4. What’s a word that makes you go absolutely feral? i wouldn't say any of them make me go feral, but I do love the opportunity to throw a good "nonchalantly" in there! menagerie is also a particular favorite when used well!

7. What is your deepest joy about writing? ooooo. this is a difficult question. you know that post (i think it's a tweet?) where it's like "i hate every part of the artistic process but the only thing i hate more is not doing it" that's kind of how i feel about writing right now (probably because i'm trying so hard to finish the fic fest fic rather than writing the fic i actually have inspiration for right now). i would say my greatest joy is probably that moment when something falls into place! whether it's figuring out a plot point that was giving trouble, writing a banger of a line, or rereading a section and knowing that it's going to evoke the exact emotions you want it to. it's a fantastic feeling when something clicks.

35. What’s your favorite writing rule to smash into smithereens? okay answered this for bella so copy/paste: "ooooooooooooooooooooo great question. i. have no idea. OH WAIT i just googled a list of writing rules and one of them said never open a book with weather??? while i don’t do that often, i do have a fic where the whole format is that every section opens with a weather report (it’s a song fic for the song “the weather” by lawrence and the weather has a lot of indicators of the character’s feelings in them and such) so maybe that one lol. I didn’t know that was a rule. I also do love using incomplete sentences sometimes, especially when the narration is pretty close to a character’s thoughts."

36. They say to Write What You Know. Setting aside for a moment the fact that this is terrible advice…what do you Know? well! i know a lot about professional theater! and i know about minnesota! and i know a bit about uninhibited joy and grief and loneliness and human connection!

luke is a best selling romcom book writer who has massive writer's block for his most recent wip. he has a meet cute with michael exactly like the one he wrote in his story, and then events start playing out in an eerily similar way. with shenanigans, romance, and a touch of magic, muke get their happy ending and luke finds the perfect ending for his book while discovering that sometimes real life is just as ridiculous as the silliest storyline

Nothing much has changed about the forest in the two years that Ashton has been gone. Nothing much has changed about Ashton either, except everything. Two years ago Ashton severed his pack bond, betrayed his pack, and fled across the country. Now, unable to manage his shift and hearing reports of devastation in the Northwoods, he has to travel back home and solve the problem before his old pack finds him.

1. What font do you write in? Do you actually care or is that just the default setting? I write in Arial usually! It's the default on google docs and I don't care that much, but if the default suddenly changed to a different font I would probably change it back because it's what I'm used to now.

5. Do you have any writing superstitions? What are they and why are they 100% true? this is such a boring answer but I actually don't think I do? at least I can't think of any right now

If a witch offered you the choice between eternal happiness with your one true love and the ability to finally finish, perfect, and publish your dearest, darlingest, most precious WIP in exactly the way you’ve always imagined it — which would you choose? You can’t have both sorry, life’s a bitch I think I'd choose eternal happiness with my one true love tbh! i am lonely. more importantly, I can't pinpoint what my dearest, darlingest, most precious WIP is! all of my fics have their time as my darling and their time where I feel apathetic about them, and I wouldn't want to choose the WIP when I don't even know which one it would be. i can write it on my own, i know i can! (the one exception to this may be if i revisit my original stories more, as there's one that i'm very fond of but i haven't worked on it in years so i don't feel that much drive to finish it right now, life will go on with it still as a wip)
