Comunicación No Verbal - Ballet, Teresa Munoz

Cuando trabajo con la figura de la mujer, la postura unida al color son elementos y conceptos fundamentales para el desarrollo de mi propuesta. Me interesa la exploración del retrato donde el espectador es constructor activo de la obra, es quien recibe la comunicación y la traslada a su interior y es allí donde se convierte en una narrativa, desde lo íntimo. Me interesa la creación de imágenes visualmente poéticas con las que realizo una reflexión en torno al papel de la mujer, convirtiéndose en objeto temático, en la protagonista de mi propio universo pictórico, que me permite expresar la condición de la mujer y su realidad. Se trata de trabajos que oscilan entre la abstracción y la figuración y en los que vuelco mis sentimientos, emociones y experiencias vitales, confiriéndoles gran expresividad . Prácticamente casi todas mis obras muestran hasta este momento una sola figura, y las presento como seres arquetípicos y libres, a veces curiosas, a veces afectadas, a veces lastimadas, pero siempre poderosas y observadoras de lo que ocurre alrededor. Me adentro en el mundo de la mujer, en su interior, absorbiendo todo lo que me atrae y devolviéndolo modificado, releído, meditado y muy cambiado. Las figuras nos trasladan a una atmósfera irreal, no hay elementos disuasorios, solo la figura y su fondo, la pintura por la pintura, luchando porque las manchas, que son el centro de mi pintura suenen como una composición musical, donde los colores, que son las notas musicales de mis composiciones, digan cosas, comuniquen sin hablar. El título que da nombre a la serie “COMUNICACIÓN NO VERBAL” es por su conexión con las investigaciones de Mark L. Knapp, David Le Breton, Paul Ekman entre otros, sobre este tema, que lo podemos definir como “el proceso de comunicación mediante el envío y recepción de mensajes sin palabras”
