I can’t believe this has to be said, but please make sure your image/video descriptions are accessible. Don’t hide them under readmores, don’t put them all at the end of a post rather than after each individual image, and do not put them in tiny text / italicized font as those can cause eyestrain / headaches. Not only does that make it hard for some screenreaders, but sighted people may need IDs as well for a variety of reasons.

I was reading your "How to Create Image Descriptions" and was wondering how you would do image descriptions for posts with multiple images

It's wayyy easier now that there's an alt text function, but IDs are more generally accessible to everyone who needs descriptions (people with bad internet, people with varied vision conditions, DeafBlind people). If you choose to write an ID (which I tend to do) I would keep it above a read more, since if someone deletes a blog, the content below a read more isn't visible.

I usually structure it like this:

(ID:

Image 1:

Image 2:

End ID)

So that a person using an ID can tell the order of images. It can get long if there are multiple images - but I feel like an accessible post is worth a few more seconds of scrolling.

A while ago I was invited to contribute to the Form the Ashes ATLA fan Zine for @recovery-zine!

I got to illustrate this double spread! (which was terrifying, thank you) Pretty sure this is where the thought "Jee survived the north" began to form for me! The theme was about the war ending, peace settling and people getting to come home and reunite with loved ones.

I would have preferred the original kyoshi island fight but...tbh kyoshi possessing aang was pretty cool, makes me really want a kyoshi animated movie. but where's the unagi! where are the elephant koi!

#love suki's actor <3 she's so cute #Zhou's actor is sooo tepid. Jason Isaacs was so perfectly ominous in the animated show that it's hard to listen to anyone else :(
