Have you read the horror novel Psycho by Robert Bloch? Here's a creepy quote from him, so you can see he's got his finger on the pulse of the macabre. The book became the inspiration for the classic thriller Psycho, directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1960.

If you're looking for a decent horror film, try Blood Vessel, a film that I reviewed for my horror blog on my website. Imagine your a survivor of a ship wreck, and you come upon an abandoned Nazi ship. Would you get on the ship? While this film wasn't as scary as some, I enjoyed the storyline and the ending worked for me.

Do you remember the film Jacob's Ladder? It's a classic. It's not a typical horror film either and some may not even classify it that way. Either way, it gives everyone something to think about. The original came out around this time 30 years ago. Last year, the remake came out too.
