He's the most generic man because he's just a man. All these other contestants are fictional, they've had encounters with the supernatural, worked in exciting jobs, lived in magical worlds! Even the more seemingly ordinary characters were still written to be as entertaining as possible and experience regular drama and excitement for the sake of their stories. David Tennant is literally just a man. A real man. He's an actor sure, but that pails in comparison to alien fighting, Pokémon battling or even overdramatic office shenanigans. He's the most generic man because he wasn't written specifically to be extraordinary or experience extraordinary things. He wasn't written at all, he's a real man, which makes him inherently more generic than any other contestant!
