That's the thing! Stan loved running the Mystery Shack, and Ford loved his multiverse adventures. Sure, it was all in service of Fixing the Biggest Respective Mistakes of Their Lives, but they were having fun.

Stan and Ford are sad, smelly, screwed up old men, but they also have a lot of fun.

Answer for #10: if I had the resources to provide you with all of the support/funds/encouragement/distribution/etc. then Paris and Leeds would be as much a science-fiction byword as Kirk and Spock.

Thank you! That did give me the encouragement to try a pass at Leeds, who decided to be difficult in real life by only looking the way I wanted him to that one time.

Now, the other side of the coin is that if mentioning they're in a romantic dynamic adds nothing to the dynamic, the romance part is going to fall flat. It should put the fun character situation in a fun new angle. But you gotta have something to work with, see.

It's simple, you see. If you can't describe the appeal of the romantic dynamic without mentioning is a romantic dynamic, you don't have a fun character situation. You have physically attractive cardboard cut outs. Infuriating, if they have personalities otherwise.
