The two of them were sitting in a field of beautiful flowers, with a basket between them. A few flowers stuck out of the basket, ones Tohru planned to keep. When she got home, she planned to put them in a vase. Reaching into the basket, she pulled out a white daisy, placing it behind her friend’s ear.

A rosy pink blush colored Tohru’s cheeks. “Ah! You really think so? That’s sweet of you to say.” Brown eyes gazed down at her hands. She played around with her hands nervously, clasping them together and pulling them apart. 

Tohru smiled up at Ashley. “You’re a great friend,” she told her.

She stood on the tips of her toes, trying to reach a book on a high shelf that was in the library. Why did they keep the Warrior Cats books on such high shelves, if they were meant for children to read them?

Her face brightened as she heard his response, watching as he retrieved the book for her. “Th-Thank you. B-Being k-kind is v-very important.” she commented. Lenny retrieved the book from his grasp, flashing him a greatful look as she did. “I wish th-there were m-more k-kind p-people in this world.” she added.

“A cell?” Confusion covered the brunette’s face as she tipped her head to the side. Blue eyes narrowed. Why did she belong in a cell? She’d done nothing wrong! “Why? What makes you think I belong there?” she asked. The master has told her how dangerous certain humans could be. He said prison was one place she never wanted to go, because if she got caught the government would discover she was not human.

“I can’t go in a cell!” Panic welled up inside of Pruedence at the mere thought of being tossed into a barred cell. She’s seen a cell up close before. There was one in the basement of her home. “No! No! No!” she shouted. Pruedence stomped her feet like an upset child. “We can’t ever go to jail! It’s dangerous!”
