Hey folks!

I’m really saddened by the news that our beloved show has been officially cancelled!

I haven’t been active lately…I could feel it coming to be honest.

I can’t express how sad I am, but you probably know the feeling! It has been one hell of a ride and I’m honored I’ve been part of this fandom. We had some not so great moments, but overall we were pretty amazing!

We accomplished so much together, so many awards, so many trending’s for the silliest and goofiest things…

You’re my friends and I’m yours! Thank you for being part of this experience with me! Kenny Ortega gave us a jem that Netflix couldn’t really appreciate at the end of the day. But we did and still do! This show will always be a soft spot, a nostalgic moment in the history of our lives!

Kenny, Madison, Charlie, Owen, Jadah, Jeremy and Savannah, thank you for everything that you did! Thank you for bringing this amazing show and these beautiful characters to life! I’m forever grateful for the experience! You put your hearts and souls into this!!!

And once again, thank you!

Hsmtmts Episode 8 Spoilers be careful!!

IT BROKE ME! I’m crying like a baby…

Jatp Unsaid Emily level of broken…

Even though I was saying that Ricky and Nini (Nina?) needed some time apart to figure themselves and things out…the break up scene was so painful to watch, but beautiful nonetheless. So well-written and their acting so real and raw! Gorgeous! I loved how Ricky owned up to his mistakes and realized his problematic behavior and had the courage to say out loud he didn’t like who he was becoming. Good 4 him…but homeboy needs THERAPY!

I don’t want Carlos and Seb to fight!! My kids need to be happy…why every couple should have drama?! There was plenty in this episode…

Portwell is growing on me a little bit more every time! They are the cutest…and I’m so proud of Ej and the person he has become.

Tim better leave my babies, Ashlyn and Big Red, alone! They deserve the world…I loved how Ashlyn listened and understood what Big Red needed from her…

Can I just say that mr. Mazzara is so sweet?! I can’t believe that I’m saying this, but this man has this really tough exterior, but you once you “crack” it a little bit, he is so thoughtful and nice, in his own unique way most of times, but what matters is that he is.

I loved everything about this episode, even though I’ll need to talk to my therapist about it, but who doesn’t like a good cry?!

Yes, you guessed it…Hypocrites!

I get that you may not like someone. I really do. There are people I don’t like, but here’s the difference. If I don’t like them, I don’t spend time of my day to talk about them or watch what they’re doing. I simply don’t care. I also don’t send them death threats…

This person right here (and others) act like Charlie is one of the worst people to ever walk the earth! Why does this person hate him so much? What has he done that makes someone to hate him so much? Not liking him, okay I get that. It makes sense. Not everyone likes everybody. But hate with so much intensity someone who has done absolutely nothing bad is unnecessary and speaks volumes.

Also like what was so bad in that live he did that caused this wave of hate? Telling Owen to fuck off? Wow…it’s like you have never talked to your friends like that. I have. You probably don’t understand how friendship dynamics work. Or maybe was it the fact that he didn’t want to talk about covid? Just because something is serious and people are dying from it, doesn’t mean that we have to talk about it 24/7. Children die every day because of hunger, but I don’t see anyone talking about it all the time. People are tired of hearing about covid every single day for one year and half straight. When I’m with my friends and having a good time I don’t want to talk about it either. That doesn’t mean I don’t understand the seriousness of the situation. Also the live was to celebrate Madi for her Emmy nomination and he said it himself after that he doesn’t want to bring the mood down. Or wait, was it the fact that he was singing all the time? It was kinda annoying yes, but rude? Have you ever interacted with a musician or with a person who loves music in general? That’s totally common…also if I remember correctly, owen and madi were funny dancing and I’m pretty sure it’s not the first time they have hanged out that Charlie sang all the time. It’s part of who he is.

They don’t need to be saved! They’re not little kids! They are perfectly capable of choosing their friends. Also…what about letting them, two people who actually know Charlie, decide if they want to be friends with him or not? The entitlement some people have is ridiculous!

I just can’t understand the unnecessary hatred some people have… not just for Charlie, for others in general. What about directing all this energy to things that actually matter and to people who actually deserve it and let people who haven’t done anything, live in peace?

In conclusion, some people need to get over their superiority complex and go touch some grass! Because yes, we hold people accountable for serious shit, but this is daily life and some people are getting hate for no reason whatsoever.

lmao people were upset at Charlie for singing while Owen and Madi were talking and I'm like...it's a completely normal friend group dynamic. it happened countless times with me and my friends, just the other day my friend was singing bohemian rhapsody while me and two others were talking about a tv show. like... do you not know how people interact in real life? I'm not even a Charlie stan, I'm kinda indifferent to him but cmon, singing?? especially when your friend group is musically inclined?? people are being ridiculous. and someone even complained about him swearing as if Owen didn't do the same lmao

people assuming that owen and madi - who actually know and love charlie personally - are annoyed by him or need to be saved from him is actually the most entitled thing ever. it’s so rude, and so presumptuous, and completely infantilises owen and madi. they can choose their own friends, and who they want to spend time with. sometimes your friends are loud and rude and obnoxious. it HAPPENS. if you get this offended by it, maybe you won’t have a lot of friends left at the end of the day. we’re all people. sometimes my friends sing over me when i’m talking. sometimes i tell them to fuck off when they talk about covid or the delta variant, because i don’t want to talk or even think about it. it’s been well over a year. we’re all tired. friend groups have their own dynamics, and you don’t always have to to treat each other with velvety gloves.

i can’t believe something this trivial is even up for debate right now. do these people not have any friends?

at the end of the day, sadly i think they’re just trying to find more reasons to hate on him. which i don’t get at all because—there are so much better things to spend your precious time on. don’t like him, don’t follow him, don’t watch his lives. it’s that simple.

I’m a very sensitive person, so seeing people get hate online who aren’t even related to me upsets me, so I feel like I need to comment on this. I am a firm believer that you can think whatever you want about someone, but mocking and making fun of them is disgusting. You don’t have to like Charlie, you can hate him for all I care, but the amount of blatant bullying I’ve seen because he had an attitude on live is truly upsetting. Yes. We’re human. We don’t always think before we say things, and they have consequences.

I have seen many tweets of people in this fandom saying that Madison and Owen need saving from Charlie and it’s clear they’re so uncomfortable with him. Can you sit back and imagine, please, how he would have felt seeing that. Seeing that people are claiming his friends don’t like him and are uncomfortable around him. That’s so cruel to say to or about someone in general. Somehow saying he’s an “ugly ass man”, a “cunt,” “the most sour person ever,” a “self-centered fish obsessed clown,” or a “Nemo fucker,” is better than him saying “fuck off” to Owen? You can’t sit here and get mad at him for saying that, and then turn around and bully him for his looks and morals.

If he turns off his comment section, which I’m sure he will again, then same people are gonna say “No one was being rude to him. We’re just holding him accountable” STOP WITH THAT BULLSHIT. You can call someone out for their disrespect, without disrespecting them back. A little, “Hey, Charlie, that wasn’t cool. You were being rude in the live,” would have been just enough to get the point across.

Can we please stop living in this society where people can’t make mistakes? You have all made jokes that don’t land right. You have all talked back to someone when you shouldn’t have. That’s called emotions and being human. Maybe he shouldn’t have said that to Owen, and maybe he shouldn’t have been playing music the whole stream, but do you think talking about someone the way that you are is okay?

For all we know, Charlie could be the most toxic member of the cast. But we don’t know anything more than what they’ve shown us. So before you sit here and label him this disgusting human being, take a step back and maybe think about how he could have just been having a bad day. Or maybe he is this monster, but until you know that, stfu.

Obviously I’m not referencing the people who were civil and not insulting him, but the antis on Twitter who completely degrade him.

I’ve always said that the world is a different place for the heartbroken. It moves on a different axis, at a different speed. Time skips backwards and forwards fleetingly. The heartbroken might go through thousands of micro-emotions a day trying to figure out how to get through it without picking up the phone to hear that old familiar voice. In the land of heartbreak, moments of strength, independence, and devil-may-care rebellion are intricately woven together with grief, paralyzing vulnerability and hopelessness. Imagining your future might always take you on a detour back to the past. And this is all to say, that the next album I’ll be releasing is my version of Red.

Musically and lyrically, Red resembled a heartbroken person. It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past. Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators. And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.

Sometimes you need to talk it over (over and over and over) for it to ever really be… over. Like your friend who calls you in the middle of the night going on and on about their ex, I just couldn’t stop writing. This will be the first time you hear all 30 songs that were meant to go on Red. And hey, one of them is even ten minutes long.

Red (Taylor’s Version) will be out November 19.
