We are offering a handful of artists the opportunity to be part of our artist residency programme at Print Club London this summer! The culmination of the residency will be the launch of a new collection of your work in our online gallery. As well as representation, you will receive dedicated promotion both online and across our social channels, to our engaged audience of buyers.⁠

⁠

The residency will be one month long, and offer you free use of our screenprinting studios and facilities. Alongside this we will provide support from our technicians and curatorial team.⁠

⁠

This programme is available for 1 artist per month, running throughout the year between March - September.⁠

⁠

Submissions close on Wednesday 31st January 2024.⁠

⁠

Please send your CV and a small pdf of your works to [email protected] with a covering letter. No screenprinting experience is required!

As part of the residency, you will take part in a beginner’s screenprinting workshop and studio induction before starting your residency, free of charge.⁠

#Studios available at @pinkmcr_ 💕 Sneak peaks of our new home ✨ There's a lot of work to be done to turn this huge space into a gallery, but the studios are very much ready to be filled with artists. We currently have 4 individual/private studios available from the 1st June 2023 offered on a first come basis. The studios will support PINK’s ambition of creating a dedicated gallery and residency space, with renovations of this space beginning from June onwards. Once complete, studio tenants will have full access and use of the gallery space in between scheduled activities, as we acknowledge not only the significant lack of workspace for artists, but also the current lack of exhibiting space in the city. This is just the beginning of what we hope will be a big project for us. We have already cultivated a strong relationship with the landlord of the building who is keen for us to expand the space we currently have. We will be conducting tours of the individual/private studios from 8th May onwards. We loved looking through your submissions for Issue 22’s Blue & Yellow print challenge - so many great ideas and prints for us to check out and choose from. This time around we’re asking for handmade prints using Black and Orange inks. We’re excited to see what you come up with using the two colours together - it should make for a fantastic showcase...! This is an open call to any printmakers who’d like to get involved – a chance to have your print featured as our winning artwork or as part of a showcase of brilliantly creative submissions in the July 2023 edition of Pressing Matters magazine. ––––––– So, what are the rules? - Create a handmade print using Black and Orange inks in a printmaking technique of your choice, printed on white paper. - Your overall print (paper size) must be at least A4 ––––––– How do you share your submission? - Post a clear image of your submission to your Instagram account, including the hashtag  #pressingmattersinsert23 in the text of your post - PLUS also make sure you TAG THE IMAGE IN YOUR POST with @pressingmattersmag in your submission too (hashtags are increasingly unreliable - we’ll check both the hashtag and our tagged posts when judging) ––––––– The challenge will be live from today and throughout May and will end on the 31st May.
