Movie coming out on Jan 2026? What?!
Screw Avatar Studios, man! These guys have nothing to show, nothing to tell, nothing remotely interesting going on.
What a joke. I'm tired of these delays. No movie news, no graphic novel new, comics, anything! We're only grasping at straws here!!
I understand the frustration, right now it feels like we will never get the next animated projects, but they have been working on them and because of Nick/Paramount they can't just show them to us whenever so we have to wait until much closer to release to see anything.
We have the Roku novel in a few months followed very shortly by The Bounty Hunter and The Tea Brewer. Yes, we definitely need to know what is coming after that, will the Mako comic finally get solicited, when is the next comic announcement, etc.
It is clear the franchise is SLOWLY, but surely building to something bigger. The soundtrack and concert, early news that is beginning to make that first movie feel real, if they can create a bit more excitement somewhere with a surprise new comic or something it would really help, feels like we will need something to get us through late 2024/early 2025 before stuff will begin to kick off in the build up to the movie.
We will get there, it has been SO LONG now that there is no way they are not putting out what they are working on, we just have to get through this rough patch.
