I fell asleep looking at old yearbooks online-- from when I was in high school. I dreamed (dreamt?) I had to pick a public high school instead of the one I'd be stuck with due to location. I said, "I want to go to (School C) and my mom said, "You don't. It's full of trashy people." I pointed out that there's trashy people at (School D)-- that there's trashy people everywhere. Even at (Catholic and Lutheran high schools in the area). In real life I wanted to go to some other school (or no school at all) where people didn't know who I was. People knew who I was and believed the wild bullshit stories that were passed around about me. How do you know who I am when I had no idea who they were?

WHOOPS

My brother went to an Xmas party and they sent him home with a bunch of candy. I saw a couple little drink bottle chocolates and thought, these are cute, I'll have one. I assumed it had all-ages-appropriate filling, like cream. NOPE. There was actual vodka in the one I picked!. I'm not allergic to clear liquors, thank the spirits. I wasn't expecting that though! There was maybe like 1 ml of vodka or less in there and half of it ran down my chin.

So much for me not having had a drink in over five years lol

It's 23:52. Shut down and go home!

The farmers haven't been working late this year, they'd quit at 8pm. NOT NOW! Still out there working in the fields with their massive-ass loud-as-hell tractors. The rear wheels are taller than I am and I'm 170cm / 5'7-ish tall. The lights are the worst. Bright bright bright and a bunch of them. They're working real super close to the house right now. The LIGHTS are BLAZING into my damn retinas There's no regulation that I know of that enforces a shut down time. My guess is they think tonight's a good time as any to work massively late, since tomorrow's Thanksgiving and they assume no one might be working tomorrow or else just wants to SLEEP.

My dog went to the groomer

She behaved fine, she looks cute, her coat is soft and shiny. Of course they put a silly little bow on her head (which she barely tolerated). She met a couple dogs. A standard poodle didn't like her and the feeling was mutual (that dog was kind of a 60-pound asshole). She buddied up with some Pomeranian dog with Yorkie-textured hair.

The poodle was actually a real purebred poodle and not a designer mutt like Koko. I'm seeing actual poodles more and fewer *doodles lately. I'm not a big fan of poodles but it's better than overpriced designer dogs. Koko was born in 2010 so she was part of the designer poodle crosses trend and not an "oops" like my brother's ex-mother-in-law's cockapoo. Oh lord, I'm not feeling right-- the mystery dog virus (CIRDC) is in Illinois but it hasn't made its way this far northwest. None of the dogs were showing symptoms and neither is Koko. She doesn't socialize with other dogs often. There'll be less dog socialization now that I'll no longer take her to the dog park until further notice.
