Owl House and Amphibia Spoilers...

Just finished season two of Amphibia and Owl House and thought of this...

If I had a nickle for everytime the main character in a Gravity Falls/Amphibia/Owl House universe show got sent back to the human realm from the other world with friends from said world through a portal that another friend sacrificed themselves to close and they got stranded there in the season two finale I'd have two nickles, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

In fairness though, we as a fandom need to name this universe.

I love The Owl House so much but can we talk about the way the plot escalated in 3 seasons:

Season 1: yay magic! explore the world, fall in love, make a new found family, oh! and fight a dictator for a door in the last episode

Season 2: unravel a government conspiracy, be gayer and fight against said dictator but now to stop him from committing genocide

Season 3: fight fucking God

I just think it would be very funny if the collector DOES know how to play tag regularly, CAN play tag regularly, and WAS GOING TO play tag regularly with the other kids but chose to completely obliterate Belos first because that’s what you get for breaking a pinkie swear

TOH Season 2 Finale Spoilers...

Cause I have feelings

The palismans cuddling in the beginning was the best part. I wish that was the whole entire episode, it was amazing.

I really do wish we had some sort of confirmation as to how Belos knew their plan. I'm leaning to either the Collector's connection with King or Steve, either being an illusion or the spy cause he was the only CATT missing the episode.

If Raine isn't okay I'm going to sue. They need to be fine and have their reconciliation with Eda, especially after cutting off her arm, cause that's definitely going to have reprocussions and I don't think she can grow it back.

I also need to know how the rest of the Hexside squad is. We know most of them wouldn't be dead since they don't have sigils, but I need to know that Ed, Em, Viney and everyone else are okay.

KING!!! Literally everything with him this episode. The reveal that his father and the Collector had beef, the fact his necklace was to hide him from the Collector, his connection with them, his last conversation with Luz. I really hope he's okay.

On a similar note, HUNTER. That boy is not okay. He spent majority of it in pain, had a reunion with Darius as he was dying, and had to face his uncle who wants to kill him. Also Belos' brother being named Caleb and Flapjack being his palisman, all the theories were correct. That boy needs therapy.

Gus also needs therapy. He looked traumatized at the end and he saw all of Belos' memories. He most likely knows what Hunter is and what Belos was trying to do. He's also literally 12 and had to go through this.

Luz was amazing this ep. I loved her tricking Belos and giving him a sigil. But this is not how she wanted to go back to the human realm and I really want to see Camilla's reaction to her daughter coming back.

I really don't think Belos is dead. It was such an anticlimactic end for the big villain, and the camera lingered too long on that goo dripping on Hunter. I do think goo Belos will come back and it'll be interesting to see him react to the modern human realm.

Now that the gangs in the human realm, I want to see their reactions to it, especially Gus, but this is not the way I wanted it to happen.

Last but not least, the Collector. I love that funky little dude but they scare me. He has the best design in the whole show, but someone who destroyed the big villain with only a tap of their finger and moved the moon like a touch screen is someone to be feared. I think the most terrifying thing about them is that he really does want to play. They're a child with the power of a god, who doesn't realize what they're doing is wrong. I'm excited to see where the show goes with him.

That's all I can think of for now. I may add more to this later.

See the way the prank is explained in canon never made sense at all for all of these reasons, so I've always believed that Snape overheard the Marauders talking about what goes down on the full moon and went there to get some proof to get Remus expelled.

Since we already know that the Marauders didn't get along with Snape and Snape doesn't like Remus in particular, otherwise he wouldn't have threatened him at the Shrieking Shack in PoA.

I also think that the reason Remus doesn't really explain much about the Prank in PoA is he was distracted and was also trying to convince the Trio that Sirius wasn't a murderer and decided to push the actual explanation until they were all safe in the castle, which obviously didn't happen.

Am I the only one who thought the prank never made sense? Like not just in the fanon the fans Made of the Marauders,but the actual canon of J.K Rowling.The way she wrote Remus and Sirius,especially Sirius just doesn’t fit with the way the prank supposedly happened.Sirius’s entire character is based upon the foundation that he’s loyal,his animagus is a a dog of all things,an animal known for its loyalty,the vision Voldemort used to torment Harry and trick him is literally Sirius refusing to give in to Voldemort and Betray the order.His whole backstory was that he was thought to be a traitor for 12 years when he wasn’t,and he felt so bad that he stayed in Azkaban(it’s canon that he could have escaped at any time but he stayed because he believed he deserved it.)and he was the one who turned out to be loyal all along.I honestly believe that J.K Rowling just put the prank there to earn extra sympathy points from the fans for snape,like that’s the only was I can see it.

Adding on to this. I just watched Secrets of Dumbledore and, small spoiler for those who haven't seen it, but McGonagall appears, is a teacher, and looks to be about in her twenties. This bothered me cause I know she's in her sixties in the main books and forties during the Marauders Era and the timelines didn't seem to be adding up, so I did some research.

McGonogall was born in 1935, which adds up to her approximate age during the main series. Secrets of Dumbledore however, takes place in 1927, a full eight years before she was even born. Hence she can not be a teacher or even alive. Dumbledore does in fact call her Minerva McGonagall at one point, so this isn't even a relative.

The math isn't mathing, and JKR apparently doesn't know when her own characters were born.

So you know how everyone says JKR can't do math? Well, she can't figure out simple dates either.

I was doing some research for a fic and I needed to know around what date Pettigrew died. I looked it up and the Skirmsh at Malfoy Manor was late March 1998.

Well we know that it took place over the Easter holidays since that's why Draco is at the manor at all. Hogwarts gives students two weeks off, one on either side of Easter for the holidays.

Easter 1998 was on April 12th, so the earliest Pettigrew could have died was April 6th, and the latest April 18th. Neither of those are late March.
