim toy really.

irl my favorite ways to stim are either with my own body or mouth so i don’t use actual objects often!

(augh plus i don’t really have the money to buy stim toys :/)

AUGH. OKAY.

huge banners. i hate those chunky dni banners that are like almost the height of the gifs. i’ve always tried to keep my banners (when i used them) small bc the chunky ones just aren’t appealing to me. i think people should keep in the basics and elaborate on the actual dni page on their blog or carrds. :/

when people use gifs from the same gifset two or more times in one stimboard. this is entirely petty and probably a bit unpopular but idk i personally don’t like repeat gifs. i like showing off how resourceful i can be so when i can’t find a gif for a super specific stimboard i use any resources i have available. i’ve used gifs from stock footage videos in my stimboards before bc they fit my theme so perfectly. again this is sooo petty and people can keep doing whatever they want honestly.

it’s not a lot but they’re my biggest pull my hair out type pet peeves

honestly i love that a lot of people are willing to put down boundaries and don’t chicken out when people disrespect those boundaries

and lmao after that statement this may sound contradictory but i honestly don’t think so but there is this amazing sense of community with other stim blogs. a lot of people are very encouraging and creative and it’s just nice to see!

i’m such a huge huge fan of those gifs where like. people bury their hands in things? like a huge pile of buttons or a bunch of sand. idk it’s like i can imagine myself doing it and i’ve always loved to just touch things. ig that’s not odd as just super specific?

i think other than that i don’t have any odd stims per say at least if we’re talking online

irl i know i do this weird duck noise with my mouth or i make horse noises when i’m bored and i like to force myself to shiver when i’m excited (idk how to explain it but like one of those full body shivers but i do it on purpose)

i actually don’t have much of an answer for this honestly. i think with the way stimblr is now there’s really nothing to improve.

not because it’s like a utopia rn but bc there’s so few active blogs now that any critique i have has to do with older stimblr and you can’t have improvement without identifying the flaws first
