Is anyone here Native American, open to DMs, and into Pokemon? I'm writing/drawing a pokemon national park based on several national parks in America (mostly Badlands National Park, for now), and I have some questions ab how I should go about depicting the indigenous people(s) who live there
Here's the intro that I've got so far, if you're curious

zebstrika is my favorite mon ever and it is SO criminally underrated so seeing your art made my entire week thank you
Hell yeah I'm glad!! Did you know, Zebstrika is the fastest ungulate in the pokemon world not counting legendaries? Which makes them an analog of pronghorns (and they do have the horns for it!)

For future reference I’d rather not get requests out of the blue. That said,
REMEMBER THAT PREY ANIMALS STILL HAVE ATTACK STATS

On one hand, their body temp is high plus they avoid water which makes them uninhabitable for most of the parasites they ingest, and this makes them excellent carrion scavengers and generally unpicky eaters (which works with how much food they have to get to produce flame)
On the other hand, their attacks mean that their food are often cooked/decontaminated, which means their digestive system is naive(?) to gut parasites. So they probably gets folded by tapeworms on the regular (which coincides nicely with how fire-types have low defenses)

Step 1. Oh what if one of the kids is from a different line? Maybe the flygon line, they're both dragon- and ground- types
Step 2. ...they're both big carnivorous dragons, one of which is based on an insect with scary-high kill rate. Even if we're going with reptilian garchomps who eat like once a week that's still a lot of pokemon. What kind of habitat could support both of these-
Step 3. Okay so what if there's only very few Flygons. Vibravas are really weak, most trapinches probably die after they evolve. And there's preys big enough to support garchomps
Step 4. What would those dead vibravas feed? What would the prey pokemon feed on? Would they even be grass types? What's the food web in this one silly drawing like??
Step 5. (it's 3am and you are now beyond help)

How come papa is a middle Evo but has 2 fully evolved kids?
I live by the 'evolution does not equal age' headcanon
I got a longer ramble re: why a pokemon evolves in the backburner but tldr Gabite dad couldn't afford the higher risk, territory conflicts, and food demand of being a garchomp, but his kids chose to bc the other garchomps (their dad's generation) are getting old and they think they can fight them for their own territories

I love that sone of y'all think the Trapinch is adopted and I'm not denying that idea! It's really nice!! But,
As of gen 8 the Flygon and Garchomp lines are in the same egg group... That could be his entire whole bio kid that he and some gal made....
