okay so edith was never (really: i.e. she never hit the kids, never shouted, screamed, called them names; things that are associated with overt abuse) abusive, just neglectful due to her own trauma, and while claire completely understands that her mother had her own shit going on, she just wishes that her mother was for a lack of a better word, better. claire sees how mothers act: her neighbor simone is literally the worlds best mom (in her eyes), and claire has heard stories about her friends' mom's being loving, caring, open, warm, and all she can think about is the fact that her mother was dead before she died in that car crash; too focused on surviving her husband to really love openly.

where is home for someone with no solid ground?

Claire knows that home isn't always a place, that your home can be people as well, but she's always wanted a place that felt like what's she's been told home is supposed to feel like. she loves her friends, she loves living with the avengers (most days), but none of those are what she deems as home because she always feels less than the others       probably part of being the only normal human on the team. sadly in the first couple days working at SHIELD she thought she had found home but with how that ended up playing out, well, she quickly got rid of that thought.

If it seems I only rp with a few people & nobody else, it’s because they are the most frequent and loyal partners. The difference between them and you, is that they engage with me and our muses, and are equally invested in our verses and ships as I am with theirs. It has nothing to do with “elitism” or me being “a scary rp partner in a clique.” If you are a chill mun, our muses mesh, and you’re bold enough to respond back to me when I write with you or send you stuff, you’re in. Much of the rpc seems to think only rp’ing with 2-4 people makes you scum or some kind of snob, but I assure you, I rp with who is willing to talk to me and stick with my muses. If you’re busy sitting on your side of the computer screen, coming up with fake scenarios in your head that I’m some kind of scary beast that will eat you alive for daring to send me a meme or ask for a plot– you’re doing yourself a disservice. I rp with people that engage and want to be a part of things. It’s that easy!!!!

I know we've already interacted a lot, but I am

OKAY SO THERE ARE A LOT !!! but if I'm completely honest, I think I'd really like it a thread with time travel!! Just the idea of Claire && Bucky interacting in the past fills me with joy! Especially adore the idea of like Claire interacting with Howling Commando era Bucky because like she's one of Claire's (few) women role models and the fact that in the future they become such good friends family!! And idk I just love the idea of it - Claire knowing the future and wanting to change it for her friends but knowing that she can't change everything or her whole future is wrong!! It's perfect!!!

OR !!!! Winter Soldier!Bucky interacting with Claire! Maybe during Claire's earlier years when she was a freelance merc and they went after the same person and Claire accidentally grabbed Bucky when she heard the sirens and gets stuck with a brainwashed assassin and all the angst with that because Claire is very full of herself at this time and Bucky is literally the definition of danger at this moment and Claire just decides that she's going to help this stranger [ bc Claire thinking this person could ever be Bucky Barnes, her childhood hero and literal (sniper) role model?? not happening ] find her way home (not knowing that home is literally Evil) and maybe not taking her there for some reason? Idk, a lot of my plots are just angst and drama because I actually live for those.
