- I know I might be jumping on to the bandwagon here, but this just made me cry.

I am experiencing a burnout. I am struggling at work in a job that's not what I really wanted in the first place, but I can't quit because I need to earn for the budget, bills, and etc. (being the breadwinner).

It's not easy. I have plans for myself but I need to set them aside and prioritize what's more important at the moment. It's as if I keep on working, but not towards what I actually want to achieve.

Not to mention the type of job I have is really stressful.

Every day. And then again. Another week. A month. It's all the same. But I'm not moving.

It's just burning me out. And when Rengoku said those words, I just couldn't hold it in.

I know that Bungou Stray Dogs WAN! is a series of shorts that's supposed to be just fun... or nice... or cute (and it is)

Dazai: "If I had to go, I'd like to go out just as beautifully."

But this scene (from episode 10) made me cry.

Dazai might have said that out of his suicidal nature, or as a joke, or to be poetic but with his expression; he seemed happy and sad in that moment. I know he is happy to be with his friends, the Armed Detective Agency...

But maybe there's still a part of him that wished he could be with Oda, to share that summer evening with him, watch the fireworks with everyone.

If Oda was still alive, they'd be partners and be on the good side. Saving lives and helping people. And be happy.

Maybe he remembered how Odasaku had to go... As the sun sets in the last moments of Oda's life, he helped Dazai choose a different path and be on the good side.

Isn't that a beautiful way to go?

[SPOILER ALERT]

I know that the movie was about AkiHaru and Ugetsu, but I just want to point out these character developments on Mafuyu:

- he has achieved "personal closure" after writing and performing their first song

- he is more expressive of how he feels; he even mentioned to Uenoyama that he felt scared before their next performance

- he became more aware of how the people around him feel. he noticed how Haruki felt towards Akihiko

- he actually reached out to listen, because he felt that Ugetsu needed someone whom he can talk to, since Akihiko has been gone

- he's no longer just singing for himself. he is now using his music to help the people around him figure things out

- and I personally think that he is putting in effort to get closer to Uenoyama, but the virgin boi just wants to take it slow 😂

My point is; Mafuyu is more than just his talent, and his character development proves that ❤

Why can't things just be simple like:

Doumeki: I know it's been four years, but I've somehow been keeping tabs on you

Yashiro: No, I haven't done it with anyone else after you, and I still dream of you at random

No, we have to make Doumeki act like a bitter ex boyfriend coz why tf not? (it's actually kinda hot)

It's their first encouter, and first time being alone together after those four years. There was no proper closure after everything that happened. Doumeki has been through a lot, and Yashiro has been secretly suffering too.

Man, I wish they could just be happy, now that they're with each other again.

I have this feeling that Season 4 Episodes 17 and 18 (Nekoma's backstory) are there to remind us that they want to win the Nationals too; they also trained hard, they played with all that they have and they had their struggles, to get to where they are right now.

This is to remind us that it's not only about Karasuno. Other teams had their sacrifices too. They all deserve to win, but in the end, there could only be one victor.
