Hi, I was wondering if you could write about the dorm leaders finding out that their s/o is a magical girl, specifically one from madoka magica who had become a witch a while after finding out the truth about magical girls? s/o in this scenario had already died in witch form, but had woken up in a coffin after their death, looking normal despite everything and remembering everything. they still have their magical girl form, witch form, and soul gem, but goes out of their way to avoid using them

Sorry for all the words, I just love madoka magica and twst, so I thought it’d be cool if they interacted

He doesn't even notice anything at first with you. You were a normal person after all. But he got interested in you after you... Stopped him in his overbolt form, and the way you reacted...

That sudden transformation and that sparkling gem, with that weird outfit.

He talks with you after all of these events passed, and you don't want to answer them. You walk away with melancholy in your eyes.

He didn't touch this after that. It takes him a friendship and starting a relationship with you so he can know something, besides seeing your ring and knowing your “magical” form.

You explain him everything you know, how you are supposed to not be here, how you know you are probably dead, and still figuring out your new powers and opportunity here. You even show him your soul gem and explained why you didn't wanted to use your gem to not expose yourself to draining your magic, knowing what it happens...

He is confused but understanding. He reads and reads hoping to find out about something like this in all of the books, even the old ones.

Does his best to protect your soul gem and to not let anyone touch it. Not even in their ring form.

But nothing, so he hopes he can stop your witch form if it evens happens.

... But it happened, after a fight you two had about the laws of the Queen of Hearts, you couldn't stand this and run away, transforming you into a witch.

Turns out, your witch form is more terrifying that his overbolt. And the labyrinth...

Well, let's just say that it does say a lot. Filled with talking rouses with teeth that whispers the rules and depressives toughts. A enormous garden only iluminated with red lights and familiars securing the witch in the center of the garden.

Fighting with your witch form was the thing that more hurted him, even if he looked like a real leader out there protecting everyone.

After slaying you, he cries, he cries so hard only to find...

Your soul gem.

OK BUT WHY- sorry to interrupt your angst moment but. why.

Turns out that you cant fucking die twice, and your witch form only releases all of your corrupted magic and lets you know how to take care of her.

Riddle hugs you so hard and cries on your shoulder, and promises to not be so harsh on you, not even on the rules.

You hug him and kiss his head.

You still don't want to use your powers too much, and the insecurities about your soul not being in your body are huge. But Riddle reassured you that there is no one more human that you.

Still studies everything he can of your magical powers and everything, so expect quizzes and study dates with you so he can figure out a lot of things.

Doesn't know everything, but this queen will protect your soul with everything he has.

Leona Kingscholar

He sense something off about you, well he smelled something off about you and your "lack of magic"

His eyes are on the ring that you always hide from everyone else like you stole it.

He became more active for this, since he didn't wanted Ruggie to do this for him, he will discover this secret of yours on his own and...

Falls in love. That wasn't the idea but he does it tho.

You feel him very close to you, and soon you fall for him too. But you feel that your soul is too far from him to touch you.

Soon, he discover your soul gem and magical girl form, when spying you on the botanical gardens.

“How can my soul reach him and feel him, if its not even on my body anymore...? I must say this to him... But, what if he...?”

His ears go down, now he understands. He has to hear all of this from you so he gets off the tree besides you and reveals himself.

You get more terrified than embarrassed. And something inside you cracks.

That how he met your witch form, in fact. He was the first victim of your labyrinth.

Was totally afraid to use his unique magic on your... Witch... Form. Or whatever that was. He know it was you after all.

Let's not talk about your familiars that looks like lions and horrific animals of the jungle. Besides the plants that look made in the hell, and the enormous garden with no sun at all. Yeah, that labyrinth was hell and sure it explained how you feel.

So with some help from Ruggie who was also dragged into your labyrinth, he smashed your witch form to receive your unconscious body and that weird gem it appeared in your hands.

He mantains your gem with him and growl at anyone who even TRIES to look at it.

When you wake up in Leona's room, you confess everything in tears and he hugs you and pats your head.

“Such a strong herbivore...”

That night he became your boyfriend and protector.

This magical girl thing, he didn't get it. But he understands the situation, a wish from an eternal life of fight, tsk.

You hate to transform you or use your new witch form that learned how to use, but sometimes he is a little bit dense and need to get out of bed.

Even if he is a lazy grumpy lion, he does his best to make you don't even use your magic. Since he doesn't want you to suffer from anything regardless of your soul being trapped in a gem.

And also, knowing the intelligence he carries, soon enough discovers that the magic rocks used on wands can help with taking the impurities out of your soul gem.

For now, he wants you to stay. Because coming back to your world it may means losing you.... Forever.

Azul Ashengrotto

He knows how much interest you have on that weird ring with a jewel with the color of your clothes, so he is quick to see if he can do anything to get it in his hands.

But before even getting into it, he falls in love with the sweet person you are. Treating him like a true person, caring and loving for him.

The octopus just became a sweet boyfriend.

Still, he is curious about that jewel you carry, and he decided to ask. You breath deeply before telling him about everything; The contract, the wish, the powers, and the witches.

His expressions change throughout the whole story, and just climbs to you, with fear of losing you.

This fear consumes him and becomes the reason you enter in despair; He wants to protect you and treats you like a damsel in distress. Always trying tht you dont even do your own homework, or polishing your soul gem.

Sick of this, you try to talk with him, but it feels like talking to Kyubey. So you snap.

This witch form and your labyrinth makes him discover the form he has been treated you, and also scares you when he told you about it.

Full sets of laces around manniquies, the same rom but more distorted as you got inside of every door, and the unframed photos filled with graffiti on a language he couldn't understand.

He has seen some deep things on the ocean, but wasn't prepared for this. Specially the familiar who looked like him.

Jade and Floyd enter the labyrinth and of course fight you alongside Azul, who cries thinking he lost you. But he found your unconscious body besides him when the labyrinth disappears, only throwing your soulgem in his hands.

When you wake up, surprised, he hugs and cries, apologizing in tears about his demeanor. He shouldn't tried to close you up, you are so strong!

You pat his head an laughs.

Now, going with the magical girl theme, he has an idea since he is friends with Idia. The magical transformations and all, he looks up to it and even claps sometimes.

He still didn't get your... Witch form... He is terrified really. Prefers to watch you practicing if needed.

He is curious about what did you wish for. Out of everyone he is the more curious, really.

If he has to pay idia for him to found a way to help you mantain your soulgem, he will do, and like the others, they will found that magic rocks help clean the Impurities off your soulgem.

He understands you can't use your magic since it means you probably draining mentally and physically, so he tries to help, now with limits.

He tries so hard :)

Kalim Al-Asim

This pure boy didn't get this at all, he just thinks that you like gems and to get close to you he buys you both of jewelry.

This makes you laugh and soon accept one of the necklaces with a declaration of love, and soon he makes a whole party about this!

You are so happy that he doesn't do any questions and just enjoys dancing and hanging around with you. He is such a perfect boyfriend.

So you decide to tell him about everything, but...

“ Oh, wanna play magical girls? Sure! ”

He doesn't get this as seriously as you want to be. You even transform many times to show him, but he laughs and thinks its a show, claps and says you are the best witch out there.

And that made you crack.

For your luck, Jamil was near when you got into your witch form, so Kalim didn't got hurted... Not physically, but, emotionally, lets just say he was shocked.

He stand outside, looking at the entrier of the barrier, criying silently while Jamil tried to understand the situation.

Of course he gets to calm Kalim down to destroy this threat to him, and with the help of the Scarabia students, the witch was destroyed and Kalim just hoped to see you...

And you were there, with your unconscious body and your soul gem in your hands.

Jamil tried to push him away and destroy it, not knowing exactly what he was doing, but Kalim put himself in front of you two and made him swear to not touch you.

After waking up in a super comfortable bed, that it was Kalim's, you found your boyfriend fallen asleep on the floor, waiting for you. But this wasn't the only person.

You talk with Jamil, explaining everything to him and he listened. He understood how it was being treated like that from Kalim's part, but he says he it's not so bad, you two need to talk it out. You thank him and then, you feel someone in your lap- It was Kalim, asking for your forgiveness.

Now that you two talked that night, Kalim understands and does his best to not make you use your powers... too much, since he loves the outfit and transformation.

He wants to see it everyday, but he just does this when you tell him that you can't do it: :(

Sweet baby loves your magical powers. And sometimes kisses your ring to make sure you dont feel like he is kissing an empty body!

This mf went with the best tailor in the Hot Lands and got your magical girl costume in exact size so you can use it with him!!!

That was until he flooded the entire kitchen in Scarabia and Jamil screamed.

Your graceful movements and paranoid character catch his attention.

He has never seen someone move or defend themselves like that without magic, how curious.

Makes Rook stalk you but couldn't find anything more than...

... his big crush on you.

So he decided to make his move and befriend you, so he can finally confess.

You two do a great pair! And he likes the way you move and manage on P.E. Seems like something you have done before.

His doubts begin to arise after this. And when he sees your magical form when he wakes up from his overbolt at the vdc...

“Its okay. Im here Vil”

His heart beated faster at the sight of the angel that he told his story in his overbolt form.

Well, turns out you can use magic! But it's another kind. You confess to everyone about this. And explain everything; That does a click on Vil's head. Of course you have done this... You were a fighter!

He becomes obsessed with your look and with your dance, but he may worries too much.

He doesn't want you to show this side of you to anyone else, says, but he wants to protect you.

He makes you dance like a doll on your magical form to please him and to "relieve stress"

But the situation becomes stressful enough when you ask him if you are a bird on a cage again.

And Vil answers that he just does what you should have done before taking that contract: Live.

And that break you. Literally. Your soul gem breaks and he know he fucked up.

The horribly labyrinth that you built in your form witch is confusing and he can't get out. The cages inside makes him understand something.

First, that weird character trying to attack him was you. Second. He really has to see how he treats you.

Rook enters on the picture like the hunter he is, and destroys your witch form alongside Vil.

Your soul gem drops, and Vil takes it with care to your unconscious body and lets it there until you wake up on his bed.

When this happens, Vil and you talk about everything and take on conclusion your new control over your soul gem and his apologize to how he treated you.

He loves your magical girl outfit, but he tries to redesign it. To be more casual, or to be more comfortable to wear.

Your witch form doesn't scare him anymore. He feels pity for that form that you control.

Loves the jewelry that you gain at transforming your soul gem. And the color of it.

“It's the color of your soul, it really suits you...” says while kissing your ring.

You two form a beautiful pairing. A queen and his magical Knight

Idia Shroud

He is another one who instantly notices your attitude and agility.

Spies you from his tablet or the college cameras. That ring seems very familiar to him. And the way you can dance and pass P.E like nothing, how you almost don't feel pain...

He starts to stalk you. Wants to know more about you.

One time, trying to see what you got on your hand, you two bump into each other and Idia tried to start a conversation. But fails miserably.

Your laugh and consideration was everything for him, and soon he forgets his old mission and starts a new one; Befriend you and level up your love for him.

This escalated quickly, and soon you were in Idia's room like his partner, reading some manga. Until he talks.

“You know i used to think that you were a magical girl? Haha cringe...”

But your silence and seriousness when you looked at him gave him everything.

You two sat and you explained to him everything, he is not really good at comforting but...

He is more excited about you being a magical girl.

Yep, he starts rambling about magical girls and everything about your world he knows. This obviously make you comfortable.

He doesn't stop, he insist too much onto seeing you in action, and his grin is terrifying.

He only saw you as a product? As another one of his waifus?

“C...C'mon y/n, i have always wanted to see a real magical girl transformation, i swore that i will look away if there are nude parts...”

That break you, again, and you screamed at him that you are not a fucking anime girl.

And slowly, your gem became dark and...

You transformed his room into a horribly labyrinth full of anime photos of yourself in different poses. But the words in these posters where horrific. “NO HOPE LEFT” “ONLY TO BE SEEN” “IF IM REAL TOUCH ME” “SHOW ME THAT IM YOUR ONLY WAIFU”

His room was filled with these, and when rare figures made out of paper, anime figmas, and plushies started to attack him he screeched. This magic remembered him about the overblot so he knows what to do.

With Ortho's help he gets into the heart of the labyrinth, and your witch form awaits him there. He is terrified but know what to do.

And soon the job has ended. Your body layed on the floor unconscious with your soul gem in hand.

He waits until you wake up to talk about everything and ask for forgiveness.

“I was s..so wrong. I'm so sorry, you shouldn't have transformed because of me...”

He doesn't wanna say that he wants to study you but.

You hug him and talk. You dont feel comfortable with this and for a while you prefer to forget it.

Now, when you are better and everything is forgiven, lets see!!

Idia loves your with form that you invoke. He tries to draw and take data from them.

Your magical girl costume is the best! He doesn't wanna skip any part of it even tought you are tired. But this dork promised to stop for a week.

He gives you a magic sintetic rock that is gray. This one helps you clean the impurities of your soul gem and you are more than happy for his help.

He is your number one fan and always wants to see you happy, being a magical girl or not.

Well, maybe there are witches here...?

Malleus Draconia

Doesn't even notice anything unusual on your behavior or jewelry

Thinks you are another human without magic. And your relationship goes smoothly.

Tsunotaro always appears in your garden and has tea parties with you. Those are the best!

Obviously you two start a relationship and he takes you so gentle like you were a bride made of glass.

But everything change when he noted you using magic in a overbolt fight he has seen.

He goes to you and talks about what was that, and you tell him everything.

You are not a human... He understands, but feels a little hurt you didn't tell him sooner.

Then he slowly stops seeing you. He avoids you obviously. He wants a time to think.

You wait for him at the garden until the tea is cold as ice. And he still hasn't appeared.

This is getting on your nerves, specially the part that he is so difficult to find.

One night you two bump at each other on Ramshackle, and try to get out of his mouth the reason why he is ghosting you.

“I have various feelings to treat before knowing how to treat you, y/n, i don't even feel you are human anymore, how i should refer to you?”

He was more worried about that!?

“ I guess i should have shut my mouth then ”

And he is the only who noticed that you became a with and trapped him in a horrific labyrinth.

An enormous and gigantic castle with rooms so separated that they could be individual houses. Paintings of him distorted and broken. And don't forget the creepy familiars that looked like mini zombie y/n! Slowly corrosing and hoping onto getting on Tsunotaro.

He easily gets to you and your witch form, an horrible part of your heart. And your death body.

He slays it with just one attack and after the barrier is destroyed, he takes you in his arms with your gem.

When you wake up, he apologize for treating you different only because of your title. He understands that. It happens to him always. You two swore to treat each other like partners.

After this, he wants to see more of your magic. But understands if you wanna put it away.

Admires the ability of having your consciousness on a soul. Magical. Making you ethereal

He is the one healing the impurities off your soul gem.

He makes you feel more comfortable with this side of you.

You are not in the normal world anymore, and you are not a witch, a human or a magical girl anymore. You are y/n. And Malleus is fond of you.

“I will protect you, my knight in magical armor, if you swore to me that you will be your own you.”

Maybe staying is a good idea. Playing hero is an option, or not...?

Asks for your help when hunting victims/trespassers, especially if they've been hiding from him for a while

If you are out doing grim reaper activities let him know or he'll think you're in danger. Just a little check-in every few hours will be enough to soothe him

Enjoys your company! Camp can get lonely, and he knows you can handle yourself if anyone gets too defensive (this doesn't stop him from protecting you too)

Bo Sinclair:

His only on-screen kill was 1/3 of a finger, it's a miracle he hadn't gotten himself killed by the time you latched onto him

He did freak out when he realized you were a grim reaper. Poor guy thought you were coming to reap his soul, but the dozens of souls scattered around Ambrose were enough to convince him that he was safe

Likes to watch you chase people, does not like when those people try to defend themselves

Appreciates you protecting him from dying, but don't protect him from everything. He doesn't want to feel weak, so he might get increasingly more reckless if you don't keep him humble

Pyramid Head:

A grim reaper around Silent Hill would be pretty normal all things considered; plenty of lost souls to pick up from a creature called "The Executioner" make it the perfect place for you

He does need the protection! Despite being one of the most feared monsters in town, he can still die, so if there's a way to prevent that for as long as possible he'll gladly take it

Turns killing/reaping into a competition. Whoever wrangles up the least amount of souls has to deal with Alyssa for a full week

He doesn't worry about your safety too much. Most of the people and monsters in Silent Hill try their best to stay away from him, so he assumes they'll do the same for you

Some say your aesthetic does look like one of a magical girl but you kind of brush it off. That was until you were playing cookie run that was when a cookie who shouldn’t be out yet came into view, now looking at it everything looked different where was all your cookies?

For white lily cookie she was amazed by you as for now she can stare up at you with a smile. Now how does she get you here.

If you ever do go into cookie run, before the true events of the story. White lily cookie tries to keep you a secret from everyone as she would sneak off to see you, her baker. You are more magical in person and she couldn’t take her eyes off you.

She had tried to ask you about cookie life but at the time you didn’t have a good grasp on it, you didn’t want to tell her the truth just yet, or you didn’t want to ruin the timeline.

During this time you and white lily Cooke had formed a bound and I believe that’s how you notice white lily Cooke would being spilt. So with your powers as the baker you used all of it to protect your precious white lily cookie hoping one day to see her again.

In white lily cookies dreams you and her are together building a kingdom where every cookie is happy along with her friends. Deep down she knew all it was a dream but she couldn’t be to happy.

So when she awoke and saw you there along with pure vanilla cookie she started to apologize but mostly to you as she felt like she failed you, you were just happy to have her back.

As you want the white lily Cooke you remember meeting for the first time. She was a bit shy at first but thinking you might have been hurt from your decent to earthbread she tried to help you. She was still a bit shy but as you started taking to her she opened up more and more.

Riddlers with A Reader That Possesses Cartoon Physics Powers

Arkhamverse Riddler:

- Oh please, you're insulting him for thinking he would even believe for a moment that you–

- Wait, wait you just painted that tunnel!

- Yet when he went up to it Ed ended up hitting a wall…whereas you went through it…

- Why...how does he hear a train??

- Edward pinches his nose. Just how…it didn't make sense…

- Yet, he also lived in a world of meta humans, aliens, and gods...maybe he shouldn't be so surprised.

- Once the initial shock is over, he's definitely going to use your cartoon physics to his full advantage.

- Especially your ability to patch him up.

Reevesverse/Dano Riddler:

- He rolls his eyes at first.

- It's a really cute idea in theory…

- Although when he saw you balancing yourself on a ledge…

- Only to continue to balance on thin air.

- You scared the living daylights out of him.

- When you show him all the basics; teleporting black holes, painting tunnels, walking on air, plugging guns the usual suspects.

- Eddie is super impressed and feels even luckier to have you on his side.

- And he's relieved you have a way to defend yourself.

- It is Gotham after all.

Zero Year/Capullo Riddler:

- He's going to be highly skeptical at first.

- So he will make you prove him wrong.

- What do you mean you don't want to? You got too!

- He won't leave you alone unless you walk on clouds without falling down, if you can go through painted walls or if you can straighten out a flattened limb!

- He will preemptively shoot a gun at you, of course expecting you to plug the barrel with your finger.

- When you do and the barrel inevitably explodes on itself. You wipe away the gun powder with no hesitation.

- Meanwhile Ed is speechless (for once)

- But he's stupid excited now.

- He is going to take full advantage of this.

Twojar Riddler:

- He chuckles begrudgingly, you and your extremely imaginative ideas…

- That is until he saw your physics save your life in real time.

- You two were out on a date and you went to cross the street.

- Edward had a heart attack when that car struck you

- Yet your body just contoured to the car's silhouette…

- It was slightly unnerving to see but…you were alive somehow!

- You were pretty embarrassed that that was how he saw your physics in action.

- At first he was in disbelief but now he's grateful for them, if they are a means to keep you safe in Gotham.

- Also fully expect him to reuse those teleporting black holes when he needs a quick get away.

Gotham City Sirens Riddler:

- He really shouldn't be surprised.

- If it was anyone else, he probably wouldn't bat an eye.

- But his own s/o? Well that's different.

- He'll be skeptical but intrigued..

- You grab a bucket of black paint, yet when painted on the wall it turns into a scenery of Gotham Park.

- When you two walk through it, Eddie's pretty stunned.

- However, nothing moved him more than when you grabbed another bomb straight from the air to keep him from being hit…

- Yet when it exploded you were just covered in soot with spiky and smoked hair.

- He is still not used to you defying gravity or your lack of pain recognition but…as long as you're okay…in the end.

- It's all that matters…even if it drives him bonkers sometimes.

Telltale Riddler:

- Much like Arkham Riddler, he'll think you're just messing with him.

- Please just stop wasting his time, if you want his attention oh so badly, grab him that tool.

- Before he knows it you hand that exact tool to him.

- At first, this Edward doesn't take notice.

- Albeit after the next couple of requests…and you not moving an inch away from his side…

- Edward is irritated. How are you doing that?

- He's speechless when he sees you just pulling something from behind your back.

- He told you to turn around so your hack faced him and yet, you only pulled something from your front.

- Maybe there is something to your…claim of possessing the ability of cartoon physics.

Young Justice Riddler:

- You mean…those silly Saturday morning cartoons?

- He's hesitant to believe, but like other Riddlers, he lives among meta-humans, aliens, and gods so…it really shouldn’t be that hard to believe.

- If anything he thinks its pretty fascinating all around.

- The way your body contorts to whatever it impacts.

- How you can defy gravity as long as you don’t look down.

- Your limbs stretch, shrink, and twist as if there were no bones.

- He’s also grateful for your powers.

- You’ll be able to protect yourself, even if it’s in a comedic way.

- It’s very impressive to pull an impactful punch and a punchline at the same time.

Hush (DCAU) Riddler:

- Similar to Dano Riddler, he thinks it's cute when you first mention it.

- However, his heart leapt into his throat when you plugged your finger into a barrel of a gun to protect him one night.

- Only to have the gun implode on itself.

- Or whenever it seemed like you broke a bone or a joint you just cracked it back together.

- He's stunned but amazed.

- Like other Riddlers he is assured to know that you have a way to defend yourself if he's not there.

- But please just stop walking on air like that

- It unsettles him and he doesn't not want to be there in case you do look down.

A/N: Whelp, the results are in, and the vast majority of you guys voted to how the Rogues will react to a reader refusing to reciprocate their affections. When I tell you it was hard to narrow down the title to fit the header image lmao but I hope it still makes sense! Starting up first with the Riddlers...duh and the rest will follow shortly I promise! Hope you guys enjoy! And thanks so much for voting again!

Reader Ignores The Riddlers' Affections

Arkhamverse Riddler:

Listen, I don’t think it’s even worth it to see his reaction.

He’s not that big on affection as it is.

Now that you finally somehow warmed him up to the idea…

You’re gonna tease him?

Really?

You know this isn’t…normal for him

Why give him a hard time??

FINE, be that way…it’s not like he enjoys your hugs or kisses anyway…absolutely stupid.

(not really, please don’t ignore him)

There’s no point in mentioning that miniscule sigh of relief he lets out when you kiss his cheek.

He will never admit to it.

Reevesverse/Dano Riddler:

He’s going to immediately think he’s done something wrong.

Did…did he do something wrong?

Oh, gosh…did he forget a birthday? Anniversary? Holiday?? No..he couldn’t have..

You’re always so forthcoming with your hugs and kisses.

At the very least, you always reciprocated. That’s how Edward knew he was…doing it right.

Like many Riddlers on this list, this is new to him.

Please don’t tease him too harshly

Man’s will get mad confused and flustered.

You have to be as quick to apologize and comfort him.

Kiss him until your lips are numb and your arms are falling asleep.

Are you upset? Has your mind drifted to something else?

He puts his hand on your shoulder or taps you lightly.

Okay, you acknowledged him, he gives you his signature tight lipped smile.

He leans in and gives you a peck on the cheek

After a pause he taps his own cheek.

You’re supposed to return it…don’t shrug and walk away!

This leads Ed to anxiously ramble about every decision he made that day, apolgizing for each one, cause clearly you’re mad.

The only way to get him to shut up is to kiss him.

Tell him he’s fine, you were only messing with him.

He’s relieved but, please, don’t do that again.

BTAS Riddler:

Ed loves to give you adoring kisses on the cheek and sweet hugs.

It’s quite routine, whenever he first sees you, either in the morning or in a new room he does it.

You always return the gesture.

So he’s taken aback when you blatantly ignore him.

At first he wants to think you were distracted about something, or something is wrong.

When you remain steadfast, he becomes flustered.

However, the minute you see his face fall, you can’t keep it up.

You hug him and kiss him back, surprising him.

You apologies giggly, saying you only meant to tease him a tad.

You both agree you took it a bit too far.

You promise not to do it again…for now with a kiss.

Zero Year/Capullo Riddler:

Ugh fine, whatever.

Don’t come crying to him when he leaves.

You should’ve taken his affections when you had the chance.

He doesn’t have to stick around, kiss your cheek or hand, wrap his arm around you.

Nope, he just did it cause he knew you liked it.

(also knew it’d give him brownie points to your pants later)

Although that’s likely the reason you stopped returning his gestures in the first place.

Is it so hard to actually be romantic without expecting something?

Likely the only Riddler where you hold out from returning ANY affection for the longest.

It takes awhile, but Ed eventually becomes to frustrated and pent up.

The moment he admits you may have a point or better yet, he may be so torn up to apologize.

You return the praises, kisses, and caresses.

You will never forget the absolute sparkle in his green eyes.

Twojar Riddler:

Edward is taken aback.

He too tries to think if he’s done something to piss you off.

Yet, when you don’t give him a straight answer, he’s likely to pick up on the fact you’re just teasing.

Well, two can play at that game.

What once started as a means to get him to grovel to his knees towards you…

Winds up being an almost two week long challenge to see who yearned more for the other.

Who wins is totally up for debate.

Regardless whoever wins or loses…you both get yours in the end.

Gotham City Sirens Riddler:

Ed cringes, but sighs in exhausted defeat.

He’s already assumed your cross with him because he has been neglectful.

Things have been crazy busy at the office, case after case…

And you both know he can’t afford to say no to too many of them.

When you turn your head from his lips and don’t get off the couch to hug him.

He already knows your hurt, and already sets the wheels in motion to make things right.

Eddie almost breaks your heart when he outright apologizes if he’s been neglectful of you.

You instantly go to him, wrap your arms around him and shake your head.

Insisting that it wasn’t him, you were just teasing, he hadn’t done anything wrong.

Now you’re the one apologizing, not realizing how good of a front you put up.

All is forgiven in the end, with a sweet long kiss.

Telltale Riddler:

Probably, no most definitely, the one least bothered about it.

He finds it annoying more than anything.

You constantly nag him about showing a lack of affection.

So now that he shows it, you're going to ignore him?

Fine, suit yourself.

But don't come bothering him later about him not trying.

It doesn't take long for you to realize you may have messed up.

You instantly apologize, saying you were just teasing.

Even asking how it feels to be ignored…

(which he has been guilty of doing to you when you kiss or embrace him)

Edward rolls his eyes and just sighs.

You guys still have a ways to go, but there has been some progress.

Young Justice Riddler:

Another riddle lad that thinks he's messed up somehow.

When you turn your head to the side to dodge a kiss.

Eddie's hurt almost instantly.

He's also immediately thrown into panic mode.

Oh my god, please comfort him

He’s about to cry

You hug him and kiss him.

You didn’t mean anything by it, just wanting to tease him.

Please, please don’t tease his wee heart like that.

Eddie can only take so much.

Hush (DCAU) Riddler:

Edward instantly assumes you're mad at him for something.

If anyone is aware of his shortcomings it's him.

He wouldn't be surprised if he messed up somewhere.

But when it comes to you, it's harder to sweep under the rug

Ed asks if something is wrong, usually, you return his kisses with your own.

It's extremely discouraging, especially from someone…the only one who has encouraged him in anything.

After dodging a couple more pecks and embraces…you can't keep the act up anymore.

You just can't handle that saddened look on his face.

You spend most of the evening reassuring him, insisting you were just teasing.

You promise not to ever turn down his affections again.
