I have a question (the answer of which will be seen in a future fan art project by me) for the silm fandom:

Which animal do you associate with Maedhros?

Interesting question!

Maedhros is such a fascinating and tragic elf and I wasn't sure if you wanted a non fictional animal or a fictional but I associate Maedhros with a phoenix. The phoenix conceptualizes existence as a continuous cycle of birth, death, and rebirth and to me that is Maedhros.
