Do you believe in reincarnation?
I don't know. The idea of being reborn into something else is a little weird, if I'm honest.

Let’s have a night watching Christmas movies and then we can drive around and look for the best lights.
Only if hot chocolate and Christmas cookies are a part of this too! We have to go the whole nine yards! All or nothing, baby!

What are you excited about most in your life right now?
Can I say Christmas? Because I love Christmas! The season just brings a feeling of happiness. The music, lights and lets be honest everyone loves gifts even if they say they don't. Christmas sweaters and holiday flavored drinks are also pretty great. Basically, just let me drown in the Christmas season without judgement.

what's your favorite thing about hyperion heights?
I don't know if I have a favorite thing about the area. I mean, Hyperion Heights has treated me well but it's filled with missing and negative memories. It’s hard to explain because some of my best memories are here as well. If I have to pick something, I would go with how beautiful some of the parks are.

do you consider your aunt as your mother?
In a way, yes. My aunt stepped up to take care of me when my mom didn't want to - when birth mother didn't want me. I don't call aunt Cassie mom, but she's been in the role for a very long time.

* HYPERION HEIGHTS AU ;
alternate universe from December 7th to January 7th. tagged as [ hh au * ]
Wren Isabella ‘Izzie’ Ortiz sofia carson
she is twenty one years old
a photography major at Seattle who works part time at Apples, Arrows and Archery
single
important connections; daughter to to Roni Ortiz Regina Mills and Robin Locksley.  raised by/niece of Cassie Nighingale.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Isabella is the biological daughter of Regina and Robin Locksley and the sister to Henry Mills. They all traveled to the New Enchanted Forest for an adventure only to stumble into a dangerous situation. Isabella knew her mother was training Drizella in magic, but didn’t understand how that led to standing in the middle of the courtyard without a heart. The only way to stop Drizella from crushing Isabella heart was for Regina to cast a dark curse, which she adamantly screamed at her mother not to do before the smoke rolled in. Now cursed, Isabella Locksley is Wren Ortiz the daughter of Roni Ortiz. A daughter who was removed by child protective services due to Roni’s unsafe behaviors and lack of responsibility, and placed with her aunt.  Wren is young woman with a bit of a wild streak, a love for photography and music, now consumed by an emptiness inside she tries to fill with company she shouldn’t.
CURSED BIOGRAPHY
Wren Isabella Ortiz was born to Roni Ortiz in Seattle, Washington. Growing up, Wren never gave much thought to the absence of her father. In fact, most of her child years were spent trying to understand why she lived with her aunt Cassie and rarely saw her mother. It wasn’t until the teen years Wren discovered her mother, Roni, would have rather lived an unsafe lifestyle instead of trying to clean up to keep her child. After she graduated high school that she began to wonder where her father went and why neither parent cared enough to stick around. Aunt Cassies constant persistence for Wren to give Roni a chance only furthered the girls insecurities. She currently attends SeattleU for photography, works for Rowan Oxley’s archery business Apple’s Arrows as a fletcher and private instructor, and spends her free time with friends. A little over a year ago, Wren fell into the wrong kind of older guy. He gave her attention, compliments and treated her unlike anyone had before. He seemed the perfect gentlemen, at first. It wasn’t until she began frequent a local pub far away from her mothers bar, underage but she never drank, with Colt and his friends red flags began to show. Desperately to feel wanted, needed and desired, they were ignored until someone stepped in. Rowan pulled Wren aside to warn her of the type man Colt was rumored to be. Desperate not to lose someone else, Wren adamantly told the man he was wrong. She didn’t mind that Colt needed to know where she was at all time, or if she had to ask to spend time with others, or how possessive he was when they were out – it was all because he loved her! It wasn’t until a few weeks later when friends were sitting around a table that Colt noticed Wren’s soured mood when they are here and asked why. The truth was revealed and a side of Colt revealed never seen before. Fear flashed in brown eyes quickly dismissed as she was manhandled in the alley behind. The need for comfort led her straight to Roni’s, but anger and fear kept her from going inside. Why couldn’t her mother just care?! Today, Wren or Izzie (depending on who you’re talking to) is still trying to discover who she is meant to be. Roni began dating Rowan meaning her mom was suddenly showing up at her work and seemed to be mellowing out. It was hard seeing her mother fall in love with a man, change herself for him, when she tossed her own daughter aside so easily. However, Wren isn’t a child anymore and has decided to actually give Roni a chance - if she decides to care.
She has a love for binge watching television shows, axe throwing, wandering the various parts of Seattle with a camera in hand, trying new places and a love for being inked. She’s still the same sassy, bubbly, brunette trying to find that missing piece of herself but in much healthier ways.

Do you believe that all villain's deserve a second chance?
A second chance to what? Because chances are most would use the second opportunity to change what they did the first time around to make it worse. Of course, I do believe some would use the second chance for good, but this is a very slim chance. Long story short - no.

If mom or aunt Cassie knew what Izzie and Thea were up to they would be locked up for life. Of course, chances were, they both had a feeling the girls were up to something but neither seemed to be concerned much or they wouldn’t be here - in the woods - walking around like some kind of detectives. Lips pursed as she huffed. They had just begun the search but so far everything seemed ordinary. “I have no idea, honestly.” The answer actually caused a shiver. They needed to find out what was going on to help stop it all! “This is going to sound weird but… have you ever thought about our grandparents.” Their mothers parents had been absent from their lives since as far as Izzie could remember. Not to mention, their moms had to get their abilities from somewhere! What Izzie really wanted to ask was ‘Do you think our grandparents could be a part of this?’ but that question remained unsaid.
For the record, no one had said that Thea was the brightest in the town. But right now, she knew she was in the running for most idiotic. Maybe reckless was better. Whatever the title, her and Izzie were definitely vying for the top two. Wandering the woods around town wasn’t a stellar idea at the best of times, but when people kept disappearing? It was probably worse. Still, Thea was convinced they would be okay. They had charms, they had potions, they had their cell phones charged at 100%. Besides, what sort of people would they be if they didn’t take risks for their family? Huffing out a breath, Thea decided to ask her cousin the question that had been on her mind since they first entered the woods. “Do you think we’ll find anything?”

I don’t think I can have enough locks right now. I’ve never been more thankful for my overprotective parents forcing me to get a security system that beeps anytime someone even tries to open a door or window. Thank you for the offer! It’s late tonight so I don’t think I will be opening my door for anyone, just in case. Maybe we can get together tomorrow over tea to at least try to calm each others nerves.

Do you think the people in the ritual videos could be residents of Manitou Springs? Someone you see around town?
God, I hope not but chances are they have ties to the town. They seem to know exactly where someone is going to be and just the right time to take them. It's unnerving! Especially for those of us who live alone.

I'm checking up on everyone and I just found out about strange sightings outside your place. Are you okay? Do you need anything? (November 13th)
Physically, I'm fine. Emotionally and mental, not so okay. For the first time in... well... forever I think I would actually move to New York if mom asked. Are you okay? Do you need anything?

How are you bearing up? I've just learned I'm not the only one to have an unwanted visitor outside my window today, so I thought I'd reach out.
What even was that? It seemed like there could have been more than one person but they didn't do anything. I mean, not really anyway. They just kind of stood there and then circled really fast. Did they do anything at your place? I’m a little paranoid but holding up alright. Are you okay?

did you ever have second thoughts about leaving new york and your mom?
I never really left New York or my mom. I still visit when I have time and, apparently, she visits Manitou Springs now too. City life has never really been for me. Too much concrete and too little freedom.

Isabella heard Regina before she saw her but that didn’t stop the slight jump with physical contact. It was weird to have her mom wandering around Manitou Springs. Really weird! However, she was also incredibly thankful to have time with her mom. Well, some time with her mom because where was she most evenings? Izzie stopped by Aunt Cassie’s after work to spend time as a family but she was no where to be found. Okay, not no where to be found because they all knew where to find her… which was a whole different level of weird! Over twenty years Isabella spent traveling back and forth through family and friends so mom and dad could avoid seeing each other -- and now they can’t stay off each other? Gross! This was not the time or the place to question the relationship between her parents. Not right off anyway. Definitely not without an spiked apple cider in hand. “Ohh, I’m not too cool. Are you sure you’re not? This is a Manitou Springs festival, you know.?” She nudged her moms side whilst laughing. If anyone knew her mothers dislike for the small town it was Izzie. A brow arched as realization hit her. “Have you ever been to a festival?” A few seconds were taken to wade through past memories with mom but not a single one involved a festival of sort. Not one to the Manitou Springs magnitude anyway.
@askisabella
Regina was a very different person than her daughter, there were no arguments there. The fancy, big city life never appealed to Isabella as much as it appealed to her, unfortunately. Izzie’s passion for the mountains and the small town life were certainly all her father’s traits, and while Regina always knew that, nothing prepared her for the possibility that one day her daughter would grow up and choose Manitou Springs over New York. The one constant in her life was away from a home that never truly felt like home, but was only tolerable to be considered a home because she had her daughter with her. Now that Isabella was in Manitou Springs it was clear to her as ever - New York was a very lonely place for Regina… lonely enough that she didn’t even have to think twice before she made the decision to visit the place she sworn was well in her past, all so she could spend some quality time with her daughter that she missed a little too much. Thankfully, the traditional Fall Festival was there to give Regina exactly that. She might have been there to spend time with Isabella, but an unexpected turn of events also brought her right back into Robin’s arms and bed, so while Isabella was out there with some friends, Regina’s first hours at the festival were spent with Robin. They were laughing, joking, bringing up memories and mostly feeling like giddy teenagers again, and it was the best time Regina had in years. When an opportunity presents itself and Regina spotted Isabella wandering between the stands on her own, she left Robin’s side so he could go greet some other familiar faces while she went to see their daughter. “I hope you’re not too old and too cool to hang out with your mom at the festival,” Regina laughed as she greeted Isabella from behind, placing a hand over her back.
