Ok I'm not sure what to think about devilman crybaby (spoilers)

Like-

I don't know Ryo what fuck? What did he want? World domination or Akira? I mean he made him a devilman just so he could exterminate humanity but it kinda didn't work like

He was smart he could have predict that it will end like this. Akira's main personality trait was to save others and Ryo was his BEST FRIEND. Guy was smart enough to understand entire humanity but not Akira. Naivety of basicly every other character is a topic for another talk

Another thing how did Ryo not predict that God is going to destroy them again? He wanted to get rid of people and make Earth demon again BUT it was obvious that he'll fail. He destryed people destroyed Akira whom I gather he loved, right? Had he any other motives? At the end the only thing he had achived was to FEEL sorrow and wonder wow what the fuck I'm sad? Akira why ur dead?

On the other hand capturing human nature very brutal very accurate, Akira's character is very well written, Ryo made me wander several times what the fuck is wrong with him but as an intj I feel well represented finally(yeah sometimes he gave off entj vibes but I wan't argue), god complex here made sense however this trope of sophisticated, intelligent, cultured intj villan WITH GOD COMPLEX is a bit tiering but here as I said it makes sense cuz guy is a satan, stunning art style, basicly everyone dies I appreciate that, leaves a lot of place for wondering what author meant, worth watching I recommend

I found that word I was looking for in a while

most of bsd characters are pretty egoistic.

Like they usually assume that if their opponent have something they are currently missing they won a life on lottery and don't have any other problems (plus they obviously despise them and want to kill them) Akutagawa towards Atsushi the most visible example

Or they think that only their incentives are valid or more valid then their opponent's Steinbeck or Tanizaki would also fit here (btw why is that the family thing?)

Other one - they think they had it worst and they assume that their opponent obviously won't understand not knowing a single thing about them

And damn it-

They all are so traumatized

Hi everyone!! I'm sorry to ruin your day/evening but this is kinda an important matter to me and I hope you can take the time to read this 🙏🏼

You guys might know I write BSD analyses and theories sometimes for not that long now. I put a lot of effort, time and dedication in them, especially when it comes to drawing parallels between IRL author's works and BSD characters.

Now, the thing is, parts of my first self written theory (the Higuchi ability theory) has been kinda plagiarized. Now, don't get me wrong. I do know that people come up with the same or similar theories and such. I mean it's also okay if you're inspired by a theory and make your own out of it. You can ofc write about the same ideas and things!! The beauty is that everyone has a slightly different take on it and unique thinking so that you can have two similar theories but also very different ones. You can also just take my post, state that it is mine and then add your thoughts to it, telling your audience which points you agree with and which not etc. There are so many ways to do this.

But this person on Instagram took parts of my work without even changing the phrasing sometimes. They neither asked me for permission first nor did they give me any credits. Last Friday, July the 30th, I DMed them first ofc, asking them to either repost it with the proper credits or putting the credits in the caption but stating the credits again in their story.

The person replied that they did not steal the theory itself but they admit to have seen my tumblr post. They said that they only took my summaries of the three short stories (which I used in my post to underline my ideas).

I wanna be transparent with you guys, so I'm just gonna share our convo here.

Well, the way they said that only the last 3 slides were similar to my work pissed me a bit off. Because 1) it wasn't only the last 3 slides and 2) it wasn't just the summaries they took from me. Embedded in my summaries are also my ideas and theories. So I was not okay to be simply credited in the caption of a post that has already been 4-5 days old. So we agreed that they would delete the post.

(this is btw how they credited me later which I would have been fine with when they did it from the beginning or reposted with this credit)

Well, the post was gone and I was happy. They blocked me afterwards which was fine by me 🤷🏻‍♀️ Today, August the 3rd, I saw on my private account (thanks to the fyp 🙏🏼) that THE POST WAS STILL THERE. THEY ONLY MADE THE POST PRIVATE, LIED TO ME ABOUT DELETING IT, BLOCKED ME AND HOPED THAT I WOULDN'T REALIZE? You guys don't know how utterly disappointed and upset I feel. It's just such a disrespectful thing to do. I'm a person that highly values honesty and kindness. I can't really put into words how shocked I feel rn.

I saw that they unblocked me again but in view of how our conversation went before, I feel like there is no use to try to DM them again. That's why I'm reaching out to you guys. I don't know how effective reporting is on instagram, but it's worth a try. I would appreciate it a lot if you could help me out and report their post in order that it will be taken down. Thank you for everyone who has read until so far, you are so precious!! If you don't feel comfortable reporting, you don't have to!! I want to live by myself when I move out of my parent's place but I'm really afraid of money problems? Once you’ve looked over all those cool links, I have some general advice for you on how you can have some sort of support system going for you:

Reasons to move out of home

You may decide to leave home for many different reasons, including:

wishing to live independently

location difficulties – for example, the need to move closer to university

conflict with your parents

being asked to leave by your parents.

Issues to consider when moving out of home

It’s common to be a little unsure when you make a decision like leaving home. You may choose to move, but find that you face problems you didn’t anticipate, such as:

Unreadiness – you may find you are not quite ready to handle all the responsibilities.

Money worries – bills including rent, utilities like gas and electricity and the cost of groceries may catch you by surprise, especially if you are used to your parents providing for everything. Debt may become an issue.

Flatmate problems – issues such as paying bills on time, sharing housework equally, friends who never pay board, but stay anyway, and lifestyle incompatibilities (such as a non-drug-user flatting with a drug user) may result in hostilities and arguments.

Your parents may be worried

Think about how your parents may be feeling and talk with them if they are worried about you. Most parents want their children to be happy and independent, but they might be concerned about a lot of different things. For example:

They may worry that you are not ready.

They may be sad because they will miss you.

They may think you shouldn’t leave home until you are married or have bought a house.

They may be concerned about the people you have chosen to live with.

Reassure your parents that you will keep in touch and visit regularly. Try to leave on a positive note. Hopefully, they are happy about your plans and support your decision.

Tips for a successful move

Tips include:

Don’t make a rash decision – consider the situation carefully. Are you ready to live independently? Do you make enough money to support yourself? Are you moving out for the right reasons?

Draw up a realistic budget – don’t forget to include ‘hidden’ expenses such as the property’s security deposit or bond (usually four weeks’ rent), connection fees for utilities, and home and contents insurance.

Communicate – avoid misunderstandings, hostilities and arguments by talking openly and respectfully about your concerns with flatmates and parents. Make sure you’re open to their point of view too – getting along is a two-way street.

Keep in touch – talk to your parents about regular home visits: for example, having Sunday night dinner together every week.

Work out acceptable behaviour – if your parents don’t like your flatmate(s), find out why. It is usually the behaviour rather than the person that causes offence (for example, swearing or smoking). Out of respect for your parents, ask your flatmate(s) to be on their best behaviour when your parents visit and do the same for them.

Ask for help – if things are becoming difficult, don’t be too proud to ask your parents for help. They have a lot of life experience.

If your family home does not provide support

Not everyone who leaves home can return home or ask their parents for help in times of trouble. If you have been thrown out of home or left home to escape abuse or conflict, you may be too young or unprepared to cope.

If you are a fostered child, you will have to leave the state-care system when you turn 18, but you may not be ready to make the sudden transition to independence.

If you need support, help is available from a range of community and government organisations. Assistance includes emergency accommodation and food vouchers. If you can’t call your parents or foster parents, call one of the associations below for information, advice and assistance.

About Akaashi

Since I've seen some variances in fandom I wanted to add mine two cents worth because why not

So far I've noticed that most visible are two options where his personality is completely watered down and limited to being pretty or on the opposite people make him crazy and chaotic at a push. And yes, his personality is really hard to interpret, and I'm not saying that I'm not wrong, I just think that both of this schemes are not fully right. But if it's your comfort character and you like to interpret him on your own way or you have any other reasons then that's none of my business do whatever you want as long as it's not toxic and/or harmful to other people. What I am trying to do is just point some observations I made while I was reading manga. Hope it'll help <3

introversion - I think it's obvious because he is not as loud as Bokuto or as friendly as Hinata and seem not to like being too loud but I noticed something else - the way Akaashi treats other players. He is reserved and shows them respect. He is not making fun of them, doesn't open up to them I'm not even sure if he does to Bokuto or his team more it looks like they are reading him like an open book AND most importantly he is not shy. He is not scared of people and don't give a shit about their opinion I would even say that he is kinda out going - I mean he would make a first step if he had a reason to

I think this panel explains a bit what I am talking about (the first part tho)

logic - you know, the overthinking thing not the biggest reason why I kin him not at all he is analyzing everything and treats things very serious maybe that's why he is not funny and, like Bokuto called him - he is a buzzkill. After that really long thread while he had a mental break down during the match I think he is scared of losing control. It's like a spiral - the more you think the more you are getting scared BUT I'M NOT SURE HERE - this story was really fucking hard to understand

nitpicking - this is the main pillar of this charter - you won't convince me otherwise. He is doing that but in a different way than Tsukishima. First of all it's the logic thing, especially seen during training camp and, the other one - pointing every single mistake in his behavior and the others too. I don't know maybe it's willing to be perfect, to work on weaknesses till they disappear. Well for some reason he was a vice captain in his second years and that's not a common thing. Also I think he is the type of a guy who would fire you without hesitating if you kept failing him

regular human reactions - he is not a robot, he is not callous - he get's mad when Bokuto does something stupid, he feels fear and happiness. I saw some fanfics where he is just an oasis of calm and THAT'S NOT TRUE. He has his limits he won't agree for everything and keep patient no matter what. Yes, these feelings will be bottle up but they still exist and they sometimes show up

sharp practice - he totally is a smarty just look at that smirk. He is better then you and he is not afraid to show it. I think he would be a perfect villain. He would play with his enemies with a big smile on his face. No, but seriously, this guy knows how to green his opponents and play on their nerves

Welcome to short review of Dead Apple or maybe more like screaming in feels because I’ve just finished it. 

The amount of shit that happened here is unbelievable. To fully understand that crazy plot I’ll have to watch that again like 10 times. And how the fuck that town is still existing? That dragon was pretty big so how big this town is...?  But, most importantly, vibe has been delivered. 

Do I have to say that I love Fyodor- Like they’ve already caught me with those references and his way of talking, acting and being in general isn’t helping in my increasing crush

I’m also falling in love with Akutagawa... In those small things like his coughing, hands in the pockets and the fact that he literally shows up out of nowhere right when Atsuhi is having a mental breakdown. But lets appreciate his effort, he is doing his best

Ouran high school host club is like the saddest comedy I’ve ever seen.

Aside from this dumb episodes especially at the beginning It’s getting more serious and disturbing over the time. Well even those episodes that seems seriously weird and idk goofy(?) are touching more or less important problems. Yeah they are usually very selfish but it doesn’t surprise me because in this anime you are mostly focusing on individuals, their stories and their problems. If I’m not wrong they are mostly caused by wealth and atmosphere in rich community. But I can’t say if that’s actually true because compared with them I'm really poor.

I will fight anyone who says that Tamaki is an egoist. Like this anime is basically about him changing other people lives for the better. He was fucking ready to  marry a girl he didn’t love just because he thought he is a problem for his friends in the club. Yes he is complete idiot, yes I hate the fact that he said that wlw is useless and yes he is like a baby everybody has to take care of, but he is not egoistic. And he is very cute and I love him.

About Haruhi… I think her character potential was a bit unused. If anime says that she is independent and mature than why she sometimes lets all of these guys treat her like a delicate flower that will break down at the slightest gust of wind. Well this anime has really wicked view on women. Like this whole Lobelia thing… I don’t want to talk about it but it was very slippery.

Anyway Haruhi could stay this balanced, chill-headed, a bit blank character. It would be more convincing to me.

Maybe when I’ll be more experienced, more aware of the world I’d understand this anime. Because now I don’t know what to think about it.

There is one more thing I would like to pay attention to. This deep blue sky. That sky is the most disturbing element of this whole show. When I see it I know something unbelievable is going to happen. Something weird, something important, something out of this world.

I think that episode 13th shows the most what I’m talking about - “Haruhi in wonderland”
