ATEEZ Mini Scenarios: S/O naively forgives them after they cheated (requested)

(a/n: OMG SO I HAD THIS IN THE WORKS FOR SO LONG! I finally finished it. ;^; Im sorry for the really really really late post on this .. also forgive me if this is a bit bad.. I'm a bit rusty now.. LOL)

(Slight warning: involves cheating and other slight mentions of alcohol. Also please make sure to understand where your line draws, define lines clearly about what you feel, and always communicated. Hongjoong

“Babe, please… I’m sorry..” You hear his voice cracking at the other side of the door. How you ended up here, you hated to think about it.. You decided to visit Hongjoong at his studio since he was rarely home. You made it into the front desk when you caught a glimpse of his blue locks. You smiled and was about to scream his name when you saw him kiss another person. You didn’t know if you wanted to scream or cry. You made eye contact with him and when he realized it, you were already bolting out the building. Now you’re here with Hongjoong pounding outside your door, you crying with your back against it.

“Go away Hongjoong!” You said, trying your best to stay calm.

“Please.. please listen to me.. give me another chance..” You can hear him say. Your heart broke as you heard his voice. The pain in his voice, made your heartache. Your stupid heart..

“Stupid heart.. stop hurting..” You whispered to yourself, barely holding yourself together.

“Please just open the door,” Hongjoong said, and something inside you knew it was a bad idea, but you opened it anyways. As soon as he saw you, he quickly embraced you. It was wrong, but your heart missed him so much.

“Please forgive me.. Just give me another chance.” He asked and you silently nodded, burying your face into his chest. He felt a sense of relief washed over him as he didn’t lose you.

Seonghwa

“How do you expect me to just ignore it Seonghwa!” You screamed as he was trying to calm you down.

“Babe..”

“DON’T BABE ME…” You shout as you tried to wave him off. He persisted, trying to block your way from leaving.

“Please, just let me explain,” Seonghwa said, making you frustrated.

“There’s nothing to explain, now move.”

“THERE IS!” Seonghwa shouted, scaring you for a brief moment before you got mad again.

“NO THERE IS NOT!” You shouted, trying to push him when he pulls you into his chest. You struggle to push away when he only held you closer.

“I don’t want to lose you. I won’t excuse what I’ve done but I swear it wasn’t anything. I don’t want you to leave me. I don’t know what I would do without you.”

“It’s always about you. When will it be about me Seonghwa?” You asked finally pushing out of his arms. You couldn’t look at him directly, the tears already filling your eyes.

“Now… It's about you now. I promise I’ll change. I’ll make it all about you, give you what you want and need. Please.. please don’t leave me..” He said, whispering the last few words. Your heart broke as you already knew you couldn’t leave. You knew he would say things just to get you to stay.

“okay..” You said, staying with him. Why you chose to stay, maybe some part in you thought you can change him.

Yunho

He sat next to you as you cried into your hands, trying to not cry. He knows what you saw, he knows that he messed up.

“(Y/n)…” Yunho starts but you just ignore him.

“Don’t..” You say, trying to stop him from talking. You didn’t want to hear what he had to say, but you were lying to yourself. You wanted to know what he wanted to say. You wanted to know answers to why did he do it, when did it start, how did it happen.. You had so many questions.

“Please.. Let me explain.” Yunho asked, as he slowly reached over to hold your hands. You flinched away from his hands but he caught it.

“STOP!” You say, trying to push him away, tears now running down your face.

“(Y/n) PLEASE, LISTEN TO ME!” Yunho raised his voice, scaring you to look at him. Never have you ever heard this tone with him. You just stared at him, tears streaming down your face. His eyes were soft, almost as if there was a small tear, threatening to fall. You soften at his expression, wanting everything to just stop. You wanted the pain from seeing Yunho with another girl at a restaurant together, them holding hands, and right before they were gonna kiss, you and Yunho made eye contact. You wanted to stop the pain, you wanted to run, disappear. You looked away from Yunho’s face now in front of you.

“Listen… it wasn’t anything.. My parents set me up with this girl.. But I don’t want her…” Yunho said, softly. He was looking at you, wanting you to understand.

“That doesn’t give you the right to cheat on me…” You said, wanting him to fight his parents. His parents had always disapproved of you but setting him up on a date, where he held her hands and almost kissed her..

“I don’t want to be with her..” Yunho said, trying to get you to listen to him.

“Why? You seem to be okay with going out with her, holding hands, and even going in to kiss her!” You said.

“BECAUSE I LOVE YOU, NOT HER!” Yunho said, making your eyes widen. He said it, whether he said it to get you to stay or he actually meant it, you couldn’t tell. But all you cared about was the fact that he told you he loves you.

“I love you too Yunho.. Please don’t leave..” You said, deciding to give him another chance. He pulled you into a hug, as you cried into his chest.

“I won’t.. Please don’t leave me..” He whispered softly.

Yeosang

You and Yeosang sat crossed from each other. You looked at him, angry and full of pain. You had seen him earlier holding hands with someone you know he was friends with and trusted that they would never be more than friends but here you are.

“Do you want me to ask you to explain or are you going to just do it?” You asked, blunt. Yeosang was a bit nervous, he didn’t know what. You were always blunt and honest with him. He knew what he did was wrong but somehow words couldn’t leave his mouth.

“(Y/n)…” Yeosang begins as you stare at him, waiting for whatever he is saying. He stops and takes a deep breath. He knows you may never forgive him but he didn’t want to let you go. He cautiously reaches over, hoping to hold your hand. You noticed his actions and retracted your hands, knowing that the wall you built will only crumble if he did that.

“I’m waiting..” You said, looking at him again, this time your eyes softened a little.

“It was nothing like that.” Yeosang started, trying to come up with excuses in his mind.

“Then what is it like then Kang Yeosang? My boyfriend holding hands with someone else and getting all comfortable..” You said, seeing Yeosang deflate a little.

“Look… (y/n).. It was nothing… I promise you…”

“I don’t know if I could trust you on your promises anymore yeosang.. You already broke one..” You said trying your best to sound unfazed until you saw his eyes. His soft eyes, tears threatening to fall, your heart wavered. How is it that he hurt you so much and yet here he is your weak spot? He looks away, trying to figure out a way to keep you with him. He soft wipes the tear that almost fell as he took a deep breath. You watched him, your heart felt pain as you watched him desperately trying to keep the tears inside. You reached over, touching his hands. He looks over at you trying to understand. You sighed.

“I’ll give you a second chance.. but that's it..” You said, trying to sound firm, but let's be honest.. You don’t know how firm you can be when Yeosang is around.

San

San clung to you as you were trying to leave.

“(Y/n) please… (y/n)! PLEASE!!” He begged, tears rolling down his face. He held you as you try to push him off of you.

“San… Stop.. let go..” You said, not looking at him. San whines and stubbornly says a no.

“I'm tired San.. You obviously want to be with someone else… please, let me go..” You said, sighing as he clung to you a bit tighter. Your head was pressed against his chest as his face nuzzled itself into your neck. You can feel something warm roll on your skin. You knew he was crying. Your heart ached as you slowly hugged him back.

“Please.. don’t leave me..” San whines against your skin. You comforted San as he kept crying, holding onto you a bit tighter. You just sighed and patted his back.

“I don’t like seeing my boyfriend kissing with some other people that's not me… You get a second chance but that's all you get…” You said, giving in to his whines and tears. He pulled away from you in shock, tears welling up in his eyes again..

“You won’t REGRET IT!” He said, with such happiness, pulling you back into another hug.

Mingi

Tears rolled down your cheeks as you see someone you thought was your friend sitting on Mingi’s lap, with Mingi’s arms around them. You quickly turned your heels and walk away when Mingi noticed you and quickly pushes them off.

He manages to grab your wrist and stops you.

“(Y/n)….” You heard Mingi say your name in a soft-spoken voice. You quickly wiped the tears streaming down your face as you pulled your wrist out of his grasp. With your back towards Mingi, you waited for him to say something.

“Let’s break up..” You finally said, breaking the silence since he wasn’t going to say anything.

“NO!” Mingi responds quickly, in panic. He couldn’t lose you.

“Why the hell not?!” You turned around to face him, in anger. You were mad, mad that he would do this to you, and then had the audacity to say no to a breakup.

“(Y/n)… please…. I don’t like them… I promise… They were the ones who got on me..” Mingi said, trying to explain.

“Do you really expect me to believe that? How long would they be with you if I wasn’t looking? If I wasn’t in the room?” You said, tears starting to flow down your face again. Mingi’s heart tightened as he hated seeing your cry. He slowly reaches his hands to wipe your tears.

“I’m sorry… Please don’t cry…” Mingi said, his heartbreaking as tears kept streaming down your face, and he continuously wipes them away. You hated it, how he had such an impact on you.

“It won’t happen again… Please…” Mingi said pulling you in as you continue to cry in his chest. All you can do now was try to rebuild that trust again.

Wooyoung

You always knew that Wooyoung was a bit wild but you never thought in a million years you would see your boyfriend kissing your best friend in the hallway. Your happy expression from before dropped when Wooyoung notices you and he quickly backs up from her. You just sighed and walks past them. Your best friend tries to speak but you just shook your head.

“I don’t want to hear it.” You said, stopping in your tracks and letting out a sad chuckle.

“(Y/n)…” Wooyoung said but you held your hand up to stop him from talking.

“I said I don’t want to hear it.” You look at them. “I trusted both of you, but I realized that was wrong of me. Let’s never contact or talk to each other.” You said, leaving them to stand there. When you reached out of the building, it started to rain. ‘The rain is just as sad as me.’ You thought. You sigh before walking out into the rain, not caring if you got soaked. On the walk home, you took a detour through the park, memories of the times with Wooyoung popped into your head. You frowned as you stood in the middle of an empty park. Tears haven’t hit you yet, as you just felt numb to everything. You bathed in the rain, looking at the ground when you felt something on your shoulders and the rain stopped. You looked up to see Wooyoung there with an umbrella, his jacket around your shoulders.

“You’ll get sick..” He said, with concern in his voice but you were sure he was faking it.

“I don’t need your pity.” You said, take the jacket and shoving it back to him. You continue to walk when he stopped you, letting the jacket fall on the ground.

“Please.” Wooyoung pleaded. You stopped letting wooyoung stop you.

“What is there to say?” You said, looking at anything but him. He dropped everything and hugged you from the back, his face nuzzled into your neck.

“You’re mine and I’m yours…” Wooyoung said, muffled with his face in your neck.

“That's clearly not true.” You said, letting out a scoff at that line.

“What can I do to prove it to you?” You heard him when you felt something warm hit your skin. You quickly look at wooyoung, turning around in his arms. He was crying. Your heart clenches at the sight, you wiped away his tears, your heart feeling heavy.

“I’m sorry, I’ll make it up to you.. Ten folds.” Wooyoung said, his voice almost breaking.. You sighed before going in for a hug. He wrapped his arms around you, holding on tight. He couldn’t bear the thought of you with someone else. Was it because he really meant it or was it that you would just always take him back? You never really know.

Jongho

There were times you really thought you were strong, but it all came crashing down when you saw Jongho kissing some random girl at a party that he lied he was not at. You quickly left the scene, quickly leaving your apartment that you shared that night. When he came back, you were already gone. He called, texted you, called your friends and family, wondering where you were. When you finally picked up his call a week later, you agreed to meet him at a cafe near the apartment. You sat there as if you weren’t crying in the past week at his friend’s, San, place the whole week. You stared at your phone, distracting yourself while you wait for Jongho to arrive. When you felt someone’s presence next to you, you look over to see Jongho standing there, his fist clenched. You can tell he was angry, you cowered in his glaze.

“Sit..” You said, turning away to look at the chair. Jongho let out a sigh and kneeled down next to you, taking your hands as he tried to not cry.

“I was worried sick. No call, no text, you wouldn’t even answer me.” Jongho said you looked away, blinking away the tears before you pulled your hands off of him.

“I don’t think you deserve the privilege to know what I am doing and where I am.” You said and he immediately looked up to look at your face, to understand if you were joking or not. When he found no trace of it, he grabbed your hands again.

“Baby… What’s wrong? Please.. tell me.” Jongho said, but something within him knew what you could have seen.

“Jongho.. I came here to say, we are over.” You said, as you stood up and removed your hand from his grasp. When you notice that people were staring, you quickly excused yourself, grabbing your things and heading out the door, leaving him there. He could only guess what happened and somewhere he knew he was wrong, but he couldn’t let you go like this.

“Wait..” He said, standing up and following you out the door, stopping you by grabbing your wrist.

“Let go Jongho, we are over.” You said as he lets go of your wrist.

“Tell me what I did wrong?! Why are you breaking up with me?!” Jongho asked, tears threatening to fall.

“You lied to me..” You said, starting off. It was then he knew, the party, the one he said he would not go to.

“Baby, are you talking about the party?” Jongho asked, and you nodded.

“Yeah, that.. but not only that.” You said, not wanting to remember it.

“Baby, I’m sorry I lied.. I wasn’t planning on going but it just happened.”

“So going to the party and kissing another girl just happens.. I see Jongho.” You said, looking at Jongho with glossy eyes. He couldn’t bear to see your cry.

“I was drunk.. I didn’t know what was happening (y/n)..” He said, you just let out a sad chuckle, you knew that. You knew that he was clearly taken advantage of, but also the choice of him going was his, the choice of him lying was his.. He hugged you, holding on to you.

“Please… please don’t leave me..” He whispers softly, sadness in his voice. You couldn’t find it in yourself to push him away but only nuzzled into his warmth. Whether he would continue to lie to you, you would never know. All you know is that you forgave him, naively.

Summary: He didn’t like losing, especially when it comes to games.

(a/n: omg hey... lol ... uhhhhhhh sooooo i randomly had this inspiration to write this.. sorry for not uploading in the longest time ever ... hahahahahahhahahhah ;^; i hope this makes up for it ..)

You bounce the ball once before spinning it in your hand. You look at the net and took a deep breath before dribbling the ball two more times and spinned it again in your hand before getting ready to shoot. As soon as the ball left your hand, a loud thud scared you causing you to throw the ball way way of course.

“What are you doing?” You heard the voice of someone you could recognize anywhere. Quickly running to get the ball that had air ball and missed the net completely.

“Uh… sorry, I was just leaving..” You said, quickly not looking at the owner of the voice and leaving the gym quickly.

Though you didn’t turn around to look at the owner of the voice, you already knew who it belong to. Yunho. The captain of the basketball team and very tall, but also very handsome. Him and his group of friends were very popular around the school. You hate to admit but you had the biggest crush on him. You really remember why you really liked basketball, it was because of him. You blushed profusely as you had never expected someone to come during that time, especially since you’ve always done that, shooting and playing by yourself. You never had the confidence to tryout for the team, but you had practice and played by yourself.

“Hey! Wait!” You can hear Yunho’s voice as you clearly can hear him running. You started running, trying keep your basketball in your hand well running. However, you couldn’t hold on to it and run as fast as your could and ended up dropping it, but instead of going back to grab it, you left it and ran as fast as you could. The basketball managed to slow Yunho down as he went to grab it and by the time he got the ball, you were already far away that he wouldn’t be able to catch up. He pouts as he held the ball in his hands.

Today was a rare day that he forgotten something in the gym and thus is why when he saw someone in the gym, he called out to them. Only to have them run away from him. It confused him. He looked at the ball in his hand and smiles before heading back to the gym. When he arrived, his friends were already there.

“Where you go?” Seonghwa asked him and saw Yunho had a ball in his hands.

“Uh.. long story..” Yunho said, before Seonghwa tried to reached for the basketball. Yunho quickly pull the ball away from the older’s grasp.

“Yah! Let me see that ball..” Seonghwa pouts.

“No.. Its not mines.. I’m holding it until I could find the owner.” Yunho said and the others raised an eyebrow.

“The owner? Couldn’t they just buy a new ball?” Hongjoong spoke up, stretching his arms.

“Im sure they will come back..” Yunho said, before returning to their practice.

Later on that night, you sighed. Without your basketball, you couldn’t help but be a bit sad. How were you going to get your basketball back without having to face Yunho? Yunho was too popular to walk up to and honestly you couldn’t face him after running away from him.

You sighed and called your best friend, San, that night whining.

“Sannnnnnnnieeeee….” You whined, as he sighs.

“What? What do you want me to do?” San asked, knowing you would want him to ask Yunho, someone he was only close with because of his boyfriend Seonghwa was on the team.

“Could you get it back for me? Ask Seonghwa to ask Yunho for it.. or something..” You said, whining. He sighed.

“I can ask but I’m sure Yunho won’t give it to Seonghwa. Why don’t you just ask him yourself? Cause not you have an excuse to talk to him.” San snickered, a smirk appearing on his face. You pout, giving up in knowing San wouldn’t do it. “I don’t see why you can’t just talk to him (y/n)… It’s not like he’s gonna bite you or something.”

“He won’t but everyone else would.” You said, knowing how vicious girls at your school can be.

“Please, they wouldn’t dare touch my best friend.” San said, making you smile.

“I think you’re a little delusional.” You said, making him gasp in disbelief.

“You did not just said that to me..” San said and you mocking repeated what he said, causing you both to laugh. “I’ll ask Seonghwa but don’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen.” San said giving you a sense of relief.

“Thanks Sannie, you’re the best.”

The next day, San and Seonghwa found you sitting by yourself, eyes closed and face laying on your arms.

“Hey…” Seonghwa said, greeting you, causing you to shoot up.

“Did you get it?” You said, looking at Seonghwa who had nothing in his hands but holding San’s hands.

“No.. Yunho said if you want it, get it yourself.” Seonghwa said, causing you to sigh. You were never getting your ball back.

“I told you (y/n)..” San said, making you glare at him.

“Just go and ask him, why are you so scared for?” Seonghwa asked and you stood up angrily.

“FINE!” You said, glaring at the two of them.  You walked toward the gym, your feet dragging as you really didn’t want to do this.

Once you reached the gym, you can see Yunho shooting with your basketball. You glared as you stomped in.

“YAH!” You shout, making Yunho slightly jump at the sudden noise. Yunho looks over to see you stomping over to him. He found it rather cute.

“Why hi… You’re San’s friend right?” Yunho asked, holding your ball between his hips and his arm. You sighed.

“I just came to get my ball back.” You said when Yunho took a step closer to you, making you step back a bit. He smirked.

“Oh yeah? How you going to do that?” He asked and you raised an eyebrow.

“Can I please have my ball back?” You asked, politely this time. Yunho smirked but before he could really answered, you quickly knocked out the ball from his hands and ran to catch it. It really took Yunho a couple seconds to completely process what just happened but when he did, you were already out the door. He chuckled lightly at your actions.. Not only did you manage to completely steal the ball from him, but you also manage to make quite an impression on him. He wasn’t going to lose if thats how you wanted to play.

You decided that you were not going to play in the gym after school anymore as you didn’t want to risk another interaction with Yunho. Why was it that, your first instinct was to run away from him?

But as week passed by, it was proven difficult to avoid him. Yunho would constantly show up when you least expected it. Such as when you and San were talking as San was waiting for Seonghwa. Yunho unexpectedly came with Seonghwa today.

“Hey babe.” Seonghwa said, giving san a quick peck on the cheek before sitting down next to San. You missed it as you found your glaze occupied by Yunho.

“Oh, Yunho came with you?” San asked, taking you out of your thoughts. You quickly looked away, but Yunho smirked as he caught you staring at him.

“Oh yeah..” Seonghwa said, shrugging. Yunho took a seat next to you as you ignored him. Your eyes glued to San who was looking at you in amusement. You got up and picked up your basketball on the way, making your way to the courts nearby. You dribbled the ball, wanting to take your mind off of Yunho. You got near the three-point line and took a shot, your shot making a swish as it made it in the basket. You run to grab the ball when Yunho took it before you even reached it.

“Hey..” Yunho said, holding the ball in his hands.

“Hi?” You said, placing your hands on your hips.

“Let’s play a game..” Yunho said, spinning the ball in his hands. You make an attempt towards it but he was faster. Yunho smirked and held the ball with both his hands and leaned in close to you. “Let’s play a game. If I win, you let me take you out on a date. If you win, you take me out on a date.”

“That sounds like a lose-lose situation for me. How about if I win, you leave me alone?” You retorted back at him, causing him to chuckle.

“Then I guess, I better not lose then.” Yunho said, handing you the ball. You sighed and walked to the free-throw line.

“Okay, we play one game of 21. First to 21 wins. Shoot for ball.” You said, passing him the ball with a chest pass.

“21 is too long. First to 11 and you shoot first. I want this to be fair.” Yunho said, passing the ball back to you with a bounce pass. You rolled your eyes, thinking how cocky can he be. You stepped up to the free throw line. You bounced the ball once, twice, and then spinned it your hand before shooting the ball, making the basket.

“My ball.” You said, walking towards the half court line as Yunho went to grab the ball.

Yunho passed you the ball and you passed it back saying “check”. Once you got the ball back you held it a bit before make a fast move toward your right, dribbling the ball, causing yunho to chase you but you faked him and spinned around him running towards the basket into a lay-up, making your first point. Yunho took a minute to process that you had just made a point passed him. He sighed, he didn’t like losing and surely enough he was not going to lose.

He grabbed the ball and passed it to you again, starting another round.

“check.” You said, passing the ball to yunho. He threw it back to you and you pump faked him before dribbling passed him down the court, reaching the free-throw line and shooting it, making it swish into the basket. You smiled as it had been a long time since you were able to play a game. San always gave up after you made the first point because “you’re too good and I don’t want to play anymore. Ask Seonghwa.”

“You’re pretty good.” Yunho said, passing you the ball. You shrugged.

“I can’t say the same about you. Check” You replied, passing him the ball again. Yunho felt hurt in his pride a little but he was determine to win.

He passed you the ball and when you start dribbling towards the basket, Yunho managed to steal the ball, clearing it before making a shot from the three-point line.

“That right there is 2 point.” Yunho said, grinning. You rolled your eyes before grabbing the ball.

You two kept up the game until it was 10-9. You were losing by 2 and you really couldn’t let Yunho win. Yunho held the ball, before dribbling closer to you. He quickly faked to his left before crossing the ball to the right getting in closer and when you manage to catch up, he took a step forward towards you, causing you to back up and when you did, he stepped back and shot a fade-away. You tried to block the ball but was too late and you rushed to hopefully rebound the ball if it was to miss but unfortunately it didn’t. You pout and sighed. You looked at Yunho who had a smile on his face.

“Looks like I won.” Yunho said, coming closer to you. You rolled your eyes.

“You got lucky.” You said and he chuckled.

“So I get to take you out on a date.” Yunho said and you had hope that he forgotten about it.

“Fine..” You said and he took your hand and pulled you closer to him. You landed in his chest, as he chuckles.

“Can I kiss you?” He asked and you blushed. You looked at him but pushed him away.

“Like you would want to.” You said and he pulled you back to face him before kissing you. And wow, did his lips feel so soft. You were lost in the feeling that when he pulled away, you had the biggest reddest face. He smiled, enjoying the reaction he was pulling from you.

“(Y/n) I want to take you on a date.” Yunho softly smiled, causing you to feel the butterflies in your stomach.

“You win this time..” You said, agreeing to the date.

“I always win..”

You smiled watching as Minhyuk comes over and sets your drink in front of you.

“Thank you Minnie..” You said, smiling. You were madly in love with Minhyuk, he was your soulmate. You both had been busy so times that you were able to spend with him were great. You loved the colors you can see because you both love each other so much. Everything just fell into place. Minhyuk reached over and grabbed your hands and held it in his.

“Anything for you.” His smile makes your world spin.

“Minhyuk… how much do you love me?” You asked, wanting to hear him say it over and over.

“More than anything I can say.” He grinned, placing a kiss on your hands. You giggled as you look at him loving.

Times like these were getting rarer and rarer nowadays. You wish you could see him more, you missed him. But you knew in your heart, he still loves you and you still love him because of the colors.

You met with him a few weeks later, happy to see him again. You were happy to hold his hands.

“How are you Minnie?” You asked as he shrugged. You were so happy to see him.

“I’m okay.. just tired.” He answered as he gave you a peck on the cheek. You blushed as you weren’t expecting that. You pout as you can tell they haven’t gotten proper rest.

“Did you just want to head back to the apartment and relax?” You asked, not wanting to stress him even more as since these were the few times he can only rest.

“No.. I want to take you out to somewhere special..” He said, giving you his beautiful smile. You blushed and smiled cheekily at him. The way he made you feel, treating you out to small dates. Walking in the park, and just being able to talk about anything with him. You were happy with him, he was your soulmate.

As weeks passed and months go by, you didn’t bother him as he was busy. When he was home, you would just stay inside.

“You okay?” You asked and he just quietly nods.

“I just want to sleep..” He said and you nodded understanding. You tucked him into bed.

Weeks and months, he continues to get busier as you were slowly starting to get busy as well. When you had days off you would try your best to spend it with him, but he was tired. You didn’t know when it started but you noticed your apartment wasn’t as bright as it used to be.

“It must be because it is dark outside.” You said, entering your room and changed before knocking out on the bed. Minhyuk had come home, and you slightly woke up to him getting in the bed. You smiled as he gave you a kiss on the forehead. You still felt the butterflies.

“I love you..” You said, surprising him.

“I thought you were asleep..” He said pulling you in, you hummed in response.

The next morning, you woke up with Minhyuk already gone. You smiled and knew that he had left early due to work. You still notice the surrounding was a bit dull but you waved it off as you still being groggy from waking up. You got up and prepared yourself as usual before going to work. During your break, you called Minhyuk to see if he wanted to eat together, but he didn’t pick up. He must be busy with work and is working hard. You didn’t want to bother him so you continue your work. The world was still full of color, you can still look at the blue sky.

When you arrived home again, you noticed how much duller the light felt. You sighed and made a note to buy new light bulbs.

“I need to buy new light bulbs again..” You sighed as you remember buying brand new light bulbs not too long ago. “I guess I just have to buy a different brand.”

You went to your bedroom and changed into clothing to sleep again. You touched your forehead and splashed water on your face. Were you getting sick? You questioned yourself. You rubbed your eyes and went to your laptop to continue some work you had to finish. It was 3 am when Minhyuk walked in and you just finished your work. You both smiled at each other before going to bed, everything feeling like usual. Maybe you were getting sick, or just overworked. The next day again, Minhyuk was gone by the morning. You had a break today so you decided to visit Minhyuk.

You went to his work, bringing in flowers for your anniversary. You rubbed your eyes as everything looked dull.

“I must be really tired.” You said to yourself. You were going to properly rest later after this you told yourself.

You walked in and see him, talking to someone. You went over to see it was someone you both knew. Before you said anything, Minhyuk took their hands and placed a kiss on it.

At that exact moment is when the world turns black and white. You felt like you heard the universe shattered as your world went from colors to nothing but black and white. You dropped the flowers you held, causing them to look at you. Minhyuk’s face was filled with shock from seeing you there. He didn’t know what to do but you did…

“(Y/n)… I can expl-“ Minhyuk said before you stopped him.

“Stop.. its over Minhyuk… the colors are gone.. let’s just stopped this..” You said before turning around and walking out the door. Surprising no tears came out as you left, but your soul was empty and the colorless surroundings filled your heart with darkness. You don’t remember how it felt to be in black and white.. But with no color, it felt motionless, no life around you even though people walked by you. You never noticed it, when your world started to become dull and colorless. Everything was really over..

What path leads you here? All you knew was that one moment you had everything and in a blink of an eye, you lost everything.

Your voice caught in your throat as you watch him from afar. Jongho, the once true love of your life. You softly smiled, hiding the stabbing pain to your heart, as you watched.

If pained you but what can you do? Only the past is remembered in your heart.

“(Y/n)! Come on!” Jongho chuckles, waking you up from your nap. You turned to see that gummy smile of his.

“Jongho, did I ever tell you I love you?” You asked. He leaned over and gave you a peck on the lips.

“Yes.. Everyday.” He says as you blushed from his sudden affection. He chuckles at your reaction as you pout and pull him into a hug. He wraps his arms tight around you.

“Never leave me okay?” You said softly and he nods.

“I’ll won’t leave until you want me too.” He said.

The tears want to fall as the memory replays. You lost him from the tips of your fingers. You watched as he softly sweeps his new girl’s hair behind her ear.

“You’re so beautiful.” He said, making you feel your already shattered heartbreak into more pieces. You remember when he would tell you every day just how beautiful you were. You hated watching him from afar now. You wanted to be the one he looked at again.

“(Y/n).. look at me..” Jongho said, sternly as you pout at your figure in the mirror.

“Jongho… I can’t go out like this.. people will think bad of you..” You said making him forcing you to turn to him.

“You’re beautiful… and I love you just the way you are.”

“I love you just the way you are.” You heard him say, flashing you back to reality. That's what he would tell you every day. How much did it hurt? Too much. You watched as they got up. Paying their check and leaving the shop. You watched as they left. Jongho doesn’t even give you a glance. You had to pretend as if everything was okay. ‘Don’t cry (y/n)’ is all you think as he walks by you.

“Jongho…” You whimpered as he pushes you behind him.

“(Y/n) run.. run!” He shouts as he takes a punch to the other guy. You both just finished the date and was walking home when someone stops you both with a knife. The person demanded your possessions when he smirked to see you. He also demanded your body in exchange for not hurting you both when Jongho pushes you and takes a punch at the guy. You didn’t want to leave Jongho, but he told you to run so you hid. You took out your phone and called the police. Suddenly you felt someone pull your hair.

“Found you b*tch..” another person said. Your scream grabbed Jongho’s attention as he makes his way over to you. You tried to get out of his grip when Jongho landed a punch on the guy’s face. You were in tears as you watched helplessly. Jongho was trying his best to fiend as the police were on their way. They had managed to hold Jongho when you tried to help they simply pushed you away before you could react again, one of them had already stabbed Jongho.

“Jongho!” You screamed and run towards them again when the sound of the police sirens echoes.

“Sh*t lets run..” One said to the other and they both start to run away. You cried, holding Jongho in your arms.

“Stay with me.. Stay with me..” You whispered, crying. Jongho gave you his gummy smile again looking at you.

“Don’t cry.. I hate being the reason that you’re crying..” Jongho said, making you tear up even more. Were you going to lose him? You can’t lose him. You don’t want to be on this earth without Jongho alive.

“Please… please don’t die..” You sobbed, tears running down your face. Jongho sweeps your hair behind your ear.

“You’re the most beautiful girl in the world. I'm so happy to have you apart of my life.” He softly whispered, making you cry even more.

“Please… Please… I’ll do anything… Just stay with me..” You cried, Jongho smiled at you once more before closing his eyes. “PLEASE… I’ll DO ANYTHING… SOMEONE HELP!” You cried when suddenly someone appeared before you.

“I can save him. But at a cost.” They said you couldn’t see due to the tears making your vision blurry.

“I’ll do anything..” You cried.

“I can save him, but at the loss of all his memories of you two together.”

There you had decided that fate was cruel to give you that option. He was taking the highway to a new paradise while you took the highway of pain for his happiness.
