Sunday Service April 21, 2024 The Spiritual Battle for Your Soul.
What a morning! Great song, prayer, and time ion the Word. We continue through 1 John, chapter 2 by way of Psalm 36. There is indeed a battle between the Good of God and the evil of the accuser. If you choose to deny that, you have chosen evil. It is only by the power of our risen Lord that we stand in the light as examples to a dying world - and that comes at a cost. My prayer is that you are encouraged by this sermon and uplifted by the music. It was a great morning together. may God bless you and keep you - keep looking up and we will see you in church!

Turning On the Lights! Friday, April 19, 2024 It's open question Friday!
Wow! What a morning of great questions and discussion! We ask three primary questions: 1. Who was Jesus and why do we call Him the Son of God? 2. Do we pray to Jesus? Can we? and 3. If you are opening to Bible to an unbeliever for the first time, which book do you to to? I got one as soon as the stream stopped asking, "why does God allow the horrific things we see in the world today?" Maybe we will keep this format going and start with that Monday. I pray that this conversation helps you and even challenges you. As Christians, we should be able to respond well. May God bless you and keep you and, as we always say, WE WILL SEE YOU IN CHURCH!

Turning On the Lights! Tuesday April 16, 2024 Oh Help Us in Our Unbelief
Good morning my brothers and my sisters. It is a beautiful Spring morning and we get right into it talking about the ordinances and Baptism, the Lord's Supper, and Feet Washing and how they are not only instituted by Jesus, they reflect Jesus and place our eyes upon Him. We then talk a little bit about Israel and dispensational theology and how jew and Muslim alike are lost without faith in the Christ. Finally, we get into Psalms 42 and 43 and discuss the very real way in which these writings reflect our own belief / unbelief. It is very challenging to simply have, "a childlike faith." I pray that this both challenges and strengthens you. Please like and share and keep the conversation going. And, as always, KEEP LOOKING UP!

Good Morning my brothers and my sisters! Holy Week began Palm Sunday and we are going to move through this experience together - from the Old Covenant to the New. Wow, what a morning together as we begin the journey to Resurrection Sunday! Today, we look at the prophetic statements of Jesus regarding His death and resurrection that are found in the synoptic gospels. Why are they there? Well, on the surface they are there as a foreshadow of events to come; but they are also embedded in powerful teachings, teachings that would be impossible for us to follow unless, you got it, Jesus dies, rises again, and empowers us.
