Yeah… what’s the cycle again? Once every 38 years? Cause this is my first time seeing this, so must not be all that frequent. So you hate the beach but you hate snowmen more? What have the poor snow-people ever done to you?
You’ve got a year-round driveway person? Cause, what, you were just waiting for the day that it began to snow in the middle of summer? Well now I’m definitely gonna try to pay them more than you do. My old place had a property manager but now that I’m living in the old family home I’ve got like a driveway and a sidewalk that need taken care of, I might just need to get that priority shoveling spot.
Usually 38 years, but sometimes it gets messy because of the moon from what I’ve heard. So really, you should be lucky that you even get to witness it. Snow-people are cold and I hate the cold. It’s not fun to pat snow together to create something and then slowly watch it melt
Well, he does the lawn in the summer, so I guess he’s not a driveway kid year round. Miles don’t do this to me, how will I survive if you steal the child? I sent him your way, it would be wrong to take him from me
How is the house?

Shit, you’re right. I forgot about the annual end of July snowfalls. How could I forget. Very in season - July is meant for snowfall not for sun-rays. Who needs a beach day when you can make a snowman.
Not a bad idea, in theory. Know of any local kids looking to shovel snow in July? Cause off the top of my head I sure don’t.
.
It’s a bit like leap year, only happens every few years, so it’s completely understandable that you mixed up the frequency. I hate the beach and I would still pick it over snowmen, even if this is a normal occurrence.
Of course! The child who I pay to do my driveway is year round. He mows the lawn sometimes. I think he has a younger sister who works like that too. I’ll send you their info - don’t pay them better than I do though, or they might pick you over me in the case of a snowstorm :/

I know I grew up here so cold weather should never really shock me… but snow in late July? The worst part of this isn’t even just that I have to shovel my driveway it’s that I just know there are some assholes who are going to use this to claim that global warming “isn’t real.”
But anyway, if anyone’s got a good snowblower they recommend getting I’d love to hear about it. All this shoveling is getting a bit too strenuous.
.
Oh, Miles, climate change isn’t real! Look at all this in season weather! Nothing to see here, all is fine. Pay a child to do the work for you, that way it isn’t so strenuous and they get some cash, it all works out

Have you found her yet? Do you need any help looking?
Someone thinks that they found her! But with gravity being the way it is right now, I wouldn’t be surprised if I need help getting her again later

Oh, diet changes are serious business, I’ve heard.
Forget the floating, though, there’s something in Starf–
Lives have been ruined over diet changes.
But why are we talking about pet diets when we COULD be talking about WHATEVER THE THING IN S–
In short, Dia is entirely valid. Is there a way to get her to follow, without picking her up?
.
If you were able to ask her and get a response, I imagine she would tell you that I am ruining her life
She likes cactus juice and will follow that anywhere. It’s a strange treat she loves

Fair. Though I wouldn’t be able to resist playing in the snow. So I’d understand them fucking off from their job. A swamp? Fun. Do tell?
You like the snow? I don’t love the cold that much, but my cat does.
I think they set off people in Louisiana? I think they said the swamp was haunted too

I saw a floating cat in the mens bathroom of the bar nearby…. I don’t know if it was your cat. What does Dia look like?
.
In a bar? That cat must be very confused. She’s black and white, pretty fluffy and probably looks utterly miserable. Try not to touch her though!

Messed up? Like everywhere? My feet seem nice and planted on the ground.
Wasn’t gonna, anyway. Animals don’t really get along with me, but figured if I saw her I could let you know.
.
I guess it’s not everywhere then. Lucky you. It seems to be coming back to my house every once in a while
Someone thinks they got her, but still if you see her around, let me know!

Ah, that’s certainly a much more worrisome situation. Yes, I’m talking with a young woman who helped some people down from such an event… I really wish I was surprised by this sort of thing happening.

I suppose these types of things keep things interesting at least. Never know what you’re going to get in White Crest

If your character were in a game of dead by daylight, what would their play style be?
[OOC]
Confusion. Bea would play with confusion. She is terrible at video games and gets frustrated that she's bad at it. She'd play like three games, always die on the hook because she keeps getting caught after blowing up generators. She'd curse the killers and yell at her sisters to teach her better, even if they tried, she wouldn't get better. She wouldn't play again after, unless someone asked her to and they had no one else to play with, but she'll watch someone play. She'll curse at the killers then too, try to give advice for the game like she understood what was helpful, and cheer on the survivors when they make it. (She'd take some credit for their wins too, just to tease whoever is playing.)

A floating cat? Does this catlike, normally struggle with gravity? I mean, I have an owl that struggles with gravity but that’s just because he’s… lacking in the brain cells department. Also snow in nearly July, is that like a thing here? As a bird I was not prepared.
She does not usually struggle this much with gravity, though jumping can be hard for her. This and the snow is just a thing that the town decided to do, stuff like this happens sometimes. you get used to it.

A… floating cat? I assume this isn’t just performance practice gone wrong?
.
I wish it were, then it would be easier to find her! Unfortunately, this is a case of White Crest being White Crest. I hear people are floating now too.

It wasn’t normal for your cat to float prior to all of this, right? Just figured I’d ask. I think I saw my backyard neighbor’s corgi going by but he looked pretty happy about it. Like sky diving for pets, I guess.
.
Absolutely not normal, she doesn’t even like jumping that high off the ground. Skydiving for pets seems like a business opportunity that hasn’t been tapped into yet. Maybe you should look into taking that over
