In honor of X-Men Apocalypse releasing…this is quite possibly one of my favoritest Angel/Psylocke moments.  Betsy gives Warren the life he wanted and never had…right after she shanks him with the celestial seed.  A whole lifetime lived in seconds…and her refusal to leave when it’s over still rips my guts out.  Just a truly beautiful, well-put together sequence.

I have to say, the sight of John "Pyro" Allerdyce in his 40s in the Deadpool & Wolverine trailer is a wild thing, because neither the comics nor the previous movie timelines have really allowed that before — either he dies offscreen in the Original/Dark DOFP Timeline, or he dies fairly young of the Legacy Virus in the comics and vanishes from the narrative for twenty years only to come back wild and young in the Krakoan Era.

My guy is a survivor, at long last, and like, I Got Some Feelings About That.

In all honesty, I have no idea. 😩

I know that they had an iconic date (I think their first date?) in Uncanny X-Men #319 (1994), and in X-Men VOL. 2 #31 (1994). Other than that, my knowledge of comic issues is kind of... not there. There are just so many over so many years, they've been a couple since the mid-90s.

Hopefully, someone with more knowledge than I have will see this and can recommend a reading list.

For the Sexy Days of Summers Event happening right now we've invited Scott Summers (Cyclops) fans to take part in spreading more love for him out there on the internet by creating fanfiction, fanart, fan works, etc. to celebrate our favorite X-Men leader and the possibility of what if.
