Assigning NCT (OT22) Project Sekai Favs because I can

What's up?

It's me

Ya girl

Back at it again with another niche post that only a few people will know and or enjoy. But this time this was actually requested by my friend @kaiyaki-sano (I love you 😚)

But essentially the Genshin NCT post that I made? This is that but Project Sekai. And again, I really enjoy making these! I love making the aesthetic little pictures and thinking about who to assign to who so I really hope everyone else enjoys reading these! And again I'd like to hear your own thoughts and opinions!

Haechan - Rin (Vivid Bad Squad)

I believe this one with my whole chest. Vivid Bad Squad Rin and Haechan give off the same energy. Bratty, teasing, but also very loveable and faithful. True ride or dies. And no I'm not just saying that because they're both my favorites. I'm saying it because I believe it thank you very much. I don't really know how else to describe this one. Every clip of VBS Rin and Len going back and forth just gives me major Haechan and literally anyone else vibes. Your honor I love them very much.

Jeno - Meiko (Vivid Bad Squad)

I'm a firm believer that when it comes to characters he's a fan of the badass boss bitches. And I do not blame him one bit, they just hit different. I think he simply thinks she's a cool, strong independent figure and I can 100% see him kind of looking up to her character in a way (especially the VBS Meiko but I can also see him enjoying Nightcord Meiko as well). The way she's able to keep her calm, yet also dish out snarky playful remarks to keep things calm when tensions get high. I believe with my whole chest that he would try and emulate and take into consideration what Meiko would do in a difficult situation. Kind of like a mental mentor figure if that makes sense?

Jisung - Ichika

Now this, this is truly an honor. Ichika is my favorite. I wanted whoever I chose to assign to her to be PERFECT. And I think I'm happy with Jisung claiming that title. I believe they're very similar in many ways. Shy yet loving to those close to them. Truly shining in the correct atmosphere (such as in a room full of their loved ones). Being young yet also responsible enough to take charge of and try to solve a situation if deemed necessary. Very hardworking individuals who strive for perfection (especially when it comes to things they're passionate about such as their music). I honestly really love this duo.

Chenle - Shiho

The way I thought about this one for about two seconds. Chenle is the Shiho to Jisungs Ichika. Passionate, strict (in a good way I promise I love Chenle so much). But also very loving and shows their love through actions rather than words. Calm and collected for the most part (Although there are some exceptions I am very aware Chenle is chaotic) and they know how to turn their switch on and off in certain settings to match the mood of a room. And honestly I think that's pretty impressive and really commendable.

Mark - Saki

These beautiful babies. I love the idea of Mark and Saki. They've both been through hard times but both continue to smile and joke and have fun without a care in the world. They're the strongest people and I think it's really amazing that they continue to push forward despite the hardships life has thrown at them. They continue to remain optimistic but also fun and energetic, willing to make a fool of themselves just to see their friends and loved ones smile. The kindest and comforting souls honestly.

Taeyong - Honami

TEAM MOM TEAM MOM TEAM MOM No but really they are the same person. Very loving, kind and caring. Willing to put others before themselves no matter how it will affect either their mental or physical health. They've both been through so many difficulties but have been able to overcome them and remain just as kind and benevolent as they've always been. Their friends and bandmates mean the world to them and they would do anything in their power to make sure they keep smiling and remain safe.

Shotaro - Minori

Little cuties. They are perfect. Both shy but also hard workers, willing to practice and put everything on the line to make their dreams a reality. Have to mention both highly underrated people despite their many talents that make them shine. Both remind me of a puppy dog in human form. And both try their best at everything they do, refusing to give up no matter what life throws in their direction.

Jaehyun - Haruka

Another team mom. Very calm and collected people who tend to keep things under control when in a group setting. But also just genuine down to earth people that are an absolute comfort to be around. They're always there to support and lend a hand for their loved ones and they genuinely both appreciate the love and support and adoration that their fans give them. But also aren't afraid to stand up for themselves when things get out of hand amongst fans and their loved ones. Obviously they do it in the kindest way possible, they love their fans. These two are probably the most reliable in the bunch and are able to keep their heads on when the pressure gets to be too much, if that makes sense? Could genuinely just see Jaehyun and Haruka going out for coffee or something and just sharing their own idol experiences and hardships and giving each other advice. I love them so much.

Jaemin - Airi

And to no ones surprise Jaemin gets Airi Listen listen I understand I'm biased Jaemin is my Bias Wrecker and Airi is one of my favorites I will not deny that But just hear me out for a minute. They are the same person. Both of them are into the cute things and excel at the cutesy idol act without even having to try. But at the same time they're both true to themselves and they know what they want in life. They've made sacrifices for their idol career but genuinely love what they do and the people who support them.

Ten - Shizuku

Two absolute beauties. I can see them getting along swimmingly with how similar they are. Sharing makeup and hair tips and just genuinely enjoying each others company. Both a little clueless (but I mean that affectionately I love both of them) but no matter how aloof they may seem they are so full of love and compassion for every being on this planet. And they both work so insanely hard for their dreams.

Taeil - Kohane

Stunning vocalists. They both absolutely shine on stage, almost as if they were meant to be there. Team players, whether or not they can help is trivial. They're always there to lend an ear for their loved ones and friends problems. Or if needed, a shoulder to cry on they're there. They're not particularly extroverted or introverted so they're able to make friends easily wherever they go (whether intended or not). I can also see them both catching lots of eyes just from their comforting and friendly nature.

Xiaojun - An

Two bad bitches. Cool, talented, unique individuals are the best words I could use to describe them. They put their all in everything that they do and they dream big (sometimes maybe too big) but regardless of how big those dreams end up being, they do everything in their power to achieve them. Yet another duo of team players. They're there to help and support their loved ones and friends when needed and they can always be counted on to help push you to your limits while also encouraging and cheering you on from the sidelines.

Hendery - Akito

Rough exterior, soft interior. For as cool and badass both Hendery and Akito can look, they're nothing more than softies on the inside. They're always there to encourage their loved ones but also willing to dish out hard truths. Sometimes they need to be said and these two won't hesitate to say it like it is. But they'll also be there to help fix and overcome these issues that their friend or loved one is facing, they won't let them blindly try and figure it out by themselves. If anything that at least search around in the dark with you.

WinWin - Toya

Princes. Absolute princes. And the most caring and beautiful souls truly. They can be a little dense, and things can fly right over there heads but I think that that is super endearing and just adds to their charm. They're very opinionated and stand by their ideals no matter how much outside pressure tries to sway them. Not afraid to stand up to loved ones either. It hurts, no doubt about it but they believe in their ideals and opinions just that much, and they know that if they're truly loved whoever their arguing with will either step back or at least respect their opinions and keep an open mind in the future.

Johnny - Tsukasa

I love Johnny and Tsukasa so much Just two silly goofy guys. But they're two silly goofy guys who work extremely hard and know what they want in life. They're full of confidence and know that they're a star and belong on the stage, and they continue to believe in themselves no matter what anyone else says. Very caring individuals and a good shoulder to lean on. They might not have the best advice to give but they'll always be there to lend an ear or use their wits or goofiness to make their loved ones smile when they're feeling blue or if things become awkward. Very good at relieving tension among groups and can easily take control of an entire room if needed. They are natural leaders.

Sungchan - Emu

Two absolute angels. They just want everyone to smile and laugh and live life as best they can, you only get one after all. But at the same time they know how to reel it in and can be a good genuine shoulder to cry on if needed and will give advice as best they can. Though most times their form of comfort is acting silly in an attempt to cheer up whoever is shedding tears or needs it. Able to bring smiles out of anyone around them just by being themselves, which I think is an extremely impressive trait.

YangYang - Nene

Mentally exhausted but also just happy to be here. They may complain and sass at their loved ones but it's all in a playful manner and they don't genuinely mean it. Very hard workers who genuinely just love the stage and are just happy to take part in what they can. I feel like YangYang was a theatre kid and I can not tell you why and that was partially why I put him with Nene. And they share the same kind of vibe. I can not put my finger on it but they just heavily remind me of each other.

Yuta - Rui

Would risk life and limb (and possibly jail time) for their friends and loved ones. No but seriously they love with their whole heart and are a presence of constant reassurance and are just genuinely soothing people to be around. I can see them being rather closed off, they might not talk all that much in a group setting, or even with another but there presence says enough for them. They're good people to hang out with if you just want to hang out. Sit on a bed and read a book, or play some games. They'll sit in silence with you and just having them there is enough to make you feel safe. They just have a very calming and safe aura about them and I believe that with my whole chest.

Doyoung - Kanade

Something about Doyoung and Kanade just hits different. Very caring and loving individuals who have been tested by god but still stand tall to tell the tale (But honestly I could say that about every NCT member they work so hard and I can't even imagine the hardships they go through). Very passionate about their hobbies and craft, they put their everything into what they do (even if its at the expense of their own health). They're both very unique in a way and that uniqueness adds to their charm and they come off very endearing if that makes sense?

Kun - Mafuyu

I don't know how many of you here read my Genshin Impact and NCT post but I feel as if this duo is the same as Kun and Ganyu. Relates very heavily to Mafuyu and somebody please help him. Granted we don't know what Kun is feeling and we never will, hence why I am simply going off of vibes. Please don't take anything I say as fact. With that being said I get the feeling that Kun is still trying to figure himself out (and that is absolutely okay!) which is why he finds himself enjoying and relating to characters like Mafuyu (and Ganyu). Works very hard and has a wall of support around them so that there thoughts don't ever overpower them or so that they don't get absolutely consumed and lost in their work.

Renjun - Ena

I can see him heavily relating to Ena and her entire character. A love of the arts But also not feeling good enough for their chosen career and constantly seeing those around them excel at what they're striving to achieve. They're so self concious and insecure that they don't even realize how beautiful their art truly is and how many people around them truly love and support them. But I think Renjun would find comfort in Ena, knowing that there's a character out there that feels just like he does (I love Renjun he deserves all of the love in the world.)

Jungwoo - Mizuki

Just two silly little ducks. No but seriously I love them. Sassy and playful, but also supportive. They'll drop everything to help their loved ones out of a bind (but also will not hesitate to tease them while doing so). Big PDA people I don't make the rules. I just get the vibes that they're both at least hand holders. Walking beside someone? Doesn't matter who it is they are grabbing that hand and swinging it all playful and sweet. Just genuinely really endearing people and super fun to be around! There's never a dull moment if you're hanging out with Jungwoo or Mizuki.

Okay but can you imagine all of these as separate NCT units??? That would be so sick and I want to see it.

NCT (OT22) and their Genshin Impact Mains/Favorite Characters

This post is for an exceptionally niche group of people (like myself) who play Genshin Impact and also stan NCT so for that group of people, please enjoy I had so much fun writing this and creating the pictures/aesthetics and really just thinking of the whole thing. (No this did not stem from an absolute want to play Genshin Impact with them shut up.)

Taeyong - Nilou

Taeyong is a Nilou main and I will die on that hill.

I feel like he'd really like her entire aesthetic, probably doesn't play a lot of video games so I see him going for characters looks and aesthetics more than play style (not to say that Nilou is bad I adore her and the few Nilou mains I've encountered). I think he would see a little bit of himself in her, both very caring, hardworking, and sharing the same passion for dance. And her Ult??? Strong believer that he would use it whenever it's full even when there's no enemies around purely because he thinks it's beautiful (Me too Taeyong).

Taeil - Tighnari

You know how sometimes you just look at two things and you just know??? That's how I feel about Taeil and Tighnari. I can't really explain why I think Taeil would main Tighnari. I think like Taeyong, he'd like his overall aesthetic. Loves the big ears and the nature like vibe he has going on with the flowers and green shades. I think he would also really like Tighnari's entire personality. The way he's so smart but also so snarky. I could see Taeil trying to incorporate Tighnari's attitude into his own vocabulary if that makes sense at all?

Johnny - Childe/Tartaglia

Firstly let me just start with the obvious

Johnny 🤝 Childe mains

Being an absolute menace memelord

It was actually a pretty hard tie up about whether he would play Childe or Itto but I ultimately went with Childe as I feel Johnny would definitely like and vibe with both of them but he would like Childe's playstyle more. The double weapon with his skill is definitely a big draw for Johnny. I feel like he'd also really like the double agent kinda vibe Childe has going for him. Being a playable character and friends with the Traveler but also being part of the Fatui??? That's absolutely sick.

Yuta - Kaeya

Yet another one who I feel would choose more aesthetic over playstyle. But I also feel like once he's got a team made he wouldn't really change it so he's probably been a Kaeya main since the very beginning of the game and now at this point he's just attached. Probably has him c6 and maxed the fuck out with artifacts and weapons. Loves his playful yet serious demeanor and wants to be just like him. Also thinks he's gorgeous (me too Yuta, me too).

Kun - Ganyu

Please help this man he sees way too much of himself in Ganyu (but as a Ganyu kinnie, felt Kun). Likes her playstyle more than anything. I think he would like a combined team of Ganyu as the main and some type of Hydro character like Mona who can apply Hydro to enemies while off the field so he can freeze them with Ganyu. He 100% enjoys fighting the Oceanid with her for fun. I can not explain why I just feel it in my bones that he just loves freezing everything in the game that he can, finds it very satisfying.

Doyoung - Amber

BUNNIES 🐰🐰🐰🐰

No but seriously I think he's a bit like Yuta. Probably got her and then just never changed her from his team and now he's attached. But I can also see him really enjoying her playstyle. It's easy to grasp for beginner players and I can't really see him going out of his way to play competitively or anything like that so I think it's perfect for him. And I 100% see him enjoying bow characters more than any other type in the game so it's a win win.

Also loves the fuck out of Baron Bunny and probably wants a stuffed animal of one.

Ten - Yae Miko

He reminds me of Miko so much and I know he would think the same way. He loves her character design so much. The colors, the EARS. Not to mention her personality??? Sexy but also sadistic and a bit twisted???? Sign him the fuck up he's going to main her until the day he dies. And her makeup? I know he'd try to recreate it. Maybe even asks the staff to try it for him for a public appearance.

Jaehyun - Ayato

This one was hard. I had a hard time choosing between Ayato and Ayaka. Ultimately I feel like he'd main both and just have them on a team together but I decided to go for Ayato. I feel like he'd enjoy running around and exploring as Ayato more than Ayaka. I don't think he'd like her sprint all that much (as a former Ayaka main, it can get a bit annoying to control sometimes). Also loves watching Ayato's idles. Probably laughs everytime he pulls Boba out of his sleeve.

WinWin - Kazuha

Like Taeil this was a match that I just knew you know? I feel like he'd enjoy using Kazuhas skill and watching all of the enemies cluster together and then plunge on them and one shot them. Probably has him built amazingly for the sole purpose of trying to one shot the smaller enemies (like hilichurls or mage hilichurls). I think he'd also like the flowy yet stoic samurai aesthetic Kazuha has going on. I could see him wanting to style his hair like Kazuhas for a comeback (though lets be real SM probably would never let him).

Jungwoo - Klee

Loves exploding literally everything.

And if he's co-oping he likes to wait for the person to go AFK and then use Klee to set the ground on fire and kill their character cause he think it's funny. Him and Klee are a chaotic match made in heaven. He also just thinks she's super cute! She was probably the first five star he ever got and became really attached to her and now refuses to take her off his team or use anyone else. I could see him definitely having her built pretty well too. His Klee does some massive damage (part of that being just so he can set his friends on fire and kill them even faster).

Mark - Layla

Probably one of my favorite duos that I thought of. I call them: The overworked and exhausted babies (SM please let Mark rest).

But in all honesty I can definitely see him relating hard to her which was a big reason why he decided to main her (but I could also see the same with Ganyu). I think he would enjoy her playstyle, probably enjoys using shield generating characters such as Layla, Zhongli, Noelle, etc. But he has that personal connection with Layla which is what made him decide on her. I feel like he'd also really like her character design. Likes the witchy, academic look but also how they really encaptured her tired and overworked state in her facial design! I could talk about Mark and Layla all day, like I said it's one of my favorite duos!

Xiaojun - Mona

Same vibes

That is the best way I can describe it. He likes her sprint, thinks it's super unique! He probably lost his 50/50 in all honesty and decided that he was going to get his use out of her but he ended up really enjoying her play style and character. I think he'd also just really enjoy using Catalyst characters, he thinks the playstyle is fun. Probably quotes her all the time too just for fun. He loves the whimsical things she says.

Hendery - Bennett

Another duo that I really like.

I can see Hendery being a healer 100% when it comes to doing domains, but also enjoying Bennett's character of always being unlucky, he thinks it's endearing! I could see him having his Bennett built really well, he probably does some massive damage and some good healing without needing all that many buffs. I could see his Bennett being his pride and joy and loves showing off the damage he can do.

Renjun - Albedo

I am a strong believer in Renjun Albedo supremacy.

I can see him liking Geo characters so he probably had a hard time choosing who to main between all of his options. But he was probably drawn to Albedo both for their shared love of art and the air of mystery that Albedo has about him. I could see Renjun just simply thinking that Albedo is a cool character (strong agree) and he already knows he likes using Geo characters so it's kind of a win win. He gets a geo and he also get a character he just genuinely thinks is neat.

Jeno - Beidou

Simply thinks she's a badass and a boss bitch. (He's right.)

He enjoys the pirate aesthetic and I can see him enjoying claymore characters. He practiced a lot when he started maining her so he could get the timing for her skill Tidecaller just right and deal maximum damage everytime. I can see him and The Dreamies domaining a lot together so his Beidou is probably pretty stacked in terms of artifacts and can do some damn good damage.

Haechan - Yoimiya

As an NCTzen whose Ultimate bias is Haechan

Please let me explain

I also could 100% see him being a Hu Tao main. And I think it would be a situation like Jaehyun where he most likely would have both Hu Tao and Yoimiya on a team together. But I can see him gravitating more towards Yoimiya aesthetically. I think he would really like the fireworks she attacks with and thinks her ult is absolutely gorgeous! I could also see him doing her little sparkler spinny dance idle all the time during dance practices or just for fun. Essentially he's the Marge Simpson meme when it comes to Yoimiya. "I just think she's neat 😃"

Please I love this duo so much and I want it to be true so bad.

Jaemin - Diona

I believe with my whole chest that Jaemin would play as a healer.

And she's a cat.

Oh my god

That's so cute.

He absolutely adores her. He is a proud Diona main and has maxed her out. I'm talking c6, triple crowned glory. She does some massive healing for his teammates (*cough cough* the dreamies *cough cough*) and he loves testing her out against the Oceanid to see how he can change up her artifacts to get even more damage out of her.

Honestly I think he would be a die hard Diona fan, I don't see anyone else having as much passion for her character as he would.

YangYang - Lisa

Fell in love with her the moment he got her and put her on his team and he's never looked back sense. Like Mark he loves the academic witchy vibe she has but also really likes using a catalyst character and shocking enemies. I can see him also really liking her purple rose aesthetic and wanting to replicate it subtly in his own wardrobe if that makes sense?

Shotaro - Gorou

No he does not care that the Genshin meta calls him and his kit useless he is going to make the best DPS Gorou or die trying. He loves him. He thinks his ears and tail are super cute and he loves the little dog that joins Gorou when he uses his skill or burst (like Doyoung I could definitely see him wanting a plush of it).

Spends a lot of his free time domaining and grinding so that he can make the #1 DPS Gorou. I could 100% see him streaming it with NCTzens so he isn't bored and alone. I can see him also really enjoying using bow characters.

Sungchan - Noelle

He has her built like a TANK.

He wears the badge of Noelle main with pride.

I think he would enjoy really everything about her. He likes her character design, the cutesy maid uniform with pieces of armor scattered throughout to show that she's also a knight, the little rose petals in her hair and the fact that she swings around a giant claymore??? She is so badass and he believes that with every bone in his body.

Chenle - Xinyan

I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE TURN IT UP

This was the original headcanon that sparked this entire list. I LOVE the duo of Chenle and Xinyan.

I think he would think she's so cool and badass. The rock and roll aesthetic, the flames, he loves everything about her.

I know most people say you can't build Xinyan well for damage but as someone with a Xinyan on my team I think that's bullshit and he has his Xinyan BUILT. When he's doing Domains with the Dreamies he is absolutely carrying and crushing their opponents without much help needed other than for the pure fact of doing elemental reactions.

He grinds the hell out of domains and has her maxed out, triple crowned, the works.

Jisung - Sayu

By far another one of my all time favorite duos.

I love the idea of Sayu main Jisung. I think when you put him and Chenle together they are unstoppable. Jisung uses Sayus swirl to his full advantage and even the physical damage and healing stats on his Sayu absolutely slap. He probably grinds domains with Chenle and though his Sayu probably isn't triple crowned or maxed yet she's probably pretty damn close (he's working on it).

I can see him being a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to his Sayu and she'll never fully be built. He wants her to be perfect and so his grind for Artifacts will never really end as he always wants the best next artfact for her.

But that's okay, whatever makes him happy, and it'd be a real big testament of his love and appreciation for the character

Holy crap that took forever. But I had a ridiculously good time writing and creating all of this.

Alright, I can't help but ask this: What would be Venti's and Zhongli's reaction to, after getting their Gnosis taken, their s/o disappears for about a week or so. Then they show back up, covered in blood and bruises, holding their Gnosis, and say "Am I not the best s/o ever, or what?" before passing out.

This request was put in before Raiden Shogun had been released so I really hope you don’t mind but I wanted to include her in the mix! She’s my favorite archon!

It's not exactly what you requested, I had some fun playing around with the idea but I hope the outcome is still enjoyed!

You get their Gnosis back

Beginning: When they lost their Gnosis, you were crushed. Whether they would admit it or not you knew that it brought them great pain not having a part of them anymore. You couldn’t bear seeing your lover in such mental anguish and so you set out. It took you a long while and you had covered your tracks, you were going out for a week at least to ‘complete a commission’ you had told them. But that was a lie. You were going to find their Gnosis and bring it back to them if it’s the last thing you do.

Venti:

When you first left, he was overcome by the feeling of immense fear. Where had you gone? Were you lost somewhere? Had you decided to leave him? Or the worst thought yet, had you died from heinous injuries? He couldn’t handle losing someone so precious and dear to him, not again.

With those thoughts in the forefront of his mind, he set off to search the vast expanse of Mondstadt, with the help of Dvalin of course.

When he didn’t find you there he took to the streets of Liyue. He asked anyone he locked eyes with if they had seen you, checked every nook and cranny and even paid Zhongli a visit but his attempts always came up empty.

He was at a loss. With no idea what else to do, he went back home to Mondstadt.

And spent his days in Stormterror’s Lair with Dvalin at his side. His lyre no longer played the same tune, the strings no longer harmonized so perfectly and his voice no longer belted out the same jolious tone.

He was completely and utterly lost.

The day you came back to him, it was as if color had flooded back into his life.

You were hurt, battered and bruised, but you were okay. And you were back to him. The poor boy nearly knocked you to the ground when he lunged at you, wanting nothing more than to feel you in his embrace.

His hands fell to your face, frantically searching across your cheeks, gently rubbing his thumb across your bloodied and swollen lip.

“(Y/N)... What did you do?!”

His immense worry for you was clear as day in his voice and the way his eyes surveyed every inch of you.

You tried to give him the biggest smile you could muster and held your hands out to him, the smile on your face only growing.

“I got it back.”

He was full of so many emotions, they were swirling all around his mind. You were alive, but you were hurt something fierce. You were beaming such a bright smile towards him, but you were in so much pain, you couldn’t hide that fact from him.

The Gnosis in your hand was stained, a dull brown color took over the once vibrant features and there were a few stained splotches of blood, a much darker hue then the rest of the item.

“M-My Gnosis?... (Y/N) are you crazy!?”

Neither you nor himself expected such an outburst and he quickly placed a hand over his quivering lips. A frown fell to your lips and you slowly dropped your arms to your side, tightly squeezing onto the Gnosis he still hadn’t taken from your grasp. “I thought you’d be happy…”

He wrapped his arms around you tightly, pulling you to his chest as his tears stained his cheeks. “N-No I am happy! But you didn’t have to do that! I was so worried about you! I didn’t know where you went, if you were okay, I was so scared.” He was fighting for breath as he stuttered and stammered through the waterfall of tears escaping his eyes. “I love you so much please please please don’t ever do anything that dangerous again.”

Finally you understood. He was grateful, but putting yourself in his shoes, you would’ve been worried sick as well. Slowly you wrapped your arms around him and buried your face in his chest. “I love you Venti. I’m sorry… I’ll be careful from now on.” “P-Promise?”

You smiled and nuzzled his chest with your nose, gently pulling on the hem of his cape as a yes. “I swear on my life.”

Zhongli

When you first disappeared he had of course been worried but he tried not to work himself up. Perhaps you were just busy. You had your own life, your own little world that didn’t revolve around him and he respected that. But as time dragged on, and you still hadn’t graced him with your presence, a panic began to slowly overtake him. He tried everything to console himself but his mind kept running wild and he finally had had enough. Without a single word of goodbye to anyone Zhongli vanished practically into thin air.

He searched everywhere, used every last one of his connections through his numerous contracts and those that he called ‘friend’.

Xiao and all of the Adeptus.

All of his fellow archons (at least those he could get a hold of).

And even going so far as to ask the Fatui, or more Harbinger Childe to be exact. (Though the man wasn’t too pleased to see him after the ‘betrayal’ he had put him through’).

But all of his searches led nowhere. He left no stone unturned, no mountain unscaled. Yet despite all his efforts you were still nowhere to be seen.

He had almost given up hope. He had done everything he could think, searched every corner and exhausted all of his connections but he always came up empty handed. Perhaps this was his fate. Everyone he loved always left him eventually.

You were mortal and he was a god, he knew that you wouldn’t be with him forever and he would eventually have to say goodbye but he didn’t think he would have to say it so soon.

He had lost track of how long it had been since you went missing. Probably about a month, but he couldn’t be too sure. All of his days seemed to merge into one, spending all of his time holed up in the mountains, sitting atop the high mountain tops and reflecting, reminiscing and of course, trying to wash away the guilt that threatened to consume him. It was his fault you had gone. He wasn’t sure what he had done, but what other answer could there be? Perhaps you had been angry with him for giving away his gnosis, or perhaps you were angry about all of the secrets he had kept from you.

Whatever the case, he was convinced that it was his fault.

He had tried to immerse himself into his work during his free time (when he wasn’t finding solitary comfort on the mountains) and it was while walking through Liyue Harbor, on his way back to Wangsheng Funeral Parlor that his eyes caught a familiar sight.

That hair… and that figure… Could it be?

His thoughts were all but confirmed when you turned around, somehow seemingly aware of his presence and sprinted your way over to him. You wasted no time in crashing into him for a hug, squeezing him as tightly as your weak arms could manage.

He wasted no timing in wrapping you up in his embrace, resisting the urge to let a few tears spill. It was so unlike him to cry. He finally pushed you away when he was satisfied and gently grabbed your face in his hands.

Now that he could get a good look at you, his stomach churned. You were covered in scratches and bruises. Your clothes tattered in most places and a noticeable limp.

“(Y/N)... what happened?”

You gave him a smile, resting one hand atop his and used your other hand to reach into the pouch at your side, gently pulling out a small item. His gnosis. “Pretty good right?”

He grabbed the item from between your fingertips, evaluating the small little almost chess like piece. It was indeed his Gnosis, the real, genuine item.

“(Y-Y/N) why did you…?”

“Why? Because it’s yours. I know what you were thinking, I really do. But something this precious,” You slowly reached and and used your hands to clasp his together, slowly moving them to touch his chest as he clutched the Gnosis. “Something that’s a part of you, shouldn’t be given away so easily.” You tried to give him a playful smile, though your pain and fatigue was clearly showing through. “And I worked really hard to get this back so please.”

He knew you were right. His head was spinning. He was relieved, yet he was angry, yet he was also in a way… proud. He loved you so much, you meant the world to him and clearly that was why you had his head reeling like this.

He once again wrapped you in his embrace, slowly kissing the top of your head as his grip tightened around you even more, terrified that he would lose you again if he let go.

“I love you. Please… don’t ever scare me like that again.”

“I won’t… I love you too. Now can you please help me get to Baizhu? It’s a long way to walk with these battle scars.”

He smiled a bit at your continuous teasing tone and easily swept you off the ground and into his arms. “I’d be honored Angel.”

Raiden Shogun:

She honestly wasn’t all that concerned with her missing Gnosis. She had never really needed it before, why would she need it now. Though you understood where she was coming from you couldn’t just let things stand like this and so you packed up your things, preparing yourself for a long journey before leaving the place you called home and searching for the Gnosis.

When you didn’t return to Ei the next day (like you had promised) she practically turned the entire region upside down. Enlisting the help of her entire regimen, sending her puppet into the depths of Inazuma in an attempt to find you, even asking Miko (though it was more demanding with how frantic she was) help find you as well.

But none of these searches ever turned up anything. No evidence, no leads. It was as if you simply just vanished.

And she became lost. She had already lost so many loved ones. It took a lot for her to bring herself to accept her feelings for you, and now what? She was just too accept the fact that people enter and leave your life just like that? This pain… It was why she had been searching for a way to keep eternity in Inazuma.

It hurt.

So bad.

And she hated herself for allowing herself to fall victim to these foolish emotions once again. But she couldn’t shake you off her mind. Perhaps it would be best if she stayed in the Plane of Euthymia forever.

She hadn’t expected to see you again. Trying her best to rid her mind of you in an attempt to free herself from this crushing agony, but it never worked.

What with her staying in the Plane of Euthymia, never to come out again you had to enlist the help of Miko when you came back.

And she did. Not only for you, but for Ei as well.

She was sitting on the ground, seeming to be meditating(?) but she snapped her eyes open as soon as she sensed the presence of another being. Slowly she raised her head, a rather angry look on her features but it instantly softened when she saw that it was you standing in front of her.

She slowly got to her feet, hesitant to even believe what was right in front of her. Was it… really you? “(Y/N)?”

“Hi Ei… I guess I made you worry huh?”

You were covered in wounds from head to toe, your hair a messy, knotted mess. She quickly strutted her way towards you, starting to run as she got closer and engulfed you in her arms. It was rare for Ei to initiate any kind of affection and you took a moment to stand in shock. When you didn’t hug her back her grip on you tightened. There was an almost, scared feeling in her tight grip and so you hugged her back.

“I got your gnosis.”

She refused to move her head from your chest, both out of embarrassment to show you the tears streaking her face and out of fear that you would simply vanish again if she did. “You idiot.”

“Well that’s not very nice to call your hero.”

“Stop joking around!”

Her sudden shout surprised you and your body tensed a bit. She nuzzled her face into you, trying to get closer (though it wasn’t possible). “You selfish fool! I don’t need a gnosis! I never did before and I don’t now! How could you just put yourself in danger like that!? I was worried sick about you! I thought you were dead!”

You could finally hear the tiny sniffles that escaped her and for the first time, you truly understood how much you meant to her. Slowly you wrapped your arms around her a little tighter and ran your hands through her hair, trying to bring her any sense of comfort with your presence.

“I’m sorry Ei… I… I wasn’t thinking. I never meant to hurt you.”

“Please… don’t ever leave me again… please.”

Her voice sounded so broken and you felt a pang of guilt in your chest. You hadn’t expected this kind of reaction from her. You placed a gentle kiss to the top of her head before continuing to play with her hair. “I won’t Ei… I love you.”

~Island Scenery~

One of my friends has really been going through it lately so I wanted to take some time and write her a Gorou piece. I can’t do much to help her and her current situation, but I can at least use my writing to try and cheer her up and remind her that both Gorou and I are here for her.

“And right over there is the Sangonomiya Shrine. Her excellency currently resides there, protecting the peace of every Watatsumi resident.” There was a look of pride on Gorou’s face as he led her down yet another winding dirt path. They were so high up, on yet another cliff base. She could see the small conglomerate of buildings that made up Borou Village positioned below her. He had already led her through the quaint little village and up the mountains towards where they currently stood. “And right now we’re standing right in front of the Borou Village fields.”

The entire island had her completely mesmerized. It was almost… magical. Bubbles floated all around the island, a majority of the grass was a rather deep blue color rather than the normal green. She had stopped many times just to run her hands through the grass of the island just to make sure she wasn't dreaming.

The platforms leading up and surrounding the Sangonomiya Shrine were made of bright pink shells, strong enough that you could place a whole herd of Lawachurls and they wouldn’t so much as crack. And right below the Shrine was a hole, water swirling around in a harsh current but too dangerous to step into and too dark to see anything inside, at least that’s what Gorou had told her in a panic when she said she wanted to go for a swim. The poor boy had to practically lunge at her before she could attempt the dangerous act.

“Gorou… how does the island just… float like that?”

He approached her side, admiring the view with her as the sun had begun to set. He followed her finger, pointing towards the Shrine and he gave a nod. He had wondered the same thing when he first arrived. “Watatsumi Island used to be under the sea, that's why all of its people are descendants of sea creatures. It was Orobashi who helped bring civilization out from the depths of the sea. I’m sure you’ve heard the name Orobashi while we were making our rounds. He’s like… An archon here. The people of Watatsumi pray to him.”

“Oh… Do you pray to him?”

“No. I don’t really pray to anyone. Not the Raiden Shogun nor Orobashi.” He stood himself back up and shook his head. “But we’re getting distracted.” He pointed towards the field the two of them had been standing on. She hadn’t even noticed the small carrot tops sprouting out of the ground or the green beginnings of some radishes also making their way to the surface. “We're actually standing on the Borou Villages crop field. It’s elevated above the rest of the village so that the cliff sides don’t block out the natural sunlight they need to grow.”

He was always happy to show off his knowledge of the island, and he was even more ecstatic to show her around the place he called home. He tentatively grabbed at one of the carrot leaves and scrunched up his nose. “Though the smell of the fertilizer can be atrocious… Yet another reason why it was moved away from the village.”

She finally stood back up and he grabbed for her hand, intertwining their fingers together and allowing his tail to wag freely behind him. “We’re almost to my favorite spot!”

She reached up and grabbed for his ears, giving them a quick scratch and smiling wider when he let out a happy whine. “What kind of spot is it?”

He was more than excited, the rapid wagging of his tail giving any bit of subtlety he had out the window. “It’s a surprise!”

He pulled her forward, back down the mountain. He swung their hands together, humming a song he had heard her excellency sing many a meetings and he felt his heart race as she grabbed onto his arm and rested her head on his shoulder.

With a new pep in his step they rounded a corner to their left and she could spot what appeared to be a curtain of vines directly next to one of the many waterfalls that made up Watatsumi Island. He gave her a beaming grin and ushered her forward, holding the vines back so that she could step through the rather small opening.

The inside was practically a home. It was rather big, with makeshift shelved and a small desk sitting towards one of the corners. There was no need for lights as the walls themselves appeared to be luminated by some type of rock. There was a small cliff leading down towards the center, nothing that couldn’t easily be climbed but he stopped her in her tracks and quickly hopped down before outstretching his arms to help her. He didn’t want her to get hurt after all.

Once he finally brought her to the middle he placed his hands on his hips in pride. “I found it while I was searching for some materials for the soldiers! I use it kind of like a base.” He pointed towards one of the bookshelves and the desk that had a plethora of books and paper strewn all around. “I plan all of my strategies for the battlefield here. It’s quiet and it helps me think.”

“Oh Gorou hun.” She grabbed at his cheeks, gently holding them in her hands and giving him a smile. “You know you don’t have to deal with it all by yourself here you can always-” She stopped as she noticed his eyes wander to the left, right above her shoulder. His tail had slowly begun to wag and there was a look in his eyes that she had never seen before. She followed his gaze to find a lone jellyfish floating its way through the room. “Is that… a jellyfish?”

He nodded, eyes not leaving the creature and she let out a small laugh before letting his cheeks go. The way his tail slowly wagged and the way his eyes practically shone, she knew what he wanted.

And the second she let him go, he pounced. He was like a flash of fur, she hadn’t even seen him move. The jellyfish quickly shot upwards, directly out of his reach and he attempted to jump for it, teeth bared as he focused harder than he ever had before. Repeatedly the jellyfish jumped just out of his reach, leading him around the room in a frenzy as he let out excited yips and whines. Everytime his fingers would graze the jellyfish she could hear him let out a loud bark, something that Gorou didn’t so often, in fact it was very rare to hear him so much as yip yet here he was, losing it over a small jellyfish.

She had already sat herself on the ground in the middle of the room, watching with amused eyes as he chased after the creature. Eventually it started towards the vine curtain and he jumped for it, trying to catch it before it left his eyesight. His foot didn’t quite make it over the small cliff and she watched as he tripped and flopped backwards onto the ground.

“Gorou, are you okay!?” She ran towards him, falling down beside him as he sat himself up and rubbed at the back of his head, letting out a pained whine. “Gorou, baby pup, please, you have to be more careful.”

He let out a whine, ears falling flat on his head as she chastised him. “Kai… I’m sorry, I just got carried away.”

Her heart broke at the pout on his features and the way his ears fell and she grabbed for his cheek, quickly examining him to make sure he wasn’t hurt. He didn’t appear to be bleeding, just a few small scratches from the harsh ground and she reached for his ears, gently petting them. “It’s okay Sugar bean you don’t have to apologize, I was just worried about you.”

He avoided her gaze, pout still on his features but his tail starting to slightly wag. “No I should, I got carried away. I probably looked like a fool.”

“No, no, not at all. You were excited, and it was cute. You don’t have to be so stoic around me. I love seeing all of the different sides of you. You don’t have to be Gorou the war general everyday okay?”

His face practically lit up as she spoke and he gave her an enthusiastic nod. “Really? That’s good to know. I’m… glad.”

She gave his ears a scratch and smiled as his leg quickly kicked out and he blushed in embarrassment. “Sorry…”

Once again she reached for the spot, laughing as he kicked once more and let out a happy whine. The sweet spot. She placed a quick peck to his cheek before holding his other cheek in her hand, moving his face towards her. “Stop apologizing, you’re adorable.”

He gave her a nod, tail wagging faster and grabbed at her waist before placing a sweet kiss to her lips.

“I love you darling.”

I am in love with him

He’s an absolute menace. If you slip up and make any mistake in front of him he will not let you live it down (all in good fun of course).

He likes going to arcades. More often than not other than the skatepark an arcade is his number #1 date spot (especially during the cold months). He likes showing off, whether it’s playing a match against you in some type of fighting game or trying to win you a plushie in a claw machine (and then pouting and grumbling when the stuffed animal falls for the hundredth time).

He’s really big on physical affection. He’ll sneak his hand into yours when you’re walking together, avoiding your gaze but the bright red blush on his cheeks clear as day. If you’re sitting together or laying in bed he’s always all over you. Sometimes he likes to lay his head in your lap, pinching at your cheeks as you run your hands through his hair.

He taught you how to skate! He practically begged you to learn and although you were nervous he was by your side the entire time! Holding your hands when you were scared and giving you skeet kisses on your cheeks in an attempt to calm your nerves when you needed it.

He is a very light sleeper. If you so much as move an inch to adjust yourself while you’re cuddling he’s awake and whining about you leaving him, his grip around you tightening so that you can’t escape. Of course you weren’t leaving at all and you try to explain to him that you were just moving but he’s still half asleep and does not believe you.

He loves waking up beside you. Not that you can leave anyways, he’s far too light of a sleeper for that, but regardless he absolutely loves seeing you beside him when he awakes. He’ll pull you even closer to him, one hand playing with the tips of your hair while the other is slung loosely around your waist. He wakes you up by peppering you in kisses. Starting from your neck he’ll make his way up to your jawline, kissing along the outline of your jaw before moving to your cheeks, your forehead and then ending on your nose. Once you wake up he’s a blushing mess, especially if you catch him mid kiss.

Speaking of noses, that’s his favorite spot to kiss. He likes watching your nose twitch and scrunch as you give him a sweet smile. But he is pretty fond of your lips too. Sometimes he likes to snatch you in a kiss as he’s walking by or if he just wants to feel you close to him. Where he kisses you honestly just depends on his mood.

He calls you Prince/Princess! He’s a fan of the cutesy stuff, no matter how generic it may be and he’s always dreamed of being able to hold someone and call them his Prince/Princess. And he loves spoiling you, he treats you like royalty. No matter how many times you tell him he doesn’t have to spoil you so much, it won’t stop him.

Jealousy is over 900%. He gets SO JEALOUS. He’s pretty insecure so if someone even looks in your direction it can get him pretty irked. He’ll hold your hand tighter or place a kiss to the top of your hand, making sure that he makes eye contact with whoever is staring at you. If someone tries to approach and begin flirting with you he’s very vocal, reminding them that you are in fact taken and you are in fact very busy right now. He’s not subtle and his affection towards you will only grow, practically hanging off you as he gives them major side-eye, to the point that the other person will get uncomfortable and leave (if they hadn’t already). Once they begin leaving he gives you a rather rough kiss, practically slamming his lips onto yours in an attempt to calm his nerves and his racing heart (he had been worried after all) and if the other person just so happens to turn around and see, well that’s not his problem.

Now let’s talk about his insecurities for a second. Sometimes he just needs you to hold him and tell him that everything’s going to be okay. He needs to know that he’s worth something and that you love him as much as he loves you. Sometimes he feels like he’s not worth your love and affection, he needs you to say that you love him and that he’s perfect just the way he is. He tries his hardest not to cry when he feels this way, he wants to be tough for you, but sometimes it just spills. When he cries, please, wipe his tears away and hold him close. Pepper his face in kisses and remind him just how much you love him.

His friends at S have adopted you into their group. You like to tag along when he races, you’re his number 1 supporter and it brings him great pride knowing that you’re cheering him on to do his best.

The people at S do anger him sometimes. One particular beef he had participated in, the man he had been racing joked about taking you as his prize for winning… Joe had to pull the boy off of the man before he could do anymore damage. He was infuriated, disgusted, and he even tried squirming his way out of Joe’s grip to finish the job before the other man slunk away. You had to caress his face and remind him that everything was okay, that you were okay to calm him down. You had never seen him so raging mad before.

His mother and his sisters adore you! When you go to his house his little sisters constantly bug you, pulling at your clothes and trying to get you to play with them. Reki will shoo them away so he can have his alone time with you but his mother will chastise him and tell him to let the girls spend time with you.

He loves hearing you say “I love you”. He’s a sucker for verbal validation. If he hears you say it, he knows that it’s true and that he isn’t alone in his feelings.

Listen I know I still have a bit more requests to do but the Itto brain rot is just SO BAD right now I love him so fucking much. Like I’m ready to absolutely risk it all for this man. This got very sinful, like way more than I planned SO PLEASE 18+ ONLY for this one!!

“Itto…” A sigh escaped you as you stared at the boy standing in front of you, a proud, cocky smile on his lips. His bottom lip was red and swollen, no doubt he had taken a pretty good hit to the jaw, you could see what was the beginning of a black and blue underneath his chin. You quickly grabbed at his face, cupping his chin in your hand and gently turning his head to the sides to get a good look at his ‘battle scars’ as he would put it. “Oh hun…”

“What? It’s just a little scratch, come on, lighten up I’m okay.” He aimed an even brighter smile in your direction and grabbed onto your hand with his own to give you a gentle yet reassuring squeeze. He knew you worried for him, sometimes far too much.

“Love bug…” You couldn’t find exactly what to say to him. He really did make you worry far too often. You moved your thumb to gently graze where his lip had been busted but quickly pulled it away from him when you saw him wince at your touch. “What did you get yourself into this time?”

He tried to brighten his smile and pretend as if he wasn’t in pain, but you had already seen through it and he gave you a grumpy pout. “I told you I’m okay, you don’t gotta worry about this,” He grabbed onto your hand and moved it from his chin, instead intertwining your fingers with his own. “The gang and I just had some business to take care of in Konda Village, that’s all!”

“You know that’s easier said than done right? I can’t help but worry when you come home with these bumps and bruises. Even if it’s ‘just a scratch’ that doesn’t change my worry for you. I know you’re probably used to getting a little battered and bruised but that doesn’t mean a damn to me. I love you and I don’t want to see you in any pain.”

“Agh you’re too sweet on me, you know that?” His thumb caressed along the back of your hand, a rare moment of peace falling over him as he gave your hand another squeeze, this time in an attempt to reassure you. After the moment passed he gave you a playful grin and brought his face closer to yours. You could practically see the excitement in his eyes. “You wanna hear what we did today???”

“Of course. Please, regale me with your adventures Mr. Arataki Itto.” You teased, nuzzling his nose with your own and watching his face slightly flush out of embarrassment.

“Well the gang and I went to Inazuma city, you know kicking ass in Onikabuto fights, helping the less fortunate, winning every round of rock paper scissors, naturally. You know, the usual,” You giggled at his exaggerations and he narrowed his eyes at you. Before you could even react he lunged forward, jabbing at your ribs repeatedly to tickle you. “Hey, none of that was funny! I’ll give you a reason to laugh!”

You tried to push his hands away, falling backwards onto the soft grass as he continued the assault and you were sent into hysterical laughter. “St-Stop! Itto!! Stop it!”

“Haha!” He couldn’t stop his own laughter and moved so that he leaned above you, resting his hips right above your pelvis so that he had better access to you and continued to drill into your sides. Your tiny hands were no match for him, nor were your feeble attempts to push him away. He had that Oni strength after all. “I’m not stopping a damn thing! I told you, I’ll give you something to laugh about! That’ll teach you to laugh during my stories!”

“Itto I mean it! Stop!” You were gasping for breaths in between your laughter, your sides were absolutely killing you, both between your laughing and the incessant feeling of his fingers jabbing at your side.

“Say you give Junebug. Say you give and that Arataki Itto is the coolest, most badass boyfriend you’ve ever had.”

That cocky smile. He knew that he had you cornered and he wasn’t going to let up until you gave in. “What?? That’s not fair!!!”

“Well then I guess I’m showing you no mercy baby. Should’ve taken the door out when you had the chance.”

You honestly didn’t think he could tease you anymore, the tickles were enough but you let out a surprised gasp as he moved to nibble at your neck all while still assaulting your sides. “H-Hey!!!”

Your cheeks were burning red and you moved your hands to fall onto his chest, attempting now to push his entire body away to give you a minute to catch your breath. Itto on the other hand wasn’t having it. You could hear a muffled laugh as he moved to nibble on your ear and he grabbed at your hands, easily cuffing them to the ground on either side of your head.

“Itto s-sto-” You were shocked at his sudden handiness but you were cut off as he smashed his lips into yours for a hungry kiss. It wasn’t as if you didn’t enjoy such actions, but it wasn’t very common for Itto to act so forward when it came to initiating the romantic aspects of your relationship.

You felt his fangs graze your bottom lip before he gave you a gentle bite, telling you exactly what he wanted. And you did as he said, allowing him entrance while tangling your hands into his mane of hair. It had been so long since either of you had gotten this intimate, there was a sense of hunger and urgency behind that kiss of his and by the way you were pulling on his hair, he knew that you needed it just as bad as he did.

You pulled harder on his hair as he deepened the kiss, pulling in just the right spot, and he moaned against your lips, a sound that only made you smile in pride as he moved one hand to let go of your wrist and instead grab onto your waist with a deadly grip, almost as if he was trying to keep himself grounded.

You were losing control, drowning in the ecstasy of the moment and you couldn’t stop your hips from bucking up towards him and he let out a low growl, holding onto your waist in a tighter grip than before.

He finally tore his lips away from you, ending rather sloppy and placed his forehead on your own. “Now now, what do you think you’re doing Junebug?” It was rare for Itto to take the dominant side but hell, when he took over it left you breathless. The way his eyes changed to a dark hue, nothing but lust and hunger in those red orbs. And the way he mercilessly teased you, never giving you what you wanted until he had you practically begging for him. He knew exactly how to use that Oni strength to his advantage.

“Itto…” You were breathless, mind in an absolute daze. You were craving his touch, craving him, and that shit eating grin he was giving you told you he knew that was what you wanted. But he wasn’t going to give in that easily.

“Oh no love you can’t just win me over with a bat of those pretty little eyes.” He let go of your waist and instead grabbed onto your chin, lifting it to gain better access to your neck. He gave you sweet love bites, marking what was his before speaking against your skin. “You’ll have to beg for it baby.”

You were putty in his hands. He finally let go of your other wrist and grabbed your ass, giving it a squeeze and a moan left you. You wrapped your arms around his neck, burying your face in his neck in an attempt to hide your flushed cheeks. “Itto please…”

A satisfied humm left him and he grabbed onto your hair, pulling your head backwards so that he could place a rough kiss to your lips, the sound of you begging for him was always enough to throw him over the edge. Your hands roamed along his chest, descending downwards towards his trousers. You attempted to remove his Oni belt buckle and he chuckled as he listened to you whine, fumbling and struggling with the rather extravagant piece. “Come on darling, don’t you want it?”

His teasing only made you whine more, rubbing your thighs together in a feeble attempt to get some friction. You weren’t sure how much longer you would be able to handle his teasing.

He was finally ready to help you and unbuckle the ridiculous buckle (he himself wasn’t sure how much longer he was going to be able to hold on).

“Boss! Hey boss, those treasure hoarders are back! They’re coming this way!”

He practically jumped out of his skin at the sound of his gang members shouting for him. He quickly pulled himself away from you, trying to stop the crimson blush creeping to his cheeks and you grabbed onto his vest, burying your face in his chest so as to hide from the members fast approaching the two of you.

He let out a growl. “Goddamnit.”

The three boys reached the two of you, a frantic tone in their voices as they pointed towards the group of treasure hoarders that were approaching the two of you. “Sir, I think they want revenge! What do we do!?”

“Relax, I’ve got it.” He wrapped his arms around your waist, lifting you from his lap and placing you down on the grass beside him. He stood back up, dusting off his pants and grabbing for his Claymore before turning back to face you. He knelt down to your level, once more grabbing your chin and forcing you to look up at him. He gave you a quick kiss, the hunger and lust from before still hidden in that kiss. “I’ll be right back. We’re going to continue this later. I give you my Oni word Junebug.”

You nodded. “Hurry back.”

He gave you a playful wink before leading off the charge and you watched him kick ass. You already knew some lowly treasure hoarders looking for revenge on Itto would get their asses handed to them ten times over.

No one could best Arataki Itto, in more ways than one.

She’s always dragging you around Liyue with her, pulling pranks on the citizens or advertising the Wangsheng funeral parlor. No matter what she’s spending her time doing, she wants to do it with you.

Sometimes she can be a handful and the citizens of Liyue make it very apparent to her.

You absolutely can’t stand some of the things they say about her. Sure she’s a bit quirky but that just adds to her charm! And to hear people say negative things about the woman you love makes your blood boil.

Honestly sometimes you’ve caused quite the scene in the streets defending her. Even if it’s so much as a passing comment from a stranger, it doesn’t matter. You’re calling them out and defending your love. Annnnnnddddd she has to hurry and drag you away forcefully (you’re not backing down without a fight after all) before the Milieth decide to take you away themselves.

She really does appreciate it but she doesn’t want you to get in trouble because of her so she tries her best to assure you that their words don’t bother her.

“I don’t need their validation (Y/N), it doesn’t mean anything to me. As long as you still love me that’s all I really care about.”

Those rare moments when she gets soft and tells you how she really feels make you melt.

She’s such a ball of mystery sometimes, but she always always makes sure you’re aware that she loves you with her whole heart.

Did somebody say cuddle station?

She’s a giant cuddlebug!! She’s constantly latching herself on to you, both in public and in private. She’s very loud with her affection and will not hesitate to show off while you’re walking through the crowds of Liyue, especially if she notices someone even so much as glancing in your direction.

“Oh don’t mind me just going to get dinner with my GIRLFRIEND.”

“Hu Tao for Archons sake shut up!!!”

You drag her away, trying to get her away from the crowd as she sticks her tongue out at the person who had honestly just been looking in your direction to see the shop behind you.

Again, she really was a handful.

But despite the flaws she has, you love her and you can’t imagine loving anyone else.

She brightens your day as do you for her, she’s always there for you when you need her and she’d protect you with her life.

“You know my polearm is always at the ready if you need it, my little Spook.” (Yes she came up with that nickname herself, and yes, she’s very proud of it.)
