Miles Miller is laying on the floor, his two precious little princesses on either side of him as he's reading a story from Grimm's Fairy Tales. Alice and Essie are barely a year old, but they decide to both smush their daddy's cheeks with their little hands and give him kisses (lol).

You're the best Sebbie and I love you for it!!! Spring is officially here in this corner of the States so the cottagecore thoughts/thots are everywhere (lol).

Sebbie??? Perhaps some thoughts/thots to curb the boredom?? I totally feel that though, I'd love nothing more than to go ride my bike with my friends and make like we're gonna go find One-Eyed-Willie's treasure.

You and Rhett love to run barefoot through the woods with each other, feeling the grass and the cool, squidgy mosses under your feet as you climb over the rocks and fallen logs. He loves seeing you in your pretty spring dresses, gathering up all the flowers in the little pink basket he got you for Easter. Sometimes he'll hide little treasure boxes in your favorite spots in the woods for you to find, one of which contained yours and his wedding rings when you got married.

And when you started welcoming your kids into the family, you and him started hiding them in the woods for your children to find, in the hopes they would continue it when they had children of their own.

Sebbie I hope this helps, I've been going through some stuff myself and just know that if you ever need to drop by, I'll always answer.

"All I'm sayin' is," picking back up on the hanging conversation, he reaches out to poke his finger into an open dish of sprinkles. The ones made to look like pearls. There were more, but half got lost when you accidentally ripped the package open. "You'll have a lotta time on your hands when ya leave the Navy."

The mixer shuts off. 

"Who said I was leaving the Navy?" 

Rhett's lifting a pearl to his mouth, obnoxious tongue poking out to catch it. "You, last night." 

"And the night before that." You add, with a nudge of your shoulder.

And the night before that one. Sometime five mornings ago. Again, last week. After the most recent deployment and the one before that. Before the engagement and way before the house was bought...actually, when has he not talked about this?

The pearl cracks so loud that you almost wonder if it chipped Rhett's tooth. His brows furrow, shifting the hunk of sugar around in his mouth. "The hell are you two doin'...?" 

"We're baking our wedding cake samples," and even with Bob saying it so matter of factly, it doesn't sound right. Nothing about this picture is correct.

Rhett's head tilts to the side. Even the dark hair cascading into his face can't hide those questioning eyes. 

"See?" Throwing your hand out as if Bobby hasn't noticed the puppy-dog of a man standing on the other side of the island. "Even he's confused by this."

Nobody bakes their own wedding cake samples. This is your sign to find a better bakery! Before the stakes grow even higher! 

Careful, Bob pulls the mixer from the bowl, turning around to drop the beaters into the sink. "He's always confused."

My dear, I hope you're ok with me sending in some Rhett thoughts/ thots on this beautiful Sunday afternoon, because I still can't get over Rhett Abbott being Snow White coded.

You guys have had some pretty strange critters in your care before, everything from baby cows to bunny rabbits and even a little fawn who still comes back with his mate and babies every now and again. But you guys were totally unprepared for when Peach came to your doorstep.

Peach was a stray who showed up on your doorstep one day when you and Rhett had gone down to the farm store in town for a few things. You had come home to find a mangy looking little tabby cat on the porch looking in at Garfield. She was a mess to say the least with some scabby marks and missing patches of fur from where she had been itching. She kept curling around yours and Rhett's legs, begging to be taken in, meowing like crazy. You guys already had Tiny and Willie out in the book barn, but you figured one more couldn't hurt.

You guys took Peach to the vet and immediately and got her wounds treated as well as the mange and after a few days she was good to go home with you. You both helped nurse her back to health after she got home from the vet's and she takes to Garfield pretty quick. The two quickly become inseparable. Peach is almost always curled up on Royal's lap at the end of the day and when Cecelia's crocheting or knitting, she'll sit right near her and watch.

So imagine everybody's surprise when you all wake up one morning and discover Garfield and Peach with their litter of newborn kittens in their little hidey box under the stairs (lol).

Rhett is absolutely obsessed with all the kitties and pretty much for the next forever there's at least one following him or in his lap. HOW ADORABLE!
