I just finished CoP 2 and thought that the ending was left very open-ended, which makes me wonder what book 3 will be about.

Anyone have any thoughts? I think it would be cool if maybe the agency got a tip regarding who killed MC's dad and they spend the whole book with Trystan trying to figure it out. I'm not really sure where else they could go with a third book besides this route, but I've only read the whole series once so maybe I missed something plot wise.

I’m playing CoP for the second time and I was thinking about MC and Trystan’s last names.

So MCs last name is Rose and Trystan’s is Thorne. Is it a coincidence or is it purposeful? I mean, I was just thinking that a rose normally has thorns on it. Is it supposed to be symbolic?

Am I overthinking this? Has anyone else thought of this? I’m new to the CoP world so idk what’s been discussed yet.
