Now that I have finally seen the official Wayhaven Chronicles' artworks, I'm in the middle of making some modifications in my drawings about Nate' skintone (I think I drew him with a too golden skin undertone).

define toxic.

this is deadass the last one i will respond to. i am done after this.

toxic is me stating my general opinion, entirely open ended about an entire sub genre of fanfic. no personal attacks or call outs. but i’ve been getting nonstop messages from pussy ass anons telling me to be direct. while they’re on anon. but we’re saying shit with our chest, right?

toxic is endless attacks about my fanfic directly. more than what i posted. calling my fic boring, calling my well fleshed out mc who has lots of depth boring and a mary sue. saying my numbers are only what they are because i wrote my fic when the fandom was smaller, which logically doesn’t even make sense.

toxic is those messages eventually moving on to personal attacks on me as a person. as they always end up. calling me bitter, shitty, and a coward. once again - on fucking anon. essentially calling me irrelevant and that no one gives a fuck about me.

but it’s me, right? i’m the mean girl? the fandom fucking mean girl? literally suck my entire dick.

i’m so sick of the fake positivity that this fandom tries to have. you all say support all writers and content creators. including the ones who intentionally villainize characters of color while putting white ones up on pedestals. you’re silent about literal r*pe fics. you allow and spread the fetishization of queer people, specifically queer men.

but i’m the problem. it’s me.

yall out here supporting and accepting open and blatant racism. but i cannot say i’m not into villa rewrites without endless anon hate attacking me personally.

that’s toxic, mama.

She feels like home.

Tanner hadn't realised it to quite this degree before, not until he left. Not until every night dragged, his days eventually doing the same with him running on empty after spending his nights missing her.

Not until he felt that vaguely familiar emptiness once she was out of his life, like he wasn't quite put together right anymore.

Not even entirely until she was right in front of him again and all at once it was like his joints locked in properly, his muscles relaxed back into their usual places and his heart could suddenly beat without straining anymore. Not until then did he notice how displaced his entire being felt without her.

And now she's lying beside him, not keeping a carefully measured distance like she used to, but pressed right up against his chest as they lay facing each other, one arm draped over his waist and the other resting lightly on his chest.

She's still asleep; has been that way all night. As though those months that he was away had disrupted her just as much.

He knows she's been asleep all night because he, on the other hand, has spent yet another night wide awake. Just watching her. The way her face softens when she finally falls into a real sleep, the way her hair falls around her face, the way her body seems to somehow both relax into and reach for his at the same time.

She blinks her eyes open and all at once the softness is gone when she sees his face barely inches from hers, giving him a small frown.

"What?" she snaps, her voice harsh, but he knows better by now. He remembers the way she works just as well as he'd remembered what she likes and what her body's reactions meant the night before.

He knows that she's unsure of him, still now, just a little bit, and just as unsure of what her own feelings for him mean. So, she plays it off as hostility towards him, but he knows otherwise.

"You're beautiful," he answers quietly, the expected eye roll in response coming before he's even finished the word.

"Shut up."

"Make me."

"You want me to gag you again?" She pulls away from him a little and arches an eyebrow, the tiniest hint of a smirk playing on her lips.

He knows this one now, too. Abruptly trying to shift the mood by coming onto him and hoping he's thinking with his dick enough to go for it.

Which usually he is. But not this time.

"Later," he tells her, absentmindedly lifting a hand to push her hair away from her face before running his fingers through it and letting them massage her scalp lightly.

"Please," she objects offhandedly despite the way her eyes slowly fall closed at the gentle head massage, "don't tell me this is how you're gonna be from now on."

"Mm sometimes," he replies thoughtfully, chuckling when she opens her eyes to glare half-heartedly at him. "You're beautiful and I missed you, let me have this one."

She lets out an exaggerated sigh - far too exaggerated to be believable - and somehow manages to move even closer to him. He drops his hand to her back and presses her flush against him in a hug, burying his face into the crook of her neck and taking a deep breath.

She feels like home.
