President John F. Kennedy and his brother, Robert Kennedy, leave Children’s Hospital in Boston on Aug. 8, 1963. JFK’s third son, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy, was born in Falmouth the day before, five and a half weeks early, and rushed to Children’s Hospital in Boston shortly after for a treatment of a respiratory ailment. The baby died on Aug. 9, 1963.Â
