England was cool. Sometimes Phineas would take trips with his family to see his step-brother’s side of the family. Since Phineas was a yank 100%, it was kinda interesting to take trips around Britain. There was so much history surrounding it. Sure, Phineas may not be history geek but he can appreciate it to a certain extent. Ferb’s grandparents had taken them by car to London, and yes, like in the TV shows - London was just, wow. Big. They had travelled to London once before, but here Ferb and his stepbrother were, sighting again. Dude, Phineas was getting all kinds of ideas. They made a water slide out of Big Ben before, but like, what if they did that again - but made it BETTER?

❝Hey Ferb, do you think we can make the Big Ben into a even BIGGER water-slide? Is that, like, breaking any sort of federal English law or whatever?❞ Phineas watched his brother give a silent shrug.  ❝Cool! As far as I’m concerned, that means we can go ahead with our plans!❞ 

Now, Phineas was talking rather loudly about making the Big Ben into a water attraction. Considering it’s close proximity to the river Thames, it works. He was so hyped up and had his fists clenched the whole time, occasionally pumping them with excitement.  Phineas wasn’t even aware some of the stares he may have been getting.

How could a possibly 10 year old kid suggest modifying the iconic clock into a water slide?! This is the same kid who build a roller coaster back in America. At this point, the sky was literally the limit with him.

Sometimes you just find yourself home alone. Mother said that Phineas needed to go out for a bit, and Candace was probably at Mr. Slushy Dogs. Ferb was just chilling out in the lawn in front of his house. He wasn’t doing much of anything, probably because Phineas wasn’t around to give him any idea. The green-haired boy was bored. It’s too bad that his brother wasn’t around, Ferb had some great ideas and -

❝...Are you selling cookies?❞

...Oh, one of the Fireside girls...? She looked like... Gretchen? What was she doing here? Did she come to talk? Was she earning a patch? If so, where was Isabella? Didn’t the Fireside girls do this kinda thing together?

Regardless the reason, Ferb’s curiosity was piqued.

thank you guys for your patience! rest assured i havent forgotten about your starters but its been kinda a Hard Week so far. I’m okay but I haven’t been able to get into a phineas-y or ferb-y mindset.

Judging by the man’s demeanor, Ferb could tell that this individual lived on the wild side. No problems with that all. He and his brother constantly messed with the laws of physics, and they were just kids.  However, the pressing issue that was Ferb had no idea how to initiate in conversation with him. ...Did this gentleman even want to have a conversation with some random 10 or some old kid? Ferb couldn’t tell, and he didn’t speak his thoughts at first. His brother did all the talking. Ferb was the man of action, according to Phineas. ❝...You sound like you like Hockey Z9, sir. Extreme hockey.❞ NAILED IT.

His elegant-sounding British accent was heard crystal clear through each word. Sad it doesn’t happen very often now, eh? When he does speak, he usually drops facts or sass - but he was going easy on the sass with the stranger he had just accidentally bumped into. Ferb should probably be apologizing, but he had to admit - the man piqued his curiosity. Ferb wondered what the taller would do. 

❝...I apologize. For bumping into you.❞

Oh, so Ferb DID apologize. It just took him a moment to do so! Ferb just had to muse first. The stepbrother spent a lot of time in his own head, when he wasn’t riveting rivets into roller-coasters, or blueprinting.

Are you okay?❞ Once again, Phineas is not respecting personal privacy - but it’s okay, since he means well. ...right? The young boy gives Mr. Jester a wide smile and bright eyed look, the picture of youth and optimism.  He’s going to continue with saying,  ❝It’s summer! Summer’s the best time of the year!❞ It’s like he can’t possibly understand why someone could be feeling blue on such a nice summer’s day.

Phineas Flynn is a very optimistic boy. Even though it’s very hot or whatever, Phineas is still calling summer the best time of the year. The lad DOES get 104 days of summer vacation after all. The redhead suddenly has an idea, and he  makes a fist - slamming said fist into the palm of his other hand. ❝Say, my bro and I could whip up some kinda... machine boby-thingy deal for you. If you need something machine-y, Ferb and I are masters at building stuff. Maybe if we... erm... make you a transportable ice cream dispenser that makes you ice cream cones whenever, maybe you’ll feel better!❞

...Sorry, Jesper.  Phineas is too well-meaning for his own good. What a boy! It doesn’t even occur to Phineas that the taller may not even want his help but he’s offering it anyway! He’s looking up at the man with pleading eyes as in “please let me build something to make you feel better, I haven’t built anything yet today”.
