After a while here’s the next one in my DormSwap! Series. Funny enough, I ended up with Vil after drawing him last time so he’s back and transfered to SavanaClaw.

With Ruggie out of the picture, he takes place as vice dorm leader and doesn’t put up with Leona’s behavior. I added SavanaClaw Rook as he never transfers dorms to remain with Vil though it was mostly because I wanted to draw him lol

In 2019, I picked up the iPad Air and Procreate for the first time. On my recent Birthday, I upgraded to the Ipad Pro! To celebrate and also test my new iPad Pro (plus Gen 2 Apple Pencil) I redrew my original iPad Air art ft. Neku in his older NEO design.

My Halloween Secret Santa gift for @anixdraws!

I combined the concepts of fashion with Susukichi being a cool uncle for Tsugumi and Shoka (which is so precious, lemme tell ya). I thought, "Dude's obsessed with reversi and the girls already have black and somewhat white themes going on. Let them model reversi-inspired dresses," and this was the result! Thank @twewyss for hosting!

Since I forgot to share this like a moron, I’ll recap my contributions. I worked on the Rowdy Runway: A TWEWY Fashion Zine as the artist who not only did the cover art (seen above) but also I did three different artworks.

The first artwork I did was for my hubby Higashizawa, repping the now defunct Sheep Heavenly (replaced with Top’ o Topo in NEO for garishly cute and saturated clothing). Each item worn by Higgy here is a piece of Sheep Heavenly clothing interpreted by me staring way too hard at the pixel clothing sprites. This one was so fun to color and I get to draw muscular men in bright cute colors??? Like hell yes!

(Also yes I had to make that Sheep Heavenly logo myself)

The second artwork I made for the zine is one of Susukichi rocking the monocrow drip! This piece was a traditional art piece I colored digitally to fit the zine. I’ve included the lineart version so you can see how much pain and suffering I mean detail I put into this one. I went with MonoCrow as a way to push myself out of my comfort zone and focus less on rendering and shading, using simple cel shading and heavy shadows to make Susy K look cool~! In the end this one turned out to be my favorite traditional art pieces.

This last one was a collab between me and a writer friend who goes by Stinkfly03 on twitter/X. They made a fic about Beat truely seeing himself as more then a Neku copycat and he cuts his hair to match his younger self. I went fully into my comfort zone with this one by relying on rendering and lighting. In this story, Beat’s physical appearance is thinner and a lot more Neku like which (I hope) I conveyed well. The fic is called “Reflecting Neku” by PetildaFan on A03 (Archive of Our Own)! Pls go check it out. It’s a super interesting character introspection on Beat that is worth the read!

Thank you for playing these games

Rather then just celebrating these games, I’m also celebrating the fans who played these games. As small of a fan base the twewy fandom is, I adored the creative people in them and in my mind it’s ya’ll who keep this fandom alive.

The first pic is a remake of my first anniversary art (seen above) in the fandom, drawn 5 years later. I’ve gotten better at art since then, and I’m so much more confident in my abilities. While the NEO one is a take on the classic curtain call. The show is over and we all had fun, but now it’s time we take a bow and say goodbye.

I love both these games in more words then I can muster and I hope my love is conveyed through my art of these characters.

I’d been seeing ads for Temu and I caved and picked up this watercolor set. I drew Leona as my test and it turned out surprisingly good?

This particular set was 16usd and for its price, I got better quality than I expected.

I drew Leona because I recently picked up this lil guy and felt compelled. (I’m so happy this plushie is frowning like he should. I love my grumpy lil lion)

I took a break from my commissions to make something for myself, specifically to make my own original characters rather then fanart like I always resort to drawing

I found an old sketch of a Frog Witch and decided to use her as my inspiration. I also recently picked up clip studio paint v2 and it had a unique new feature called Shading Assist. It genuinely saved me so much time and I got so confident with this drawing cause of it.
