Hey quick question,

Do you guys think Elias had all the Eye stuff in the employee contract? Because I feel like probably not, like I know a lot of the archive employees probably wouldn’t read the entire thing but at least one would have had to of read the whole thing at some point in time and been like “what the fuck??” I feel like there are two options here

A) it was in really super fine print at the bottom of the contract/it was written in white or something like that lol

B) he just didn’t mention any of that, in which case I think it would be really funny if instead of getting Elias arrested for murder at the end of season three everyone on the archives staff just Sues the shit out of Elias for Fraudulent Misrepresentation because they were led to believe this is a job they’d have the ability to quit or at least not turn into a monster for at some point. But then of course everyone just starts dogpiling to get him for a bunch of other random shit, they sue him not just for Fraudulent Misrepresentation but also human rights violations, emotional damages (literally) just anything under the sun they can think of and I think that would be hilarious especially cause you know Elias ain’t paying for any of it, poor ol’ Peter Lucas is gonna get the bill some random Wednesday and have no idea what’s going on.

I’ll never forget the time I was sitting with this guy, nice kid, didn’t know him well, I think we must have had a bottle of wine or some questionable hashish or something, and in response to an awkward silence I just started talking and ended up going on a long meandering rant about how ugly American robins are. I’m talking a full monologue. I had an intro and conclusion. It was pointlessly vehement. I have never been so mean or loquacious about anything in my life.

Consider my horror when this perfectly nice guy wordlessly lifted his shirt to reveal a full-torso prismacolor tattoo of his spiritual soul animal, the American robin.

I know I've talked about this before but it was ages and ages ago and it's still true: I love the word choice in a guest for mr spider. there are no requests, there are no commands, it's not even really passive voice, it's all just plain statements. mr spider doesn't like it. he doesn't eat flowers. he wants more. we don't see what brings the parade of victims to his door, we don't know if they somehow choose their offerings or if that was out of their control as well. "mr spider wants another guest for dinner. it is polite to knock." it's not phrased like a choice, but it's also not phrased like a demand. you are simply going to be the next guest for dinner, and you are going to be polite.

There are two things that make Mike Crew such a funny character.

1. He’s just… such a bad person. Leaving aside avatar stuff, because every avatar does casual murder, Mike Crew was was terrible even before he became an avatar. He’s already got a body count by the time he encounters Ex Altiora. The statement giver of that episode is like ‘I’m pretty sure this child is willing to murder me for that book’.Got his parents killed by a spooky book and was like ‘yeah, I want more of that’. Casually murdered someone (many someones?) with the Boneturner’s Tale and then when he decides it’s just not quite working for him, chucks it in a library a place where it’s guaranteed to ruin someone else’s life. If you think about it, Mike Crew managed to contribute to the eyepocalypse twice. Everything Jared got up to is lowkey Mike Crew’s fault. He just does not care about other people. Iconic

2. He’s short

I've seen a few "Tim and Alice would be besties" posts and I love it so much cuz like. Tim's sense of humor canonically is mostly pop culture references to movies and stuff, there's no real indication that he's particularly online. Meanwhile Alice speaks like she's been Very active on tumblr for longer than she's been at OIAR CONSTANTLY, she just says the strangest shit all the time. So I just keep imagining a conversation between Tim and Alice constantly having to stop because Tim keeps cracking up unable to breathe over the Shit Alice Keeps Saying and he's never heard any of that kind of shit before, especially not with such a casual, nonchalant delivery. And Alice is laughing because its hilarious how offline Tim is. Hearing the phrase "none pizza with left beef" would incapacitate him.
