Today, you're gonna learn the CORRECT way to use pronouns. This is the way GEN X learned; the CORRECT way, not the silliness that's being passed off as "muH eDuCatiOn" today.

Communists adding to the Free-Market by buying Commie T-shirts will forever be funny. They don't see the irony in it at all and the BEST part of this photo is the smug look on his face....he really thinks he did something, huh? LOL!

@faifenaco ....that's a GREAT question, totally legit and needs to be answered, so ya ready? Here we go....
Let's go back to 1948, things got pretty tense in the Democratic party. Ya see, they introduced this civil rights thing at their convention, and President Truman signed an order saying African-American soldiers should get fair treatment. But this idea didn't sit well with everyone, especially in the North and South. Then in 1952, they picked John Sparkman from Alabama to try and make peace in the party, especially down South.
But as time rolled on into the late 1950s, the Democrats started getting more on board with the Civil Rights Movement. Cities like Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, and Houston were changing fast with new businesses and people moving in. A lot of African Americans were coming to the South for jobs and a fresh start, and they were all about this new way of doing things.
Then, in the '60s, Congress passed these big Civil Rights and Voting Rights Acts, which was a massive deal. Once again, not everyone was happy about it. You had guys like Lester Maddox and human-shitbag Democrat, George Wallace in the South still clinging to segregation, mostly appealing to less-educated folks who liked the Democrats but also wanted to keep things segregated.
After the Supreme Court said. "no more segregation in schools" in '54, things got pretty heated in the deep South. Some places were slow to change, and there was a lot of righteous violence over it.
You had guys like George Wallace down South sticking to their segregationist guns, but at the same time, the Democratic Party nationally was starting to change its tune on civil rights. Leaders like John F. Kennedy (JFK) and Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) were pushing for laws to support civil rights movements, like the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
Now, African Americans, who used to roll with the Republicans (because of Lincoln and all that), started shifting toward the Democrats during the New Deal (FDR) and especially during the civil rights era. The Dems were talking big about civil rights and rolling out social welfare programs that helped (and hindered) a lot of black communities and families. ((Side Note: Some people note Democrats like LBJ saw an opportunity to "BUY BLACK VOTES" with social programs, giving them Government programs, such as welfare. but with caveats such as there could be no "MAN" as head-of-household", ergo, Government replaced black men as the "Head" of the household and a lot of black-women became dependent on the state for financial help hence where we are today with why there are a lot of single, black, mothers --- but that's ANOTHER story for ANOTHER time))
But get this: while some Democrats were resisting integration, the Republicans were going through their own changes. Barry Goldwater and his conservative crew were gaining steam, pulling in more conservative white voters, even down in the South where folks weren't so hot on civil rights.
So, even though you had Wallace and his "Dixiecrats" in the Democratic Party, a lot of African Americans saw the Dems as the better option. The party was moving in a direction they liked, despite the segregationists still hanging around. Crazy, huh?
But as time went on, the Democrats stopped being the party of segregation. African Americans started voting for them big time, producing leaders like Julian Bond, John Lewis, and Barbara Jordan.
In the 1952 and 1956 presidential elections, Dwight D. Eisenhower, a Republican, managed to snag some Southern states. Then in '56, there was, T. Coleman Andrews who ran for president with a party called the States’ Rights Party, but he barely got any votes.
Fast forward to the 1960 election, and Richard Nixon, another Republican, won over some Southern states. Plus, this senator from Virginia, Harry F. Byrd, got votes from electors in Alabama and Mississippi who weren't pledged to anyone.
By the time 1964 rolled around, Barry Goldwater, a Republican, took all four states that Democrat (KKK Enthusiast) Strom Thurmond had won back in '48. And in '68, Nixon or human-shitbag, George Wallace, running as a third-party candidate, pretty much dominated every Southern state that had been part of the Confederacy, except Texas.
Meanwhile, lots of white Southerners started leaning towards the Republicans. They were into conservative stuff like lower taxes, traditional values, and national security...this attracted outliers like "Dixiecrats". The Democrats were getting too liberal for the "Dixiecrat" branch of the segregationist that remained in their party. That's why when you see some moron / idiot waving a Confederate flag around, they're usually at a GOP event, NOT because the GOP is racist, but because it believes in lower taxes, traditional values, and national security. It also explains why you see Democrats like Joe Biden and Bill Clinton going to KKK member funerals and giving them eulogies.
Politics makes strange bed-partners, huh? What I've always wondered is why do Jews vote Democrat when Democrats historically HATE Jews for the most part of it? Take a look at the Democrat Party now for example, 1/2 of the Democrat party is in shambles over the other 1/2's support for Israel. All of the GOP supports Israel, hands down.
To wind this up, yeah, over the years, there was this slow but steady shift from Democrat to Republican in the South, driven by a bunch of different factors, like I said, politics makes strange bed partners.

WHAT'S RUINING THE AMERICAN DREAM?
That's a good question. Where do I begin? WHERE? Hmmmm, I'm gonna squarely put most of the blame on our culture.
Let's think about it, we made sex casual, music soulless, porn accessible, art monotonous, obesity the norm, journalism corrupt and heavily biased, we feminized men, made the family unimportant and womanhood undefinable.
Psyops are right in front of us and we’ve been conditioned not to recognize them.
We're a culture that literally celebrates dismembering what could be a child, while it's still in the womb -- and we yet can’t understand why our country is afflicted with so many mass shootings. I think that's a good start on just the tip of the iceberg of what's ruining the American dream.
With that said, I'm an optimist and I think we can fix this but in doing so, we first must realize that we DO have a national problem and start taking responsibility and make steps (even if they are baby steps) into what's ailing us.
