I've been busy on Twitter today. Created two lists to help fellow authors and it's been very successful. So, a ray of sunshine in my darken days of rebuilding my self-publishing. The latter is fine slowly but surely. Oh and I've done a new pic with eBook covers and new synopsis
In all the research I did, after writing my series and decided to launch it 10 years ago, one VIP thing I discovered is that your books are commercial items. Therefore, make certain that the font(s) you choose are either public domain or "free for commercial use". Mine is Noto Serif, it's easy to read and falls in the latter category.
As such, best to stay away from default fonts as it's best to make your style unique but the number one priority is not to use a font that's for "Personal Use" as this could bring you copyright infringement. Therefore, as independent authors you won't have the financial and legal resources to face the consequences.
Finally, try to browse online for "easy to read fonts" as well as presenting your book with a good cover, the inside texts needs to be easy on the eyes of your readers. It's the ultimate goal, you want it to be read from page 1 to last.
