It’s here! A preview of the story I wrote for @bagginshieldzine​!! This is my first ever zine contribution and this story is really special to me.

It’s looking like a November 28th launch and there are a lot of great authors and artists participating. Be sure to check it out, we’d love the support!

Thorin shifted slightly, his hands fidgety, and Bilbo couldn’t help but think he seemed nervous. 

“How are you liking the playlist?” he finally said. 

“Oh! I really like it. I’ve listened to the whole thing multiple times.” 

Thorin smiled and nodded, “I’m glad. Listen, I was wondering…” Thorin started, but then stopped, looking away. He looked back at Bilbo, who was waiting expectantly. 

“Well, um. They are actually playing here next weekend. Well, in downtown. And I was supposed to be going with a friend, but he had to back out. And I was just. I didn’t know if you. Um. Wanted to go?” 

Bilbo blinked a few times, processing the question. Thorin wanted him to go to a heavy metal show with him? Bilbo almost laughed at the thought, but caught himself. He’d hate to make Thorin feel like he was laughing at him, so instead he smiled. 

“Sure! That’d be great.”
