if i had a nickel for every time dream saved himself from falling into the void at the last second with a pearl he got from one of the hunters dying i’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot but it’s incredible it happened twice
the 2v1 waterfall pearl clutch was my favorite clutch before in all of dream’s manhunts, it was the iconic moment that cemented dream as the best and manhunts as a pro series, it was so iconic it was even his youtooz and the fact that it gets remade? on the final manhunt? but it was different, different in a way that showcases his skill and prowess throughout the whole series, because let’s be honest-the original pearl clutch was many parts luck (even if it did involve the movements towards the falling pearl, but the whole killing situation-chance) but this time? this time dream had to utilize his fishing rod and not only retake the steps of the past, but also did it better
irl manhunt will be so funny because you have dream who works out pretty regularly and is in a good shape, george who if he runs more than 5 minutes he'll die and sapnap who thinks he can beat a bear
Okay but can we talk about how Sapnap sacrificed himself to break the flying machine, giving us all the epic plays of that ending because holy shit that was the best thing I've ever seen and it wouldn't have happened without him
This Manhunt was truly the perfect ending for this masterpiece of a series.
We got incredibly hopeless situations, those moments when you think all hope is lost because how would Dream manage to escape those situations. But he masters those situations time and time again.
Then there were those intense stealth moments that got you on the edge of you seat, because no way Dream actually manages to sneak past the hunters, right? But he manages to sneak by unnoticed.
We got those moments that showcase how well he knows Minecraft and how to utilize and at times abuse the mechanics. Using mining fatigue in the water temple against the hunters, the bow boost
And there are times that the hunters foil his plans. Because all five of them are incredible players and their skill and teamwork should not be dared to be underestimated. However, even when Dream’s plans are foiled and he is forced to a death match over the void he still manages to use the little things at his disposal to beat the odds.
And yeah, some situations require a huge amount of luck, like managing to fishing rod an ender pearl while slowly sinking down into the void. That was lucky. But to witness all those sequences of events that ties together this last manhunt was incredible. Dream truly did amazing. And this manhunt was a fantastic worthy final to this series.
dream started the series with 926k subscribers and now, 2 years later, he has 28.5 million subscribers. within two years. the final manhunt premiered an hour ago and it already has over 1 million views. he's come so far, im crying
George is the comedy relief character of Manhunts. That pathway from the portal to the fortress was nothing sort of a cartoon skit and his copious amounts of random ass deaths were just priceless. He's funny but he's not even trying to be which makes it even funnier
