So I’m jumping onboard the Bionicle Inktober train a bit late due to college but here we go! Due to years of neglect my art is far more rust than skill, so have a tiny headcanon with each of these to add a bit of zest.

Day 1: Poisonous

The Bone Hunters have never been picky eaters, so when the great robots fell and the world became new they wouldn’t turn down the chance to sample all the novel flora and fauna that cropped up.

The giant slugs were ugly, with their garish colors and segmented bodies. Many were also dangerous, shooting lightning or screaming till their ears bled. The upside was they were everywhere in the underbrush and a good whack with a heavy stick was usually all it took to stun them.

The deep green ones were everyone’s favorite, because they made their own tangy gravy when roasted and paired well with Thornax fruit. Odd that that Matoran they captured awhile back to ransom off kept saying that type was “poison”. It tasted fine to the Bone Hunters.
