I wanted to communicate the subjective inner consciousness, not an exact reproduction of the city. A subjective modification of the object could produce more meaning than that which it truly has. The aim of this work is to understand the implicit meaning of the townscape, in the knowledge that it is a creature of the times, and to be aware of the efforts to establish a new order that is based on the meaning and development of landscape. The image of the expressionistic city, that I illustrated, is based upon the interaction within my mind, to allow me to take a subjective view of an objective landscape. Moreover, it has touched upon some diverse aspects of the townscape, that were elicited from an attempted subjective interpretation, on an altered image of an objective townscape.
