if brawl team ever explicitly confirms an existing character as trans who do you all think it would be. not to be confused with who do you WANT it to be.

im talking like if you were a fly on the wall in mid-late 2024 when brawl revenue is at an all-time low and they decide to make a risky play that, if failed, will at least get them outrage interactions. the play being "guys... what if we confirm a brawler as transgender?" who would they decide upon.

i think they would do someone safe. someone that not a lot of people particularly enjoy but not one a lot of people particularly DONT enjoy either. obviously not a woman because theyre still a bit transmisogynistic but yknow, maybe in 2028 or so they'll consider it. I think they would confirm Barley as a trans man.

I’m getting a bit conflicted about Brawl Stars showcasing Maisie with the “strong black woman” trope more than once. 

Don’t get me wrong. I like strong women. But when most of their outwardly “tough” female characters are dark-skinned, and Maisie is being strong to protect two fair-skinned guys who became hapless the moment she was introduced and her being their “mom friend” which is also another negative “mammy” stereotype for dark-skinned women, I think there’s a racial bias in the content creators behind Brawl Stars that they couldn’t see.
