All about my trip to Augustine!

I have been to so many destinations worldwide but this time it was such a unique and beautiful destination. One of the reasons why this trip was so special is because for the very first only and my mother went together for a trip. It was a much needed “mother-daughter” time. Secondly, this was the first-ever trip for which I made all the reservations with my own money.

I was saving some amount from my salary for so many months for this trip and that’s why I felt so good. I wanted to organize a trip with my mother all by myself and I did it.

After making all the reservation it was finally the time to reach this place. We boarded our flight and reached the airport. From the airport, it took some time to reach our hotel room named “World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort”. It was such an amazing property. After this, we headed to the colonial quarter. We got to know about the lives of people of the 16-18th century. After exploring for the whole day, we came back to our room.

On the next day, St. Augustine beach was our first stop. My mother has always been a beach person, we enjoyed spending such a lovely time at the beach. This was such an amazing beach with clean water. Also, we enjoyed fishing so much after such a long time. Ponce de Leon’s Fountain of Youth archaeological park was our next stop of the day. We saw some of the peacocks here and enjoyed it a lot.

After enjoying it for some days, it was time to get back home. Our trip to this place was amazing also because we decided to make the United Airlines Reservations. I am so glad I planned this trip as my mother is so happy. I look forward to going on many more trips with her.

Explore the Scenic Beauty of Malibu!

I have travel on my mind all the time. Travelling makes me feel alive. The purpose I have in life is exploring new destinations before I grow too old to travel. I planned on visiting Malibu this time for my vacation. Malibu is a beach city in the west of California known for its beaches and houses of famous celebrities of Hollywood.

I went to Malibu in July. It was the ideal time to visit the place. I made the bookings for my flights by United Airlines as it is best known for its services and I have always had a great travel experience with United Airlines. The Westward beach was also visible from there. That was the prettiest place I’ve been to. We found our way to the beach and had a great time at the Point dune. It was definitely the best place I visited in Malibu.

The next day we went to the El Matador beach as it is known for the best sunsets. It was a little crowded than other beaches but it was different. It had rocks all over and different birds. The following day we went to the Malibu Fishing Pier. We did snorkeling it was a great experience. The weather did get a little chilly but it was so good. The last day we spent at Zuma Beach which was also connected to the Point Dume. El Matador and Westward beach at Point dune were the best beaches America can possibly have.

It was really convenient for us to visit different places. You can also sleep in your car if you don’t wish to book a stay. It is legal in Malibu and there are no car dwellers. My First Time Traveling To Greater Tokyo Area

Tokyo is on everyone’s bucket list. I happen to be one of those lucky ones who actually got to tick this one off of my list. Take this blog as your beginner’s guide to traveling to Tokyo. Let’s get started. Tokyo looked like a different world to me. The roads were always crowded with people walking with purpose.

With my head buried in my phone trying my best to locate a souvenir shop and everyone else was passing me by, it looked like one of those fast-motion scenes in movies where the protagonist is standing in the middle of the road and the world is completely unaware of her, just going about their lives. One of the coolest things I spotted in Tokyo was the realistic plastic food displays.

I saw some of them at the airport and many of them around the city. I was wondering if they make these food items (generally local food) every day, just for the display, but then a kind stranger saw me looking at them and told me that they are made of plastic. The display looked so real I was taken aback for a moment.

Since it was my first ever trip to Tokyo I was hell-bent on doing cliché-d tourist things. So, it was natural that my first tourist destination was the Tokyo Tower. The tower is located in the heart of a business area, Shimbashi. If you are in Shimbashi it's impossible to miss the sky-high goldish orange tower. The tower looked extra beautiful during nighttime. It sparkled during the nighttime and looked like a lighthouse guiding the Tokyo natives to their homes. I climbed (took an elevator) all the way to the top of the tower to get a vantage point on the entire city. Going up the tower can be done by paying the entry fees.

If you are in Tokyo, go crazy with souvenir shopping. I had packed a duffle bag just for the souvenirs. Tokyo has a famous street called Nakamise. The street is close to Senso-Ji temple so you will see many tourists coming back from the temple making a pit stop at the street. I picked a zillion fridge magnets because I could not one. I bought a handful of colorful kimonos for my family back home and cookies for my friends. I bought a year's worth of stationery items. I was so thankful for that extra duffle bag.

Tokyo is a paradise for foodies even vegetarians. The city is slowly picking on vegetarian and vegan culture. I spotted a few places with vegan options which were not raw vegetables. You will also find a lot of unique-themed cafes with quirky décor and a unique menu. My favorite had to be the Japanese tofu soup served with Sake( Japanese beverage). Green -tea is a must-try in Tokyo. It tastes different than your store-bought version, If I have to sum up my trip in a word it would be “Unique”. I had a great time exploring the Greater Tokyo Area and would love to come back here again. Thanks to my friend, who helped me in reservations. Becoming Dora, The Explorer In Luang Prabang.

There is something unique about small cities such as Luang Prabang. You feel like people here do not know about the troubles that rattle the outside world. They know their surroundings and are content staying within them. People have a sense of peace here that we metropolitans have seemed to have forgotten. My day job at a famous Multinational Company keeps me busy enough to think about all these things.

To spend my holidays in peace I carved some days from my busy schedule to spend time with locals in Luang Prabang. The most recommended place was the night market in the city. The market was in full bloom when I entered. The crackling voices of shop owners asking the passer-by to have a look would transport you into a different world. The street was buzzing with food stalls, trinkets hanging on the strings and the aroma of locally source spices jolted my senses. The market is really popular among tourists and is always packed with curious eyes.

The most charming thing about this market is that all the goods are made and sold by locals. You would get authentic pieces with no hidden motives. Whenever I go on a trip, I try to buy from local stores as a way to encourage their business. I can find H&M or Chanel everywhere in the world but not what a young girl is selling in her small shop in this night market.

The market sits at the heart of town at Sisavangvong Road. You could either take a tuk-tuk or hire a cab to the market. I took a cab and the driver dropped me at Kingkitsalat Road and was told the market is at walking distance from there. You can ask for directions from locals passing by or use your Google maps. It goes without saying that since it is a night market it is best to go a little late, I reached at 8 pm. The sellers reach the market around 4pm to start setting up the stalls and start selling from 5pm. The market is open to the public every day from 5pm to 10 pm. I did not find much traffic on the street as Sisavangvong Road was blocked to keep the market running smoothly.

I saw four rows of vendors displaying their goods. It looked like a sea of handicrafts, jewelry, local street food, spices, and condiments. I have been told that I am an impulsive buyer so this time I decided to observe around first and then pick the things I like. There were around 300-350 sellers in the market that day selling authentic Laotian products. One pro tip- Although the products are locally made, sometimes you might find “Made in China” tags on the tags that are not authentic products, always look for Handmade in Luang Prabang tags on the goods before purchasing. The highlights of my trip were the jewelry I found there which was made from aluminum from bombs and planes that crashed during the Vietnam War. The locals somehow learned to use the metal sent for destruction into delicate pieces of jewelry. It's funny how your perspective can shift in a moment.

Why I love New York city? Because, it has a lot of things for travelers to do. No person can find boredom whether they plan to travel in the day or in the night. New York city is always overwhelming for students as well as travelers. Millions of travelers have fallen in love with this city, because of an unforgettable travel experience this city gives to travelers. Explore with me the Beautiful Attractions in Istanbul

I was eagerly waiting for this day for my trip to Turkey. But, unfortunately, due to the increasing corona cases around my city and the places nearby, I felt it was unsafe to travel then. So I thought of holding my vacation for a while. I was trying to cancel my tickets, but it was showing an error. I was very frustrated yet confused about what to do; just then, my friend suggested I cancel my united airlines flights by calling on the reservations phone number. I did and got my flight bookings canceled. Thanks to this program, I was so relaxed after cancellations were made. Indeed United Airlines has excellent services and programs.

When the situation got better, I planned on resuming my on-hold vacation. Knowing the policies of United Airlines, I blindly made the reservations as I know I will never be disappointed. We traveled by tram in the daytime and taxis during the night. On day one, we visited The Blue Mosque and the market nearby. In the evening we went to the Istanbul Aquarium and the theme park. The following day we went to the most famous market in Istanbul, the Grand Bazar, and did some local shopping.

We had the day for sightseeing, and so we visited Miniaturk, Camlica Hill, Istanbul Archaeological, Galata Bridge, and Anatolian Fortress.

We spent a day in Burgaz Island. It was a chill day. The same day we also went to German Fountain, which is a late 16th-century ottoman fountain. The places in Istanbul are vintage yet beautiful. The sunrise at Galata Bridge was surreal. People were usually seen there fishing together here in the morning.

I was planning to see a great place, but then my friend asked me to come to Canada. I was excited for the trip as I have never visited Canada before. Intoxicated by the beauty of Paris

I believe even a lifetime is not enough to really explore Paris in its full entirety, let alone a few days. I had promised myself to make the most of this trip. I had French as an elective in my college. So as a part of an exchange program of few days, I got this opportunity to visit Paris and experience the language from ground zero. I was so excited I could barely sleep the day before. The best part was that my best friend and I both had shown a flair for the French language and therefore got selected for this program. We both decided to pack light and shop from there. I also promised my parents to video call them at least once a day so that they would not be worried sick.

The first thing that I noticed as soon as I stepped out of the airport was how different the pace was. People were in no rush to reach anywhere. It looked as if time flowed differently here. In my broken French, I requested our cab driver to take my friend and me to Jardin du Palais Royal. Our baggage was already sent to our hotel, thanks to amazing service by UA Reservations. I don’t remember the last time I sat down with my friend and enjoyed the food I was having. Usually, I grab a sandwich from the college cafeteria and eat it while cramming my notes. People here really enjoyed their meal and were in no hurry to return to their day jobs. We sat down at Au Vieux Comptoir, a chic café with friendly service.

After covering a short distance, we arrived at the Louvre, the poster kid of Paris. The museum was quiet but there a lot of people, most of them were tourists like us.

On our way back to our hotel, I caught a glimpse of the street style of Paris. The women looked chic and effortlessly beautiful, while the men looked dapper and carefree. We both bought a lot of make-up, especially the iconic red lipstick, from a make-up store near our hotel. I could picture myself living there when I am in my 70s.

My exquisite short trip to Seville

This piece of work is about people celebrating love, life, and everything in between. My cousin has taken responsibility for the love part since she got married to the love of her life in Seville. It was a memorable trip for our entire family. She chose Seville as the destination for her wedding because it is where she first met her now-husband. Planning a wedding in a different country is a lot more complicated than it looks.

Everything requires an extra level of attention, from choosing a venue to a hotel to the flower arrangement. To make things even more complex, my cousin is a perfectionist. She would not rest until every little detail has been triple-checked by her. I would not be surprised if she gets hired as a wedding planner on her own wedding.

Out of all my trips that I made, Amsterdam was the most random trip ever. I took the local train leaving from Bruges to Antwerp, and after this route, I took the Thalys train for my final destination to Amsterdam. I bought online tickets for the train a day before.
