It had been a rather long, rather strenuous, day. Zelda had eased her aching muscles with a warm bath and emerged in a damp braid and soft dressing gown. She almost missed the little chocolate sitting atop the table beside her door, wrapped in a pretty, shiny red foil. Zelda’s brows furrowed at first, inspecting the surprise gift curiously before it dawned on her that the treat must have been from Sora—something from his world, perhaps?

She smiled and unwrapped the chocolate carefully, smoothing and folding the foil wrapping to keep before taking a small taste of the treat itself. It melted on her tongue and her smile softened.

“I shall have to give him a gift in turn,” she hummed, before putting her folded foil away in her desk and settling back down to work.

"Huh?" Vanitas stares down at the wrapped goodie in his hand. His eyebrow arches under the helmet and he turns it around, noting how shiny the wrapping is. Interesting...

"You didn't poison this, did'ja?" He asks in a bored voice, closing his hand around the treat. He wasn't going to eat this now.

It hasn't at all dawned on Vanitas that this is supposed to be a special day.

Wait... hold on... animals couldn't have chocolate. "Sorry buddy," he says instead, looking so regretful. "I hope your owner gets you a treat." So sad.

Cineris didn't even like candy that much, let alone chocolates as sugary as this, but to nearly be given one and then to be outright denied ( even with good intentions )... ticked something in him.

No, he won't be left out of... he's not really sure what he's being left out of. Doesn't matter.

With a loong stretch of his little body and reaching out with his pointy paws(?), the flood gingerly pulls Sora's hand back down to him, looking at him with his sad eyes.

He snatches the chocolate and takes off in a sprint before melting under the nearest door.

Hi everyone. So this was a long time in coming, but I tried my best to avoid it. Might as well bite the bullet. OTL

Thing is I can’t roleplay right now and technically haven’t been able to for a while. I’ve had so many negative experiences the last few years that even when I do get some plotting, threads, interactions, etc, the negative part of my brain is always going “haha, wonder how long this will last”. “Wonder what will go wrong”. “What’s the point it’s just gonna end in disaster anyway”.

Most of it isn't actually RP related, it's stuff that happened in real life, but the effect is the same. It's not a healthy mindset to do a hobby in with other people involved. So I’m gonna take a step back and try to focus on other things. I am in the process of moving Mickey over to a new blog but tbh… I may still not have the drive to play him either. So I’m going to wait to finish setting up the blog before advertising him OTL

I’m gonna focus on writing fanfiction for a bit, to try to get my passion back. I think getting back into long-term writing will do me some good.

Anyway, you all take care, but I’ll see you around. IDK when, but I can never stay away for long. Will probably be when the new game comes out lol -dabs-
