(This has been in my ask box for almost a year now, i'm sorry aaa) Unfortunately even though I absolutely LOVE the Blues Brothers 2000 gang, I never took the time to really draw them properly, apart from a few sketches that I have already posted here - for example I drew a Cab singing John the Revelator and a few others scenes from the movie if I remember correctly! Say hello to my ✨ 2023 art summary ✨!!

Artistically speaking, this year was very exciting! Filling every spot with both traditional and digital art on this year’s summary made me so proud, I’m so happy I finally got back into traditional art after many years of unfinished sketchbooks! Also discovering my love for background art and visual development made me improve a lot, I’m currently very happy about the direction my art is taking and I hope it will lead me to create more and more illustrations, especially backgrounds 💖✨

On a more personal level, I’ve been having some pretty rough times during the year, dealing with anxiety and the amount of school work I have to do for my diploma can be very stressful and overwhelming, but I still managed to do my part of the job, one step at the time 🫶

Wishing you all a very happy end of the year 🥳🎉🎊 and as always thank you all so much for your support and for loving my art, it means a lot to me 💕

Happy birthday Elwood Blues 🎂

I still have no words for the amount of greatful I feel for his character and how much he means to me ❤️

The Blues Brothers (whether it’s the movie or the band) are such an important part of my life, I met amazing people here in the fandom (you know who you are and I love you!) and I couldn’t be happier to see so many content about the Blues Brothers this year! Elwood is character who resound so much in me, so thank you Dan Aykroyd for being such an inspiration for me and a wonderful human being.

The mission from god never ends 🕶️

Today on December 6 is Elwood Blues anniversary ! Happy birthday Elwood ♡ let’s have some dry white toast today in his honor 🤭🍞

On the eve of Elwood’s birthday 4 years ago, I saw the Blues Brothers movie for the first time. And it was surprisingly good ! I remembered developing a crush on Elwood immediately right after the movie, I was looking for every piece of art, theory and videos I could get my teeth into. And 4 years after I’m still here, back in my Blues Brothers era, doing this as a gift for my biggest comfort character ever. The Blues Brothers is an amazing movie and I feel blessed to have Elwood as one of my blorbos, I couldn’t express how much his character means to me and I’m so glad of still being a fan years after 💖✨

PS : you know… i can still meet Elwood at the motel at midnight… just sayin…😳👉👈

Summer sketchbook tour, part 2! 🌞🏖️

Lately, I’m trying to get better at drawing faces and avoid same face syndrome. I can confirm that drawing your favourite characters do help with that! It’s a very good exercise when you easily have crushes on fictional characters like me, heehee! 🤭😳
