I HC there’s certain regulations humans have to follow on the Citadel regarding our hair.

Humans are the only species with hair, that shit falls off and gets everywhere, it gets stuck to everything, IN everything. I can see them writing in specific laws saying humans have to keep their hair cut short or up in public spaces purely for safety and sanitation reasons. Thankfully we have plenty of hair styles to choose from, so it’s not a huge issue. We may not she’d like dogs but we still shed. Do you really think the vents on the Citadel can handle hair getting stuck in them? A stray hair ends up in a turians meal and that turians getting a swift trip to the damn hospital. Not to mention humans canonically have the most germs.

So I imagine the most common hair styles among Citadel humans are short buzz cuts, tight braids, and buns. A ponytail is bare minimum.

I can picture all the long haired humans getting together before work to make sure their hair is held down enough. Lots of hair gel. Bonnets and caps get used a whole lot.

The only consequence is now instead of having to deal with loose hair everyone has to deal with said humans CONSTANTLY losing their hair bands and pins

Here’s my 76 CAMP build for a Mothman Church/home, gonna put some of the lore for it under the cut

- the church follows all three of the Mothmen believing all three are a part of one whole.

- the cells are for converts. They will spend a month inside, praying and fasting in isolation in order to cleanse themselves for their anointing.

- the punch bowl is full of Nukashine.

- the mounted heads are those of the false gods, slain by the Mothmen and their children

what's going on in the congo since there's also a genocide happening over there as well:

to sum it up, people in the congo are literally being worked as slaves to mine for this material called coltan, which is very valuable as its used for things like phones, laptops, just electronics in general. Congo is the number 1 producer for this material and the places behind this genocide is America, Britain, France, and Israel, wow what an absolute shocker. The worst places probably to ever exist benefit from a genocide. These places are funding Rwanda and Uganda military groups, to go into the Congo and kill MILLIONS of people. This has also been going on for YEARS. Many women have been SA'd and men are forced to work in INHUMAN conditions, resulting in their death and the colonizers are absolutely benefitting from this. 6 MILLION people have been killed and half of them are literally kids. Many of the Congolese people have also been displaced.

Never uploading my thoughts to Reddit again, they don’t get it THEY DONT GET IT!

Sometimes I wonder how Shepard feels after being rebuilt.

They died. They know they died, they remember so clearly choking in the vacuum of space, freezing first then burning. But they were brought back, memories and personality all intact. Just as they were. Supposedly.

Do you think they lie awake during the sleep cycle wondering if they’re really themself? Do they stare in the mirror for hours trying to recognize themself because something just isn’t right? Shepard is still themself, the same face and everything, perfected down to the last freckle, but at the same time they’re not. They’re just a perfect copy.

Does Shepards skin feel to tight? Do they constantly itch and ache because they’re subconscious doesn’t recognize this new body? Do you think their LI sometimes has to hold them tight because they feel like they’re literally falling apart at the seams? Do they have to be reminded sometimes that they’re real?

Shepard is the first person to be brought back to life from nothing, they were as dead as dead can be, according to Jacob they were just a pile of meat, no one, organic or synthetic can possibly understand what they’re going through. They’re the closest thing to a living Frankenstein monster and we’re just supposed to believe that Shepard is okay?

Gods clone-shep breaks my fucking heart. The fandom and the DLC itself treats them as a joke but they are so fucking tragic. Brookes was the real villain and she doesn’t get enough hate.

When we meet clone-shep they’re only six months old. They look like an adult, talk like an adult, they have the faculties of an adult, the thought processes of an adult, but no memories of their own, no life experience to teach them morals. They have the life experience of an infant.

From the moment they wake up they’re told they were just a bag of organs for the person you’re a copy of. They have nothing, own nothing, not even their face is theirs. But Brookes is whispering in their ear, feeding this new naive mind hatred and anger and jealousy. And Clone-Shep follows it, because like an infant they’ll follow and trust the first guiding voice they hear. No one has Clone-Shep’s back except Brookes, Brookes only wants to help them be stronger, Brookes knows what best, Brookes is giving them a purpose. If they follow Brookes they can be happy.

Clone-Shep truly doesn’t know any better. That’s not me making excuses or infantilize them, they truly don’t know, without memories they can’t know.

And the “why you and not me!” line? Soul crushing. Clone-Shep is hurting so fucking much and just want to have a purpose, just wants to belong.
