Зачастую новички делают экономически невыгодную кастомизацию, которая только удорожает продукт - снижает конверсию листинга - увеличивает затраты на рекламу!
1) Если вашу кастомизацию не видно на первом фото - клиент вероятнее выберет аналогичный товар с меньшей ценой и большим количеством отзывов.
2) Сложная кастомизация требует большого MOQ, денег, времени на создание пресс-форм и тестирование образцов. Много случаев когда после кастомизации стало только хуже.
3) Упаковка. Создавайте упаковку с учётом расходов на будущую доставку и оплату FBA fee, то есть максимально компактной и лёгкой, но в то же время способной защитить продукт при транспортировке.
4) Вложения и инструкции должны быть умеренными. Инструкции, по возможности, надо печатать на упаковке, что снижает себестоимость и уменьшает вес.
5) Обогнать листинг поставщика можно с помощью: -уникального торгового предложения, -продуманного маркетинга, -правильной ppc стратегии, -внешнего трафика.
Ваш товар должен приносить больше денег Амазону, чем листинг поставщика. Будут учитываться все fee, реклама, здоровье листинга.
Вы должны помнить, что у поставщика экономическое преимущество за счёт низкой себестоимости, возможно, более дешёвой доставки и др.

Important announcement for anyone who uses software to create FBA shipments.
Amazon announced a new FBA Inbound Placement service in December [2023] to provide inbound options to split or consolidate your shipments.
Starting yesterday, any sellers who use a software to create FBA shipments will be able to select a preferred inbound option through a setting in Seller Central.
This means that what you choose here will reflect in how your software splits your shipments, and in how much you pay in the new Inbound Placement fees.
There are 3 options to choose from... expensive, very expensive, and free. Let's review them.
Minimal Shipment Splits: This is the premier, most expensive option. It will let you ship everything to one location in the region of your choice (east, west, central), and standard items cost roughly $0.25-$0.50 per unit.
Partial Shipment Splits: This is the mid-tier option. Cheaper, but still expensive. Lets you ship to 2 or 3 different fulfillment centers in the region of your choice for about $0.15-$0.30 per unit.
Amazon Optimized Shipment Splits: This is the free option. Optimized for Amazon, not you. No inbound fees, but you'll have to ship to 4+ different locations, and there's no regional choice. Your shipments will probably be spread across the country.
If you don't go in here make a choice, it will default to the Partial Shipment Splits option resulting in multiple destination shipments and inbound placement fees. In typical Amazon fashion, they're gonna default everyone to a paid option and charge you an extra $0.15-$0.30 per unit, per shipment.
To set your preferences go to Seller Central > Click the Settings gear wheel icon > Fulfillment By Amazon > Inbound Settings > Edit.
If you're a 2D Workflow user, you want to select the free Amazon Optimized Splits option in the Seller Central settings mentioned above, to continue using the shipment optimizer the same way you normally would.
If you use another software, this is a reminder to go in there a pick the options that work best for you.

> 2021 UK VAT on e-Commerce Legislation
Hello, Your disbursements have been deactivated in all stores you operate worldwide (excluding Amazon.in) from ... as we have indicators that you might not be UK established for VAT purposes. As a result, we need you to provide additional documentary evidence proving that your company is established in the UK in accordance with this legislation, within 60 days of this notification.
UK VAT on eCommerce legislation (live since 1 Jan 2021) requires Amazon to collect and remit VAT on all B2C sales performed by non-established selling partners to customer in the UK. As a result, we have to ask you to provide additional documentary evidence (listed here: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gc/vat-education/voec-uk-establishment) proving that your company is established in the UK in accordance with this legislation, within 60 days after receiving this notification.
If you fail to provide the documentary evidence within 60 days of this notification, Amazon will conclude that you are not established in UK and will start collecting and remitting VAT on your B2C sales. In such a case, additionally, you will be required to pay the VAT amount to Amazon to account for the historical un-paid VAT on all B2C sales that fall under UK VAT on eCommerce legislation since 1 Jan 2021. Further to this, you can continue selling on Amazon, but you will not be able to disburse any funds from your accounts, until any UK VAT owed is paid to Amazon.
Why did this happen? From 1 January 2021, Amazon is liable to collect and remit VAT on B2C sales from non-UK established Selling Partners to B2C customers in UK under the UK VAT on e-Commerce legislation. We have taken this measure because as per investigation taken on your account, we found indicators that that your business is established outside the UK for VAT purposes. Hence, we need to get the documentary evidence to ensure we apply the correct treatment to your B2C sales.
I am established in the UK. How do I get my disbursements released? If you believe you meet UK business establishment requirements, submit the required documents to [email protected] provided in “Determination of Establishment for UK VAT” page: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gc/vat-education/voec-uk-establishment. Note that you have to send the documents required using your Amazon seller central Registered email id. It will take us up to 3 days to review the documents provided by you. At any point, if we conclude based on the provided documentary evidence that your company is established in the UK, we will release your disbursements within 24 hours of completing the verification. This will become available to you as per your normal payment cycle.
What happens if I don’t take the required actions? If you fail to provide the documentary evidence within 60 days of this notification, we will conclude that you are not established in UK and will start collecting and remitting VAT on your B2C sales. In such a case, additionally, you will be required to pay the VAT amount to Amazon to account for the historical un-paid VAT on all B2C sales that fall under UK VAT on eCommerce legislation since 1 January 2021. You may continue selling on Amazon, but you will not be able to disburse any funds from your accounts, until any UK VAT owed is paid to Amazon.
