Seeing Ethan's face change as he realised what had just transpired had been entertaining enough to have the assassin snigger. Hitachi had not been contacted by the organisation in a while, part of him wondered if they thought he was dead or forgot him. After all most regular affiliates didn't know that Hitachi was a fatuus, having too many people know the identity of a secret agent defeated the purpose of being a spy.

Dire situation

Elyon looked at the increased number of hilichurls and then back at Garth as he ordered her to run. It was 7 against 2 not a situation Elyon enjoyed, the odds were frightening and while she would rather run, she refused to leave Garth to a certain gruesome death.

" no." Elyon refused her tone was calm but she did feel nervious, her power and abilities may not be mean for fighting but they existed for support. Beside she still had the strongest skill she knew up her sleeve if things got too dangerous.

" i will back_ you up." Elyon corrected firmly, if her guess was right sticking together was still their best shot at survival. Knowing her terrible stamina she wouldn't have run far. Supporting Garth in the fight was likely the safest option on the long run. Be it casting a shield or freezing incoming enemies, she could do both and hopefully it would be enough to save them.

It wasn't some dellusionned sense of heroism, or blind faith in one's abilities, her decision was based of her logic over her sense of dread as the enemies got closer.

Orobashi descendant au : if i think about it, in the timeline where it's Yae who finds out what's going on with Elyon and then Ely trains under Yae and Ei, there's a solid possiblity Elyon would turn out to become a frigging powerhouse ( if the training doesn't straight up ends her)
