Tfw an author gives you a well developed character, but hasn't presented the antagonist/conflict of the book yet so now your simply begging for that character to not be the bad guy in disguises that's going to stab your heart near the end of the book.

“You're only one person. No matter how hard you try, you can't help everyone. And you're beginning to learn that some poeple can't be helped, not because they're helpless, but because they don't want to be helped.”

As a college student I have to say that I don't have time for anything anymore. All I do is go to class, work, do homework/study, sleep and repeat. Lately I've had to use audiobooks to get some "reading" done which is not to bad. But it's actually nice to sit done and slowly read a physical book in bed with a cup of hot coffe <3

I both hate and love reading in the car. It's a calming and a nice way to get distracted yet I always feel like we always arrive to places faster than what I would like to :'(

3.5/5 🌟
I wanted to start the year by reading a classic that almost everyone has heard of. It seemed like a good idea, but I was proven wrong.
I didn't loved this book as much as I wanted, but I did love bilbo baggins as a character. He was so wholesome and kind through the whole book. I adored him so much <3

3rd book in the Mastermind trilogy.
I've never in my life been so engaged in a trilogy/series like this one. Even Harry Potter wasn't as exciting and intriguing as this one. There was so much happening, but not in an overwhelming way. The book had its breaks here and there, but still managed to keep the story going forward, and never did it took a step back. We got to see all the character in their ups and down, we got to see how they improved from the first book and how they learned from each other. Getting to know them this way made the lose and the wins much more miningfull than you'll think. I would highly recommend picking up this trilogy.

I just finished the second book in the "Mastermind" trilogy by Gordon Korman and all I have to say is that this man loves to play with my emotions in a way no other author has donde before.
